Love this tag. Thank you for tagging me. I too feel guilty for not reading enough of the books I have. Part of the reason I'm going to try not to buy any more books until I've read all the ones I already own.
I look forward to seeing your video. I'm also trying to rein in my book buying, I buy far too many books. The trouble with buying only used books is that I'm always coming across books I've never seen before and may never see again and it's hard to get out of that habit
Hi John. Sorry to hear about your injuries! I hope you are able to get back into your routine. Just be careful as you get started again. This was an interesting twist on Kevin's original tag. Thank you for tagging me. I was also tagged by James. I will get to this one soon. I enjoyed hearing your responses to the tag.
Thank you, and I'll be sure to ease back into riding the bike, I've made the mistake of pushing myself too far too fast before and I certainly don't want to do that again
Happy New Years John! Really glad you did the tag from James. Really enjoyed your answers, as you read a very diverse collection, AND you always provide great honest insight! I have The Strain trilogy and want to vet to it this year! Have a great weekend John!
Thank you. I also did your New Year New Me tag right after I did this one, it should post on Tuesday. Don't let my feelings about The Strain get you down, it's pretty good, it just didn't work for me - I may read the sequels one of these days just to see where the plot goes
Thanks for doing my humble tag! I think Nero Wolfe's assistant was Archie Goodman or something similar. There was a TV series made of them in the 1980s for probably one season. I was fascinated as a kid by this fat guy solving mysteries without leaving his house
Thanks for tagging me, I enjoyed this one. I haven't seen the series from the 80s, I'll have to check it out. I've sometimes wondered how Rex Stout came up with Nero Wolfe, he's such a unique character
Very thoughtful answers. Enjoyed this quite a lot. I admittedly haven't read many vampire novels for comparison, but have you read the SF novel "Blindsight" by Peter Watts? It's a fascinating book for several reasons, but it just so happens to include the most interesting take on "vampirism" I've ever read. Thanks for the tag. It might take me a little while, but I'll get to it. 😊 All the best with the exercise/injury recovery!
Thank you, and take all the time you need, no pressure. Peter Watts did a great job with the vampire in Blindsight, and I like how his background in biology influences his fiction. I liked the way he treated vampires as a biological offshoot of the human species rather than as a disease or as a supernatural creature. Blindsight is one of those books that sounds so strange if you try to explain it to someone, but it makes perfect sense when you read it, and I want to reread it one of these days.
Great answers, John! And thank you so much for the tag - I very much appreciate it. I have got some to get through. so I better get on to them. Cheers!
Thanks for the tag! I've got this recorded and scheduled!
Thanks for tagging me, I'll get something out soon.
Amendment-- it seems the NW tv series is all on UA-cam! And the guy was Goodwin, not Goodman.

Thank you! Take your time - I'm about three months behind on tags, so I certainly understand
