Use spray lubricant every 3 seconds while doing those cuts. You'll cool and lube the blade and it cuts twice as fast and increases the lifespan of the blade
Are you sure about that intermittent lube advice? They seem to be doing crazy new things with carbide these days, but about 20 years ago I was told that in machinng steel with carbide cutters, you should either run them under continuous cooling, or none at all. Theory was that the thermal shock of occasional quenching would shatter the ceramic. But then again, there was nothing that would perform like this sucker back then either... Anyone out there have an authoratative answer on this?
@@markmarkw1919 I have done no peer reviewed tests. All I know if my experience cutting 4 inch metal stacks in basements and cutting old radiators to be removed. Lots of thick metal. Trial and error. The cuts I made with spray lube went infinitely faster. I suppose you can try it yourself. It doesn't take much to try
Let me tell you why our man Clint is my hero! I just came back looking for this video, and see that it was three months ago when I was here before (I have a 3 month old comment below it). You see, I am a guy who is finishing up remodeling a distressed foreclosure he bought about 13 years ago. I was a grease monkey in the military, and then a mortgage broker by trade after I got out and went to college. I am NO pro. Honestly, before I bought this old house, I was WAY better under the hoods of my cars than I was inside of the walls of my house. But, over 13 years of doing things, doing mist things twice and doing some things three times, I have developed some serious home repair skills. These 13 years have also taught me that, with a 60 year old house, if I haven't had t learn it yet...I will have to learn it some time. That's part of why I watch these videos...to learn, constantly, about what tools are available out there and what they do, without the benefit of being out working in the trades every day. Three months ago, I aw this video. Three months ago, I made the funny comment below using the old Ginsu knife commercial. Three months aao, I saw these sawzall blades and thought "self, you handsome devil...there s no DOUBT something will come up later where these blades will be useful." Three months ago, I bought these blades and laid them in my sawzall case. Yesterday, I was putting new insulation under the house and found out I have a leaking drain line beneath my toilet. That line is copper. I have to cut out a section of that pipe ad repair it. But how? Haha Today, I was watching a plumber fix a problem just like mine on UA-cam and wouldn't you know it, he was using a Sawzall with these Milwaukee Torch blades. "Self, you handsome devil, you HAVE those blades in your Sawzall case, because Clint showed them to you a while back." Clint...you ARE the man!
I bought one of these blades at my local hardware store for $17 wasn't too happy about the price I recycle vehicles and I was able to cut off six catalytic converter's and cut 17 tires off of aluminum rims and the blade still cuts like brand new I ran out of tires
I think there pretty good blades I have had the same issue with getting them in and out of the saw I'm drawn told diablo blades more though I have a crap ton of Milwaukee blades all different sizes and styles and I do like these new blades they work very well
You know they have a specially-made jacket for people like you it's white has some buckles on the back sometimes there's a lot of buckles I could get you one brother your great lol
@@ToolReviewZone yes to sleeves cross over each other and they have really nice belt buckles that strap in the back they're really nice looking I promise you're the best
cuttin that yella pipe reminded me of movie 1967 Cool Hand Luke, cuttin parkin meter heads off with a pipe cutter. Imagine if he had one of these..hmm....very interestin..good ideas here
Speed is to fast.. Use ur dial to hone in on good lower speed. I set the supersawzall on speed 2 when I cut metal. Stretches the blade life tremendously.. Also keeps the teeth on the blade..
Question: after cutting so many things, if you were looking to protect your catalytic converter, what grade & thickness of steel is the hardest to cut through, to at least slow them down enough? I'm looking to create a barrier to thieves ...
They cut really nice ??? I'm having a problem with my Milwaukee M18 brushless fuel ripsaw I'm getting a little bit of a delay when I hit the trigger I think I might have pushed it too hard maybe Im burn it out what do u think
Wow, that doesn't sound good. They usually put a safety mode on them so that won't happen. How long have you had it? They are pretty good on their warranty.
@@ToolReviewZone I have to look I still have the box with the receipt in my garage I try to save all the boxes with the receipts in them just for this reason possibly a year and a half Old Maybe but I have the regular Milwaukee Sawzall M18 brushless fuel and it works fine the ripsaw I hit the trigger and it's just a second or two delay I got to bring it to Milwaukee
Wish I was able to put the happy fun enthusiastic jokes and skits that you do in my own videos I seem to struggle with the joking while recording all my videos are just informative and serious maybe some day I can put funny skits in mine like you do with your videos seems hard for me thanks for the laughs and entertainment Clint Brother You Rock 🎸
Yo TRZ!! Haven't used them yet but will be adding to the arsenal real soon. Actually had the in my hand at the depot, then pit them back cause I was unsure of the performance. Great vid my man and I hope all is well. Stay safe through this craziness brother!!
Yeah. Milwaukee Torch blades fucking rock! But for the expense, I can think of several ways to cut metal better/cheaper than a recip saw. There are times when you need to use this approach. Just don’t make it your go to.
What's up brother how is everything going I've been watching a few channels and leaving comments to go to your Channel because you're donating a flag that you made by hand to the highest bidder all the money goes to no kid goes hungry last time I checked babies up to $275 and we need to get the bid higher hope everything is all good brother👊👊🇺🇸👍
Do yourself a favor, get a grinder and some cut off wheels. I tried one of these on a 12" mobile home I Beam. Grinder and cut off wheel did the job in less than a minute. Tried the Carbide tipped blades took FIVE MINUTES TO GO 1/4" INCH. 20 Dollar lesson in stupidity on my part. 50 years welding experience. Too lazy to drag out the 100ft extension cord. These ads are showing really soft steel.
After watching several cuts and you having trouble keeping the material clamped, I discovered your problem. You were cutting on the wrong end of the table. Switch ends next time 🦧 Oh and don't have as much hanging off the table.🤔
O-H-I-O!!!! A lot of the pipes they use in sprinkler systems in big buildings are made of cast iron, I'm sure those guys will love these blades.
I watched just because I like watching sawsall’s cut shit up. It’s relaxing.

