I'm so glad they did this amazing rework of the skill trees, now you can actually create builds where it feels like the anime and you're the cyberpsycho, mixed with the new police and how hard maxtac are to beat on very hard it creates this fun little gameplay loop where you can try your build and see how it performs when pushed to the max

Cops will only go after you if it's worth it. If you're held by a hostile gang who's in the cops pockets then you're as good as dead. Most times they won't even investigate your murder. You'd be better off just paying for a platinum trauma membership as they will arrive on location and kill anybody in their way to get to you.

That mid air dash really gives you that sensation of speed that was missing in the original game, looks quite nice. I have installed 2.0 and I’m gonna try it when I have the chance. Nice vid as always!
It was "kinda" already in the game, dash mid air implant + double jump + timing you could get some insane momentum(combo this with some knockback on you). But now there is the Dash(Dodge upgrade) and mid air dash is a perk and god CROUCH RUNNING

By definition, you kinda are going cyberpsycho here. Cyberpsychos tend to disregard human life as they put more and more augmentation on themselves. Being bored or losing yourself in the fun of cutting down weaker humans is pretty typical cyberpsycho behaviour.

Fighting the cops now is actually fun, lol. They can actually overwhelm you if you aren't careful and on very hard, they will throw grenades at you like it's nobodies business, lol. Really enjoying the update so far.

Generally this update is a huge W imo for everything that got improved and reworked
Imagine if we got a 6th or 7th star wanted level where it's mainly just maxtac and militech/arasaka attacking you with rare guns that break once you kill the special unit that held the weapon
It's difficult to get 5 star and get away. Once it's 5 star, maxtac will find you wherever you are. This guy managed to survive this long with his skills. Maxtac can end you in few bullets which is why he started hitting them the moment they landed.

Self-ICE is highly recommended if you fight MaxTac to give breathing room between fights because if they start quick hacking Imminent System Collapse you have very little time to decide whether to engage the netrunner and kill them (and if you don't in time...bye bye...) or flee the area as fast as possible and hope it fails in time. And this isn't considering the fact that they WILL continue shutting down every vehicle you enter eventually and drop on top of you. They're a legitimate threat and you can't play like an idiot against them now. You make a stupid mistake you will get roasted for it.
That Katana is the Byakko (ironic name using the white tiger motif on a black and gold sword) Katana has a leaping perk(like the mantis blade leap) The speed is a new finisher perk, which gives you boosted attack speed after a finisher
It’s insane just how good things that were kinda shitty in 1.0 are now. Beserk is probably the funnest cyberware now and the melee combat is just next level fun and adrenaline pumping especially on higher difficulties.

I'm currently doing a build for blades but mainly a katana build and I'm having blast rn. I'm not even done with my build yet I'm still leveling up but it's so fun to just hop around dashing all over the place and slashing mfs up like a maniac. I'm gonna max out reflexes so I can do air dashes and to get some of the perks for blades but idk what I should invest in after that. The builds in 2.0 tho are actually the best. This is easily the best cyberpunk has ever been and I really hope they just keep adding more cool stuff like this.

I like that MaxTac has been elevated with this. They used to just spawn in as nothing more than beefed up cops but now they’ve got a whole squad dynamic going with different specializations and will still absolute fuck you up.
when playing around with the builds i have noticed that the scalper is probably the best katana when you are running sandevistan it overall deals more damage than the one from wakako and has higher cirt chance/damage (i dont remember which one it was at this point) but that only applies when you are in sandevistan
It's a shame enemy sandevistans can't activate theirs to match you, just awkwardly skip around. Anyway, I'm finding myself that asking the question "what kind of psycho you want to be" is quite effective in terms of build planning.
So they can activate theirs, but I certainly agree that it could use some tuning. Most of the time when the enemy activates theirs, they don't do anything crazy with it. They'll just walk around like normal or take cover or whatever. I really wish other sandevistan users would be as fast and ferocious as V
@@thebondofunity there's a mod that does that, called Time Dilation Overhaul. If their sandevistan is better then they'll move faster than you while you're in sandy mode and vice versa and probably the same speed as you if on the same level. I haven't tested the mod myself as I don't really go guns blazing carnage much (I prefer ghost).
I feel that the Maxtac Sniper and Netrunner operators should stay on the AV. And they should bring more than 5 after you wipe out a squad (e.g. +1 every time you wipe a maxtac squad). But nice build.

