Did my reaper ending with pretty much same build, katana, knives and SMG. It was such an absolute fun power fantasy. Flying through the air landing knife throws, popping sandy and blending up 4 dudes in half a second. Kinda felt like the doom slayer.
i think one of the best things about this ending, is that as soon as you decide to invade Arasaka tower, you're on one life to solo the entire facility and dying gets you the end credits and calls from your chooms as if you shot yourself on the rooftop, everyone you know thinking that both paths are just pointless deaths.
The most raw part of this now is when you're going psycho and just hear V laughing hysterically as you massacre Arasaka troops/Smasher and hear their fear.
I just want to emphasize here that they had absolutely no forwarning that this was coming. And, outside the Sandy, the way everyone else was experiencing it? It took just under 5 minutes after you entered the door to puree every single thing in your way and thrash the hell out of Smasher while he was still finishing his opening taunts. 5 minutes for all of Arasaka to go from "situation normal, all clear" to completely beaten. Johnny's raid was very impressive. But someday people might forget it. No one will ever forget this one.
Other than the Panam option I loved the fact that the game literally gives you a choice to go yourself with no one except Johnny in tow and it’s just V vs arasaka and at least Johnny is fully conscious and able to see smasher go down for good
Ugh, I still think they should make smasher immune to sandevistan if only to make him stronger and get him closer to his power level in the lore. He has always been a push over in the game.
How about Justice League (film) or JoJo style moving in the slowed time as a compromise, so as to not completely make Sandy useless but also not buttfuck people who don't use Sandy?
THIS! Remember when David fought him? He has Sandevistan as well, reason why David cannot overpower him. Also he shouldn't have weak spot, the rocket launcher from his back is already a big indicator on what to target.
Adam smasher had no time to prepare for this. He was probably rushed here on urgent notice. Remember the guy has multiple bodies for whatever suits the situation

I hope I managed to get this ending, having to pick some random dialogue options instead of just being able to suicide run into Arasaka at any point, and holding Yorinobu hostage is kind of annoying. I wanted to fight my way into Dogtown too, but I eventually gave up and looked up that even if you kill everyone there you can't just go in...
You should be able to, you trigger the suicide run by waiting when given that final choice, after a bit then Johnny speaks up about going solo and gives you the option but you need a high enough affinity with him i believe

He was actively attempted to kill arasaka from the inside. then start a war with millitech and have it end quickly with arasaka toppling. He actually was outside arasaka trying to take it down Silverhand style. (ie jackies dialoge about his gang the Steel Dragons. He was literally a rockerboy until 2023. after the nuke, and seeing how little it actually did, he realized that he had to take action from the inside. He also realized that his father had the goal of using his body to become immortal. He was going to use his own engram on Yori. So his plan was to engram himself with silverhand, then storm it from the inside. This failed and he instead killed Saboru and blamed it on you. He was aware of V and Jackie due to Smasher detecting you in the begining. I.E. Yori is actually a good guy trying to long con arasaka and bring it to it's knees. he will start another corpo war to do it. but in the end, Arasaka down.

4:20 Honestly, I think you should have waited abit in this part to show where the Soldiers coming in here are just overwhelmed with fear and disbelief (and just trembling) :P
what i think don't quite add up for me in devil ending arasaka successfully allows V to keep cybernetics BUT tells that V will die in phantom liberty ending after coma v is unable to have cybernetics at all but seems to stay alive? in both cases his neural system was replaced, why in one v got to keep ability to use cybernetics and in other v didn't? so here lays my theory damage from bullet was the reason (yes sounds funny but seems about right) since how dexter landed the shot it should have passed through core of brain, and ninates changed that core, that why johnny was able to take over for a time.. arasaka simply bypassed it, but fact of extremely damanged brain persisted nusa did everything they could to fully recover V, however because of that connections for cybernetics was impossible (?) i still think vic could figure out something..
Nah, before the release of PL, cdpr did say the ending isn't much different than Devil ending. My best bet is NUSC either 1) Turn V into a sleeper agents with hidden implants and give her a permanent netrunner build like SO MI. or 2) Took out all the implants deliberately cause of the danger V poses to Myers. one way or another, the NUSC has V in their clutches with the new ending.
Wanted this ending but i did the aldecaldos route. My v has always been a nomad destined to roam the badlands with his family. Was so touching when i became a full fledged aldecaldo and got given my new nomad jacket. Way i see it V has basically always been alone ever since night city. Jackie cared too much about his fame and making it to the top which landed you being stuck with the chip. Everyone else was out to manipulate you, but when you find the nomads again they are the few characters that have a sort of family code thats actually legitamate away from all the liars and manipulators in the city. So what better send off then to storm arasaka with your peoole (who chose to fight with you themselves) and at least gain 6 months of freedom to live how you choose. Get cured properly and everyone forgets you, let johnny take over and you are resigning your own autonamy and control. Selling your soul to arasaka speaks for its self. At least if you join the nomads its open ended and at least in my playthrough v still went in to the sunset with panam and the aldecaldos to search for any new possibilities. My version of v never gives up and would rather of lived on his terms than johnnys

