When I first heard of ultrakill I did not expect to love it as much as I did. But then I finished it and everything was so intense. This game fills your brain with so much adrenaline it's insane.

One of the concept artists currently working on ultrakill essentially got hired because they drew that bodypillow of Gabriel. Yes, he’s absolutely getting reamed.
Another artist for ULTRAKILL also draws gabriel getting fucked! It's basically confirmed that Gabriel is a forever bottom canonically

I literally played this game for the first time yesterday and when she only died ONCE in 3-1 I was dumbfounded

Calling ULTRAKILL a "Fast Game" is like calling Wally West a "Fast Guy", and an utter understatement.
When you play ULTRAKILL, you aren't fast, you're fucking omnipresent.
Shen: Instantly learns and uses projectile boosting
Also Shen: Only heals herself by punching
One of that games that you can't play with your normal brain.
You need to use the lizard brain and tap into the pure murderous instinct.

It's interesting to see Shen get pretty good at knowing when it's safe to go in and punch for fuel but didn't mess around with parrying enemies all much for most of the video
It really doesn't get much more metal than this game's intro
A fast-paced game and Shen's chaotic energy is just the perfect combination.
The progressive sounds of agony after each boss really makes you feel like Shen herself is slowly warping, becoming a machine, to better kick that twink Gabriel's ass
I love watching people experience ULTRAKILL for the first time, this game means a lot to me, i know every single pixel of it by heart, every mechanic, every enemy spawn every note in the soundtrack. Getting to see someone fight V2 or Gabriel ans getting excited at environmental details like the Corpse of Minos watching over Lust just reminds me of how ridiculously i love the game.
Watching this video was so much fun, thanks for giving it a shot

It's always hilarious seeing a new player play ULTRAKILL for the first time and watching them frantically figure out what the fuck is going on, even with something as simple as just three enemies appearing
It’s so hilarious how she figured out projectile boosting in prelude but thought only punching could heal her for the entire playthrough
When shen found secret level 3 and broke like a twig it made me laugh so hard.

Fun facts: Gabriel is actually an archangel and took down king Minos which appointed him as the new judge of hell, the Malicious Faces have no files in which they’re named “Maurice” so that name was given to them by the community however Cerberus does have a file given name and it is Andre. You can kill v2 before the fight starts using coin punches, eil a era slanimret eht, and you can push back projectiles with the knuckle blaster making it a bootleg parry
The fact that she defeated Minos without the punch parry is impressive

I went through the entire game (on standard) without parrying even once because I didn't read the tool tip and thought parrying was mid 💀

If you like this game, Shen, I highly recommend you look up other games New Blood has made. ESPECIALLY Dusk and Amid Evil. They are easily some of the best shooters I've played in years.

If you want one more cool thing to do: If you throw a coin, then quick change to the railgun, and SHOOT THE COIN, you get a coin reflected railgun shot :) (And something even cooler may happen if you use multiple coins, too!)

One of my favorite things about this game is how accessible it is to all kinds of players. The skill floor is low, but the skill ceiling is high. Gives the game a lot of replayability!

and when i tried using the shotgun to get the virtues across the youtube bitrade destroyer tunnels, i died
instead of raising the skill ceiling to allow for more fluid combat options, hakita should raise the skill floor to demand more fluid combat options

They call the malicious face "Maurice" because of a parody of the "[Super strong character in game] VS 'maurice' (which is a ladybug in the original meme)" But they edited it so it would be the Corpse of King Minos vs Maurice (but its the malicious face) and it sorta just grew into an inside joke with the entire community, even making it featured in the game with the style meter by killing him in a certain way (I don't remember how)