Very general but he is using the byako, an iconic katana that you get after finishing all of wakako’s gigs, a sandesvistan, best to use the militech apogee and most likely has twenty in both reflexes and tech with fifteen in body as he has the adrenaline perks unlocked in the body tree fury from tech and most likely all the blade perks
20 body: take all the middle perks that are about hp/adrenalin 20 reflexes: take all the blade & dash perks 20 technician: take all the cyberware perks and take some of the perks at the left that improve your health items. As for cyberware go full on borg. Fill every slot as that gives you bonuses with some of the technican perks
As someone who bought this game at launch and beat it, through bluescreens and all, I must say this is awesome. The combat totally feels like Cyperpunk 2077: Edgerunners. This is what we should have gotten on day one! 😀

I've been tip-toeing through youtube lore videos and you just made me realize 2077 has main character syndrome. It's kinda non-canon. Blackhand is literally Pondsmith's main and even that character, the hero of heroes, is **maybe** alive and equal to Smasher - the villain of villains. Edgerunners is maybe cannon cuz when Smasher shows up it puts shit in perspective. Same thing that happened to Silverhand. @@shotgunammo Blackhand isn't supposed to beat Smasher. Smasher isn't supposed to beat Morgan. It's like mythology. They're the forces of good and evil doing battle until Ragnarok or something. They're both supposed to mop the floor with everyone and everything else. Everyone and everything other than Blackhand/Smasher is supposed to get wrecked my Maxtac. I imagine that's exactly the point of Edgerunners - to show how small everyone else really is in the grand scheme of things. It's just not a very good single player RPG if you don't get to be the biggest and the baddest.
I like if there's a new reputation system ,whether if Vi kills this much cops ,some people will be scared of her ,or saying "that's the cop-killer girl!" Or something. Same way will happen as the number of Enemy or civilian npcs she's killed.
Events like this are considered non cannon because it wouldnt make sense, V couldnt survive this as no one could. The NCPD and even corps would lock down the entire city and hunt them down until they were inevitably killed. Someone who just goes an massacres a bunch of people especially cops like this would be hunted down to the ends of the Earth and made an example out of to discourage it from ever happening again. Authority cannot afford to allow things to exist that undermine the illusion of their control and power.
A cool path would've been to take on a certain amount of Max-Tac and end up being recruited and end the game down a seperate storyline as soemone with access to Maxtac gear.
Entering cyberpsycho should have a random trigger where you automatically auto target anyone. That would be awesome. A thing where you're now not in full control of your character xD
@@foxthroat3410 it wouldn't work as they would have to completely rework the games code, it would not be fun at all, there are multiple cyberpsychosis mods, but none of them do what you want because it's virtually impossible and that would mean they would have to implement an AI to take over your character for a brief moment and potentially breaking your game or potentially damaging it to the point you have to do a clean reinstall
There should be an achievement for surviving 5 Star for for how many amount of minutes or maybe how many cops killed in 5 star. It sounds like it would be a fun thing to do when you just wanna make havoc.

Jeez! Got to admit that build looks super fun! I only got 3/4 the way through the game before the update dropped. Was going netrunner with shotgun and sword/mantis blades but skill rework screwed it lol so I switched to running a sandy, is the mk4 from fingers still the best for this kinda build?
they have to add an almost undefeatable boss at the end like smasher but waaaay stronger to make it serious and after that just make the stars disappear if u beat him..
@@nobodyxdel2390 it's not a mod nor edited. If you're using the 'Edgerunner' perk from the Tech tree theres a small chance you enter a Fury state when in combat. While you're in that state you'll hear V laughing like a psycho in the background
@@Kusabiii the fury mode is just the cherry on top. the real usefulness is the 50 extra cyberware capacity. still, for a max of 5%, the fury mode activates quite often on my playthrough, lol.
Starfield is mid at best anyways. Wasn't bound to make anything game changing that hasn't been done before, and it still did a lot worse than other games has before.
Imagine if there was an option to amp the difficulty higher in the settings menu called "Cyber Psycho", on this difficulty after defeating the first Maxtac squad the game starts slowly replacing NCPD spawns with MaxTac spawns until all your facing is MaxTac NPCs. At full MaxTac threshold the city at that point would stop spawning civvies because everyone is told to hide in the nearest safe shelter until your contained (this also means that any doors that lead to any inside areas would be shut and locked, preventing V from entering buildings). This could turn the game into a survival mode type mechanic, where now your just seeing how long you can last against endless waves of MaxTac agents and integrate an online scoring system that posts your how long you survived until you were terminated. This mode would also ramp up NPC damage and health.
Did not to expect to enjoy and like cyberpunk this much lol 2.0 update came through frfr, glad I gave this game another shot like fat cry 6, ac valhalla, biomutant
Guns don't scale very well on very hard in the 2.0 update. I would often run our of bullets before I can kill enemies with them. But V's meat fists can splatter multiple groups of people even on very hard.
@@babyyyz7948 Looks like a sandevistan build. Only the max tac have skulls on them because they're akways very hard. You'll never kill those with guns. You could probably kill 1 but you'll be out of ammo for the second enemy. So the player used katanas on them. On very hard, even with just meat fists, you can slam skulled enemies and it'll insta kill one or two if they're bunched togethet and if they're alive, its enough to savage sling them into each other. Instant death.
Doing the "Don't fear the Reaper" while being slightly underleveled (I'm 40 and enemies are 50), the only effective weapon I have is the Comrade's hammer. Using guns requires me to empty the magazine to kill a single target, and using melee weapons only allows me to kill one or two during each Sandy activation.
It feels a bit like Doom Eternal fight. It is not bad thing, just impressive. It was to the point when he jumped away from maxtac at 1:22, I thought that he gonna chainsaw minor enemy to get ammo back xD It looks so freaking awesome.
Do correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't max tac supposed to have sandevistan installed? If so, it would be great if they made it so NPC's that has the sandevistan implant installed, whenever you use it they'll just move at normal speed to make it cool and balanced. Would really make Adam Smasher a much better threat.
So far as I'm aware, that's the case in 2.0 - if you activate Sandevistan and another enemy has it and are using it, they still attack and move at normal speed while everyone else is slowed. (At the very least, I remember seeing a 2.0 clip to that effect a couple of days ago.)
@@HackerArmy03 i just tried it and you can immediately see them suddenly moving almost as fast or as fast as you (apogee, which is davids sandy, is still the fastest (85% slowed down time) and they arent as fast as you), thats really cool. TDO (sandy mod on nexus) did it and CDPR took notes it seems. :D