Blades are silly expensive! Thanks for showing first hand what I'm buying. Great video!

i have used it to cut a cast iron tub worked great. Great info
Wish I would have had these when I remodeled my last house. Took a sledgehammer to mine
Blades look good but so are Bosch and also quite a bit cheaper in the uk, thanks for the video dude

10 out of 10 recommend it to everyone and anyone
What if the pipe has concrete poured into it? You think the blade would handle that ok?
Negative. Need a masonry blade with water cooling
I think there pretty good blades I have had the same issue with getting them in and out of the saw I'm drawn told diablo blades more though I have a crap ton of Milwaukee blades all different sizes and styles and I do like these new blades they work very well
The new milwaukee nitrus blades against the new diablo black diamond blades head to head would be a cool bideo
The Diablo 6” thick metal carbide tip is the best sawzall blade I’ve used to date

How many inches of 1/4 inch steel can one blade cut? Lennox usually only last me about 20 inches beforei gotta switch

Tape a job application to it.
My question is, how do they compare to the regular torch blades and the Diablo comparable blades?
Diablo might be slightly better.
And my bias is Milwaukee.
Used a Torch Nitrus blade to cut 1/8" stainless steel exhaust pipe like it was nothing. It would last forever compared to a Bi-Metal blade.
8:27 Gunna buy one..vertical pipe ..on a ladder...handsaw...takes bout 30min....you're doin a minute....thanks for showin
Would I be able to use this to cut through interior car frame metal?
They would do ok, but check out the amped blades in this video. That's what you want ua-cam.com/video/ikV_DWtRRNE/v-deo.html
Great video... awesome cutting, I purchased some of these today
I love my Ohio weather. If I don’t like it, I just wait 5 minutes 👍

Yeah buddy, they will take care of it for you. Of not, let me know
I have the same problem with my harbor freight sawzall.
Lol, good video. I like my mil jaw saw.
Another great review TRZ!
Thanks bro, that helped!!
do the blades come shorter than that?
I've been let down by Milwaukee blades enough to turn me into a diablo guy
Can't go wrong with Diablo broski
I've always liked the thickness of the pricier Milwaukee blades, but I also tend to purchase Diablo more than anything else.
Same here bro!!!
How does the speed +vibration compare to 1mm grinding discs!?

What saw are you using?
Call some companies and tell them you would like to review some saw horses. Problem solved!! Lol
Damn neighbors would just borrow those to bro 🤨
Love the channel
ya maybe a lil cutting oil there would help out at half inch thick square pipe
Hope you’re doing well
All is well bu. How are you doing?
Nice vid bro
Thanks Tool Hub!!!
They sure slice and dice but how are they on $$$price$$$
like a rhyme master Full lol. They are not cheap, that for sure. I put a link in the description for everyone to see the price.
Will they cut through weld?
Yes

Your awesome brother, I really appreciate that. Its now up to $315! Really means a lot that you all bid on that Joseph 👊
These blades cut stink pipe without the mess when you can't get your snapper in there 👍🏿.
Would moist lubrication help? 🤔🤔🤪🤪

Fucking hilarious lol😂
Diablo: I cut metal better then anyone else.
Me: Can you cut aluminum ?
Diablo: Am sorry, please consider buying circular saw
Me: sucker.
Was looking for tips on cutting this is an advertisement 😏
Was here to see how you used it to cut meat/bone, but didn't see any???
Yo TRZ!!!
Lmao, what's up Amos!!!! Wow that was quick bro haha
Looks like a bit of dry rot on your picnic table. Go get your saw horses back and never loan out your tools again
I’m sure the blade is decent but you’re way off on your thicknesses.

A catalytic converter stands no chance against this🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
its not the table, its the cheap-ass clamp.
I just ordered a new jaw horse. I'm pumped to get it
Nice, a great addition to the shop.
😆😂🤣
