I am Sami, a UA-camr, entrepreneur, a former 9-year Physician Assistant on a mission to start a new generation of financially literate medical providers. I make videos on my experience as a PA, an entrepreneur, an expat in Thailand. My goal is to encourage you to live outside your comfort zone. Ignore the “rules” and live a life of financial freedom and genuine happiness - whatever that may look like for you. Cheers to living unconventionally!
Saved up 150k in 15 months as a PA whose salary is est.110k before taxes ? Did your husband contribute most of it ? Also the investment properties you have I'm assuming you have a hefty mortgage on them? After the tenant rent payment, there's not much left over to live financially independent, at least till mortgage is paid.
Lost me at crypto and long distance landlording, and sounds like you are not working as a pa anymore? I figured this was a pa community for those of us in the industry when i found the channel
That’s correct! I left my 9-5 PA job in 2021 after Covid burnout! Worked as a PA for 10 years! I live in Thailand now with my kids without a “real” job lol. I create content for PAs teaching them how to become a pa millionaire within 10 years of practice. I also teach at multiple PA schools, work with AAPA and PAEA, and host my very own PA community of wealth builders 😃! Welcome to the channel! We talk all things money and medicine.
How did you automate your job?
Great question! When I say “automate” my job, I mean, I built systems in place to make my job a lot easier. For example, delegating tasks to MAs or RNs, building efficient work flow systems, tracking metrics, and improving quality control. This way, I was able to perform my job at the highest level and generate revenue for the business while my support staff takes care of everything else. By doing this, I was able to increase my value to the team and as a result, I was able to negotiate higher salaries every year! And this also allowed me to go home with enough mental bandwidth to focus on my financial independence journey- like buy rental properties after a long 12 hour shift (and put two kids to bed!). Hope that helps!
@@samingoshow you’re inspirational!
@@Whatsmynamewhocares😂 thank you!
@@samingoshow how often would you negotiate? Every year, 6 months?
I’m a PA student, can I still join the community?
Hi Caleb! We are currently only taking PAs at the moment. In the past, we have realized students may be too overwhelmed with our content and keeping up with their school work. With that said, we’d be happy to have you once you graduate Pa school! Where are you in your journey?
@@samingoshow starting clinicals year in January, but I’ve been a long time follower. We need more PAs who are interested in financial freedom and not reliant of clinical practice for the main source of income.