Can someone tell me how to achieve such speed with melee strikes? I know there is one cyberware (micro rotors if I recall correctly), which helps with it, but they don’t speed up the hits as much as in the video
Incredibly late but it's what's known as the fury state. It's unlocked in the technical ability perk tree. The legendary perk known as edgerunner (need maxed out 20 tech for it), allows you to go 50 points beyond your normal cyberware capacity at a cost. Your max HP is reduced by 0.5% for every point you go above your previous maximum cyberware. Also for every point above your capacity, you have a 0.1% chance to enter the fury state. Apart from some buffs I can't remember right now, V is basically on the edge of cyberpsychosis.hence the maniacal laughter. Hope that helped.

Fun fact, since MaxTac arrives in AVs, they won't spawn if you're under enough cover. The glass ceiling in corpo plaza, for example.

I like that MaxTac has been elevated with this. They used to just spawn in as nothing more than beefed up cops but now they’ve got a whole squad dynamic going with different specializations and will still absolute fuck you up.
when playing around with the builds i have noticed that the scalper is probably the best katana when you are running sandevistan it overall deals more damage than the one from wakako and has higher cirt chance/damage (i dont remember which one it was at this point) but that only applies when you are in sandevistan

Anyway, I'm finding myself that asking the question "what kind of psycho you want to be" is quite effective in terms of build planning.
I wanted to be that one from the construction yard with the Shield and big Lazer gun but that really isn't an option I think
So they can activate theirs, but I certainly agree that it could use some tuning. Most of the time when the enemy activates theirs, they don't do anything crazy with it. They'll just walk around like normal or take cover or whatever. I really wish other sandevistan users would be as fast and ferocious as V
@@thebondofunity there's a mod that does that, called Time Dilation Overhaul. If their sandevistan is better then they'll move faster than you while you're in sandy mode and vice versa and probably the same speed as you if on the same level. I haven't tested the mod myself as I don't really go guns blazing carnage much (I prefer ghost).

I feel that the Maxtac Sniper and Netrunner operators should stay on the AV. And they should bring more than 5 after you wipe out a squad (e.g. +1 every time you wipe a maxtac squad). But nice build.
Or just add antipersonnel mine launchers on AV, that can clear out the landing zone before the squad drops from AV.

Very general but he is using the byako, an iconic katana that you get after finishing all of wakako’s gigs, a sandesvistan, best to use the militech apogee and most likely has twenty in both reflexes and tech with fifteen in body as he has the adrenaline perks unlocked in the body tree fury from tech and most likely all the blade perks

This is deadass a shit ton of armor cyberware, the entire reflexes skill tree, and the adrenaline rush tree in body
20 body: take all the middle perks that are about hp/adrenalin
20 reflexes: take all the blade & dash perks
20 technician: take all the cyberware perks and take some of the perks at the left that improve your health items.
As for cyberware go full on borg. Fill every slot as that gives you bonuses with some of the technican perks

I've been tip-toeing through youtube lore videos and you just made me realize 2077 has main character syndrome. It's kinda non-canon. Blackhand is literally Pondsmith's main and even that character, the hero of heroes, is **maybe** alive and equal to Smasher - the villain of villains. Edgerunners is maybe cannon cuz when Smasher shows up it puts shit in perspective. Same thing that happened to Silverhand. @@shotgunammo
Blackhand isn't supposed to beat Smasher. Smasher isn't supposed to beat Morgan. It's like mythology. They're the forces of good and evil doing battle until Ragnarok or something. They're both supposed to mop the floor with everyone and everything else. Everyone and everything other than Blackhand/Smasher is supposed to get wrecked my Maxtac. I imagine that's exactly the point of Edgerunners - to show how small everyone else really is in the grand scheme of things.

