- I found over $1,500 worth of clothes in Boston for just over $200! I went to two of my favorite thrift stores in Boston with my partner in crime, Kim! We found some amazing pieces in the city!! I hope you enjoy it!

Welcome back!! Kim and i had a blast thrifting in Boston! I was on my own at Savers and then Kim picked me up and we headed to Goodwill!! We found some incredible pieces!! What have you found lately at the thrift?
I loved that fox sweater so much that I would have definitely bought it & tried hard to get the stain out. At that low price, I wouldn't even blink at donating it if the stain couldn't be removed. Or maybe sew a little fox applique over it!
Interesting info...'Nick and Nora were named after a fictional couple created by Dashiell Hammett in his novel The Thin Man. Nick is an alcoholic private detective married to Nora, a wealthy Nob Hill heiress. The film portrays the glamorous couple enjoying 1930's cocktail culture'.

Maybe for happy hauladays you could do mystery boxes and pick 3 items you already have in inventory or unlisted and try to source 2 items to round out the mystery box, that way there's a sneak peek of what you sourced, but still a few items will be moving from your closet! Or you could approach it from the haul side and then round it out with items from inventory you are ready to move on! Would be good for the Friday video. XO Great Haul Lori!
Great haul and Lumpy is hilarious ❤ Girl yolo, eat the cake and rock those pj bottoms! Im sure my neighbors must think Im off my rocker with what I wear outside sometimes. 😂 I'm 51 and just dont care anymore, I wear what I like, even if I look a little whacky 😂😅
Happy haul-idays idea: Purge some of your Christmas decor, slow fashion Friday style! Also, do a New Year's Eve Pop Up collection...some current closet things, some thrifted for just that purpose! Hugs!
I've sold the Athleta Double Cozy hoodie jacket and it did really well, can confirm it's super soft and luxurious feeling! I love finding Nick & Nora printed PJ sets, they do great for me new or preowned.
I'm just sick over that Talbots seersucker blazer. It's adorable. Not my size, but adorable!! And that clutch - amazing.
It was really nice! The comps just weren't there... And oh that clutch!! It is gorgeous!
Whiting & Davis is not made of sequins or crystals. It's their signature metal mesh. Nice find!
Lori, one can never have too many black sweaters, black pants, black dresses! I wear a lot of black!! Nick and Nora pjs were my favorite. I have not been able to get them anymore!! Yes, Target carried them!! I recently found a Banana Republic 100% merino wool black sweater dress at my local Salvation Army! Under 15$! Hugs from Michigan!!❤

Lumpy is the funniest! He must love all the new smells on the clothes! My dog is named Eeyore and people always ask why I named him Eeyore! it is a very similar story to yours so its hard to tell without crying. I Love watching you! I learn so much!

What a great haul! I would love to see you do a haul specifically for accessories and handbags. Some of my favorite purses have either come from Poshmark or Goodwill! Thank you so much.
That one with the tags stitched together is genius! I modify a lot of thrifted clothes and I wonder if that’s what they did. I just remove the tags and paint size on mine. Fun idea to use the labels though! I’m near you in ri :-)

I found some baby blue Democracy jeans in a very small size and they sold within a few days. Every piece I have found sells within a few days - weeks so I have picked up everything I see. I'm sure yours will go just as quick.

A shame that white sweater with the fox had a stain, loved that! Hugs and scratchies for Lumpy🐾🐾♥️. One of my favorite pair of pj's are Nick and Nora breakfast item patterned. Unfortunately they are flannel and I get too hot.
Democracy sells pretty quick for me. Depending on the style and size (usually bigger sizes sell faster), they can sell in a few weeks, sometimes just a few days! They definitely don’t sell for a lot but they flip quick.
Hi Lori! Beautiful Whiting & David Bag!! We run across these bags in New England, often. I believe many of them were originally made in RI. So Pretty!!

In my experience with vintage, a lot of old department stores would sew their own tag onto the brands’ tags, possibly meaning it was an exclusive (though someone please correct me if I’m wrong).
I remember that, also. My grandmother shopped at a very nice department store - Sibley's in Rochester, NY years ago -we're talking 50 - 55 years at least now - and that's a vivid memory of mine from those trips with my grandmother and my mom, with my mom helping her shop. LOL This was in the days before people wore the tags of their clothing on the outside of the clothing to show the brand more obviously. My grandmother dressed beautifully right up til her last day. Lovely, slender, elegant lady. But yea, I remember those double tags on many or even most of the Sibley's high end items.
Lumpy, just too too cute and a rascal. I got my Cocker puppy 2 years ago as my brother was dying, then my step mom last year, dogs are the BEST help for broken hearts, my beautiful 15 year old Cocker I had to put down in 2019, and the Pandemic, what would we without these kiddos.
It's incredible how these animals help us through a difficult time. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sending lots of love.

when ever I find the nick and nora sock monkey pajamas at the bins I scoop them up. they sell within a day or two in the early fall...odd print, but a favorite
hit send to soon..again...we have ducks and chickens, lots of them. so neighbors have seen me in a bathrobe and duck boots on more than one occasion ..in our 60s we really dont care..now that it is cold , for Florida, I generally add a beanie cap in the morning...the ducks and chickens love me anyhow
Great hauls! Re. Figs, I don't think the resale value is that high anymore, I've sold 2 NWT Tech bottoms only 25.00 plus be careful not to use stock photos, it's one of those brands.

I have sold the Ab-solution jeans many times but mostly in larger sizes. Maybe smaller sizes don't need the butt lifting and ab technology.

my neighbors have caught me in my pajamas getting the mail, getting firewood meh I do not care what they think , talk is cheap and thoughts are even cheaper. I am not going to cause my self more laundry ( which is time and money) if all I am going to be doing in the house is cleaning and cooking why bother making more laundry for myself by wearing clothes .