Or go down for all times in a glaze of glory, smellin' near like posies, 'thout seein' your thirtieth?".. this would be option number one.. so it fits.. even when it´s all too bittersweet @@andrewstanley
Johnny saying time to party like it’s 2023 while playing in 2023 is something else
Just imagine being a security guard in the tower having dinner and being informed that a cyberpycho is attacking the looby just to discover that is chick that use yo work in counter intel and and your buddies are falling dead in a blink of a eye
i tried this ending a while back and died immediately at the first guard 😂
How did you get to this point just to die there? 👀
@@TheFlyingPilgrim i tried to upload a quickhack to the first guard but it uploaded too slow
@@Stadpad the irony lmao
@@Stadpad"Alright, I'm just going to go in as a stealthy hacker like I always do." *Gets gunned down in the elevator* 😂
you need full legendary chrome and max lv to handle this ending
V is something David could never reach even in his sweetest dreams
V is the definition of "Built Different"
V has Johnny(the relic) basically making him/her immune to cyberpsychosis
I just want to emphasize here that they had absolutely no forwarning that this was coming.
And, outside the Sandy, the way everyone else was experiencing it? It took just under 5 minutes after you entered the door to puree every single thing in your way and thrash the hell out of Smasher while he was still finishing his opening taunts. 5 minutes for all of Arasaka to go from "situation normal, all clear" to completely beaten.
Johnny's raid was very impressive. But someday people might forget it. No one will ever forget this one.
Other than the Panam option I loved the fact that the game literally gives you a choice to go yourself with no one except Johnny in tow and it’s just V vs arasaka and at least Johnny is fully conscious and able to see smasher go down for good
POV: You're Anakin Skywalker upon seeing a youngling.
1:30 I bet Johnny thought "did you reqlly just throw a wrench"
My favorite ending still. Forming the friendship with Johnny and stormin saka tower is great.
@@Crustyfart123Still sucks. Oda and at least two Cyberpsychos were way more threatening. Not to mention MaxTac
@@elseggs6504 Yeah that maxtac fight at the posh store has to be the hardest fight in the game, those mofos in such a small space and with no way to los them.
Holy shit at 1:00, that relic effect, this time it's different. Usually when you get that visual effect it means that the relic is malfunctioning. But this time the sound and the visual effect are different, it feels like you finaly have syncronized perfectly with Johnny, and became one for this last one gig
Kinda got a feeling this is the canon ending, everyone lives and sets up for more tbh succeeds in making a legend, but we’re more involved in something else. Food for thought
Local cyberpsycho assaults Arasaka HQ.
I wonder what the news was really like on that day lmao
"Time to party like its 2023" is the hardest line ever
I’m glad that it’s pretty easy to make this game into “CyberGear Revengeance 2077”
I had to wait 15 minutes for Johnny to unlock this ending for me.
Weird because normally it’s only 5 minutes. I’ve done this ending a few times and it’s never been that long.
@@Nightc1tyronin maybe i'm just impatient and it felt slower than it was
Have you ever seen a walking industrial shredder? Now you have!
Literally this ^
You should be able to, you trigger the suicide run by waiting when given that final choice, after a bit then Johnny speaks up about going solo and gives you the option but you need a high enough affinity with him i believe
@@joaquimcallahan5274 according to the wiki you need to say 3 specific lines, and then they changed the waiting to something else in 2.0, but this whole method is just kind of dumb, and really wish they had made the secret less of a secret...
You need to pick the right dialogue during the "Chippin In" quest
also why hold yori hostage? my mans a G!