I like if there's a new reputation system ,whether if Vi kills this much cops ,some people will be scared of her ,or saying "that's the cop-killer girl!" Or something. Same way will happen as the number of Enemy or civilian npcs she's killed.
Events like this are considered non cannon because it wouldnt make sense, V couldnt survive this as no one could. The NCPD and even corps would lock down the entire city and hunt them down until they were inevitably killed. Someone who just goes an massacres a bunch of people especially cops like this would be hunted down to the ends of the Earth and made an example out of to discourage it from ever happening again. Authority cannot afford to allow things to exist that undermine the illusion of their control and power.
A cool path would've been to take on a certain amount of Max-Tac and end up being recruited and end the game down a seperate storyline as soemone with access to Maxtac gear.
V would just die in a while if he was recruited, what's the point?

@@foxthroat3410 it wouldn't work as they would have to completely rework the games code, it would not be fun at all, there are multiple cyberpsychosis mods, but none of them do what you want because it's virtually impossible and that would mean they would have to implement an AI to take over your character for a brief moment and potentially breaking your game or potentially damaging it to the point you have to do a clean reinstall

Jeez! Got to admit that build looks super fun! I only got 3/4 the way through the game before the update dropped. Was going netrunner with shotgun and sword/mantis blades but skill rework screwed it lol so I switched to running a sandy, is the mk4 from fingers still the best for this kinda build?

@@nobodyxdel2390 it's not a mod nor edited. If you're using the 'Edgerunner' perk from the Tech tree theres a small chance you enter a Fury state when in combat. While you're in that state you'll hear V laughing like a psycho in the background
@@Kusabiii the fury mode is just the cherry on top. the real usefulness is the 50 extra cyberware capacity. still, for a max of 5%, the fury mode activates quite often on my playthrough, lol.

Imagine if there was an option to amp the difficulty higher in the settings menu called "Cyber Psycho", on this difficulty after defeating the first Maxtac squad the game starts slowly replacing NCPD spawns with MaxTac spawns until all your facing is MaxTac NPCs. At full MaxTac threshold the city at that point would stop spawning civvies because everyone is told to hide in the nearest safe shelter until your contained (this also means that any doors that lead to any inside areas would be shut and locked, preventing V from entering buildings). This could turn the game into a survival mode type mechanic, where now your just seeing how long you can last against endless waves of MaxTac agents and integrate an online scoring system that posts your how long you survived until you were terminated. This mode would also ramp up NPC damage and health.

What kind of cybeware do you use for increase your katana attack velocity?
Guns don't scale very well on very hard in the 2.0 update. I would often run our of bullets before I can kill enemies with them. But V's meat fists can splatter multiple groups of people even on very hard.

@@babyyyz7948 Looks like a sandevistan build. Only the max tac have skulls on them because they're akways very hard. You'll never kill those with guns. You could probably kill 1 but you'll be out of ammo for the second enemy. So the player used katanas on them.
On very hard, even with just meat fists, you can slam skulled enemies and it'll insta kill one or two if they're bunched togethet and if they're alive, its enough to savage sling them into each other. Instant death.
Doing the "Don't fear the Reaper" while being slightly underleveled (I'm 40 and enemies are 50), the only effective weapon I have is the Comrade's hammer. Using guns requires me to empty the magazine to kill a single target, and using melee weapons only allows me to kill one or two during each Sandy activation.
SMGs and Assault Rifles are kind of trash in 2.0, Pistols are pretty OP even in VH

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't max tac supposed to have sandevistan installed? If so, it would be great if they made it so NPC's that has the sandevistan implant installed, whenever you use it they'll just move at normal speed to make it cool and balanced. Would really make Adam Smasher a much better threat.

So far as I'm aware, that's the case in 2.0 - if you activate Sandevistan and another enemy has it and are using it, they still attack and move at normal speed while everyone else is slowed. (At the very least, I remember seeing a 2.0 clip to that effect a couple of days ago.)

TDO (sandy mod on nexus) did it and CDPR took notes it seems. :D

Incredibly late but it's what's known as the fury state. It's unlocked in the technical ability perk tree. The legendary perk known as edgerunner (need maxed out 20 tech for it), allows you to go 50 points beyond your normal cyberware capacity at a cost. Your max HP is reduced by 0.5% for every point you go above your previous maximum cyberware. Also for every point above your capacity, you have a 0.1% chance to enter the fury state. Apart from some buffs I can't remember right now, V is basically on the edge of cyberpsychosis.hence the maniacal laughter.
