I've had success cleaning linings of purses by coating in upholstery cleaner foam and wiping with wet rag. Sometimes it takes a few rounds

Hi Lori! SAS stands for San Antonio Shoemakers and can be worth the pick up. A reseller/YT here in the Dayton area, buys the and sells them all the time. I think they’re a staple in every nursing home/older person’s closet. 😁 Lumpy is darling!

Glad you are finding bins in NH. I live in NH and am an hour to two hours from any goodwill. A great haul it seems for you all. The saying team work makes the dream work is a true statement with all you friends and resellers working and sharing with each other so you all leave the store happy.
Columbia jackets do okay for me- i like the vintage color block ones best to sell, they move quickly in great condition!
Oh Lori, I've been there. Lost a Chanel ballet flat to the sweetest woman at the bins, first time I've ever done a coin toss! I just feel like it's a deposit in the sourcing karma bank, haha!

dang I need to watch and follow you two at the bins one time to see how you do it ... I never find anything good at the hudson NH bin even when I spend hours there . Of course I never make it first thing because I can not leave until everyone is fed here and it is about an hour drive for me down rte 102 which is a pretty slow road

Congrats on getting back out to the bins. I still have yet to visit the ones near me in Oakland or Salinas lol. Kim is such a great friend. Wish she had a channel we could go over and support. And oh my that Lumpy... he is an active one. Reminds me of when my children were starting to crawl and they just could not stay put. Cracked me up how many times he tried to take a bite at you. Sweet little puppy!

Hey Lori! I luv Lumpy! I just want to say that when my most recent rotty was a puppy I would use one of those baby wraps (the big blanket ones that u fold a specific way to hold the baby on ur body) and he loved it! I loved it too, he would sleep so sound! I would specifically do it when I was in the car driving (when he was really little) and we got to where he would try to climb in my lap and lay on my chest even when he was waayy too big (precious boy) lol! I just luv when they're little, take advantage of it!! ❤❤❤

I miss the old formula Dr Marten's Wonder Balsam. Like you, I had a jar that lasted forever and was such a go-to for leather!! I bought a new jar in 2023 and nope. I'm on the hunt now for another brand. If you replace your jar with something that comes close I would LooOOOve to know!! I have one purchased that I'll use because I bought it, but it's just not what it used to be :(
I have picked up Toms in the past and they sit for a while, but have sold eventually...would only pick them up at the bins

Sorry you didn't get the shoes you wanted but you still got some really nice items. I sold a purple Coulumbia jacket just like the one you got. Sold mine for $23 on ebay. So hope it will sell for you too. I put in my title rain jacket cause of the material.

Hey those canvas and nylon Coach bags can go right in the washing machine. You pull the lining out so it is hanging out, spray with awesome and you will have what looks like a brand new bag and let it hang dry. If you didn’t get that Coach bag that was bad advice bc those bags are selling for good money. IJS.

you know what the bins remind me of Jordan's and Filene's Basement in Boston MA downtown crossing during the 70's and 80's . My older fashion conscious cousin took me there one time and it was a mad house ...I recall I was looking at this one shirt holding it up just really admiring the art it was of a lion and lioness when another customer grabbed it out of my hands my cousin saw what happened and grabbed it back and yelled at the woman for being a jerk . I felt obligated to buy it and only wore when my cousin was going to be around I really did not like it to wear I just liked the art LOL . Too bad Jordan's basement was still not around resellers would be making a killing there. My fashion conscious cousin would be awesome at this reselling clothing thing ... me not so much really not that fashion conscious and not hip on styles ... I wear what I like and these days just for comfort .I am so warm all the time since menopause I have not even worn a true winter coat since menopause .
Boston Filene's Basement was such an experience!! I only went a handful of times as a kid but it was amazing!