I did this ending my first PL run using projectile launch, order shotgun, rasetsu sniper and had SO much fun. technical went from being useful only for crafting to arguably the funnest attribute
this ending and giving johnny the body is definitely my favorite. im my eyes v should have died from the moment dexter shot him, and johnny saved him. plus, if johnny is going to get to use the body for longer than v, then he should be the one to keep it.
i just felt bad that all the people i had made friends with thought v was still alive when it was johnny, except for rogue who basically told johnny he manipulated v.
after nusa ending i dont think so about so called friends with V, they ditched V as soon as you`re at your lowest
@nineball8193 you disappear for 2 years. They thought you ditched them first
@@nineball8193 in the nusa ending V ends up in a coma for 2 whole years most people would assume you probably died after a while and never hearing from V
Hell yeah. Nice job! This is my preferred ending too.
This is what the canon street kid ending should be
Damn that shit was clean
When you really think about it, imagine how terrifying it would be to face V. You and 6 others are each sliced a half dozen times by a katana before you can even react. Just blood mist and a trail of body parts let's you know which direction V travels
YOU JUST DISCOVERED WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME A LEGEND
4:20 Honestly, I think you should have waited abit in this part to show where the Soldiers coming in here are just overwhelmed with fear and disbelief (and just trembling) :P
damn good run, and fun to watch too!
Not fighting for just yourself. But also for Johnny, Alt, and David. Everyone Arasaka either killed or is responsible for killing
Time to party like it is 2023
“Huh you just discovered what it takes to become a legend” something bout hits different coming from keanu
what i think don't quite add up for me
in devil ending arasaka successfully allows V to keep cybernetics BUT tells that V will die
in phantom liberty ending after coma v is unable to have cybernetics at all but seems to stay alive?
in both cases his neural system was replaced, why in one v got to keep ability to use cybernetics and in other v didn't?
so here lays my theory
damage from bullet was the reason (yes sounds funny but seems about right) since how dexter landed the shot it should have passed through core of brain, and ninates changed that core, that why johnny was able to take over for a time..
arasaka simply bypassed it, but fact of extremely damanged brain persisted
nusa did everything they could to fully recover V, however because of that connections for cybernetics was impossible (?)
i still think vic could figure out something..
Bro you chopin in
Byakko, Agaou, and Projectile Launcher? I see you’re a man of culture as well
Wanted this ending but i did the aldecaldos route.
Doing this with the new level cap is so much more fun
The challenge of the previous update made the ending just that much more special though
@@dpsknight4512 u must've had a bad build cause there was almost no challenge at all at this point in the game in the previous updates, 2.0's way harder imo they still hit like a truck on very hard and can easily fuck you up unless you're jusdt running like a 24/7 sandevistan
@@Ramikadi agree, the overhaul to combat made the game way harder. The only reason this was a little easy is because of the sandy without it they would melt me before I could get to them
@@ParadoxEnforcer yee lmao sandy makes everything a breeze, its still fun to play with though. i usually use berserker so i can have it for those "oh fuck if i dont pop im dead" moments to save myself but still keep it pretty hard if i fuck up
Brodie it isn't that deep@@Ramikad
Its sad that other than this and the phantom liberty ending there really are no more challenging battles late game. Nothing to really test you and let you really let loose.
you deserve to rest the game if you beat this ending in my opinion. you can't get stronger than that.
That's crazy, this is essentially my build and I'm trying to beat it rn.
ahh the best ending of cyberpunk 2077
I love this simple front entrance. Pure gigachad
Except that...
You treated Adam Smasher like a little bitch.
That’s beyond gigachad though. Adam Smasher faced Adam Smasher 2.0
when Johnny says time to party, I pop sandy and just fucking go
respect for doing this on a controller, I tried playing on my steam deck and I could not aim to save my life
What's the cyberware build you are using here? Looks op with how you can still boost forward mid sandevistan.
v biblically canonical
You know the Rules of Nature, I see.
That one guy, "Why the hell are you here beatch!?" What he got is personal! 🤣
When I played this part as a Netrunner, I walked in hacking the very first dude, turned him Cyberpsycho and we both started fighting the others while I'm just walking straight like a hacking goddes! 🤣
bro I gota say dude when you pulled out that wrench I was fuckin dying laughing for a hot minute. As a dude who usually sees my malorian arms come out when i enter that building idk why but that shit got me gooood. Good stuff choom.
johnny: time to party like its 2023
me: but it is 2023!
This is like the independent ending of New Vegas for me or the destroy ending of Mass Effect 3. I go into every playthrough promising myself I wont do the exact same ending, then I always end up doing the exact same ending and enjoying just as much as I did before.
"Let's party like it's 2023!"
This and the sewycide ending is perfect
"If I gotta die, rather fall into my grave gun in hand and on fire"
Best ending no doubt
NGL The fact YT Defaults on 480p and seeing the actual latency glitches with the low quality go in and out of the wild gameplay makes me really kinda feel like I'm watching your V's BD moment of glory
Feels like I'm gonna get cyber pschosis just by watching this video.
First time i finished my game i did this ending using only a malorian lmao
I find it super funny that you miss your throwing knives and you're like that's fine they're dead anyway.
The only thing that would make the suicide run more epic is if you had to drive to Saka Tower and the radio comes on and it's playing Choke Hold on the ride over.
Great work man! Not easy
Thanks a lot!
It's 2023. Let's Party
how do i get the dont fear reaper ending to work? i did the dialogue options with johnny for it. is it because i skipped to phantom liberty at the start?
You slice up smasher & those other guys still give it a go. 😅
The John Wick ending
"Time to party like its 2023" the last year was boring af
I enjoy the endings, but I would have loved an ending where Johnny will remain with us in our mind, like why not?
the only ending I need.
Can’t fucking wait choom, I’m coming for Arasaka tower myself
"time to party like it's 2023"
Do you still have to give Johnny those very specific, schizophrenic and incoherent lines of dialogue in front of his tomb or can you get this ending normally now?
Playing Dont Fear The Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult while watching this and it just hits different
My head canon is this is the true ending *but then* V disappears with Panam and the nomads as a legend of night city living the rest of his days in quiet infamy
"Lets party like its 2023!"
If you do this run yourself for Smasher I recommend switching from Byakko over to GwynBleid for the Smasher fight for Its bonus damage aginst bosses and then back to Byakko for mobbing
This V makes Adam smasher flinch
Game gives you so much tools that makes you god like that it difficulty wise I ended up dissapointed, on the otherhand u do feel like a bad ass in my case cooking adam smasher with daemons lol
This is the canon ending for me.
