I wonder what would happen if V simply runs away after the fight takes place? Like, actually staying out of Songbird's way? Might be an interesting thing to try in the next playthrough.
I already tried it, you just fail the mission locking you out of the rest of the dlc. And then reed calls you and says you'll pay for what you did (spoiler nothing happens)
i tried that, wanted to get erebus but didnt have the technical ability so i did the nearby hands gig, reed got pissed cuz i left and the quest failed, so i reloaded
This ain't even a boss fight. They just changed their names from Mantis, Heavy, Assault, Netrunner, etc. to some rando names. Besides the netrunner who used his standy+dash to get to a safe distance, the rest of the squad didnt make it 5 feet from the van before getting blended into cop smoothies.
It was so great to have a proper encounting with them. tho it’s too bad V is already way OP By the time we fight them. The only fight that somehow felt challenging was Oda’s and the big woman we fight during the vodooboys quest
I took down Max Tac without Monowire or Sandavistan, instead I used Guns and Grenades and Dashings, plus Implants that gave me huge amounts of Armor and Automatic Self Healing.
My first play of Phantom Liberty I helped songbird. I thought it was very good but I didn't think it was beyond awesome. I replayed it last week and betrayed songbird. I have to say this maxtac fight is the beginning of some of the best gaming there is. I loved this fight sooooo much. I almost wish it was unwinnable..
@@-HezSEs- getting inside the core, talking to songbird about her past, killing maxtac, man that whole storyline was perfect, i just wished v could still save so mi at the end
@@jnriqe I don't know about weaker. There's just less of them. When you get MaxTac called on you, you're dealing with regular beat cops, robots, drones, and constant backup. Here they're only in that first wave and they never get any backup.

I doubt that v can afford that. After she attacked max tac convoy that is.
you can't

honestly by this point i was so strong i dropped max tac like flies
Try to gane difficulty, pal
Hard difficulty makes them way more tanky so it is more interesting, but yeah, they couldn't do much against me
@@EKPB hard is easy, try very hard
@@jnriqelol even very hard is easy, v at the end game literally solos everything, I got bored while killing them

love the edgerunners smasher reference
I love this encounter so much, I have saves to run it repeatedly with different builds.

I did this on very hard with a build that was completely obsolete by 2.0. Let's just say that I did not have a fun time, but I muscled through it
Monowire has to be the go to weapon for super strong enemies. I finished the reaper ending just using monowire and legendary short circuit.
Nope. Katana build literally deletes enemies from the game
@@jpf7942I mean most builds do if we’re gonna be completely honest
Cooked Adam Smasher with it ok hard. Felt satisfying af. Other runs, even on normal, were far tougher because of Adam's boss upgrade

man, saving so mi the first time made me miss all these goated moments smh i hated her ending
Oh dang that’s frightening 😂. Maxtac is gonna whoop player’s butts. Yikes
I killed a max taco squad once but this might be troublr
I love this mission so much but FUCK the mission somewhat damaged
Why not?

Fuck her, she lied to me
I want to fight maxtac, but I do not want that cerberus quest...

Oh, you also had this mission bugged
What ending was this I don’t remember this mission?
This is after you choose to help Reed capture So Mi at the stadium.
This is from the Phantom Liberty DLC
you are using only the monowire? with a sandevistan???
I think he playes every build in the game and now trying useless weird things like this
How do I get this part of quest?
At a crucial moment in the DLC you are given the option to betray Songbird or not. If you betray her you will eventually reach this moment.
I bet this wouldn't be such easy on Very Hard.
It is, as long as you have a decent build, they are much weaker than regular maxtac
I used 20 reflexes and 20 bodies with 30 ram cyberdeck, took me around 10 - 15 minutes dashing around them, its pretty managable.

Is it just me or do they deactivate jumping on this mission?
This is on easy lol, I can’t blame ya maxtac are end game bosses for sure they give me a hard time lol.
Even on very hard they're not much of a challenge if you have a decent build. This squad is much weaker than you're average open world maxtac
