First of all, the ways of access you gave from place to place, both by land and by sea, which I have not seen in any other video. Your video is amazing with the spectacular views, the delicious food of southern Italy and the easy packing of a suitcase.🏖⛱️🏝

    Thank you Mahna....your enthusiasm is infectious!!!!! Do you recommend this trip for a day tour from Rome, or not enough time? From the tours I've seen they incorporate Pompeii which because of time, I would prefer not to do and my husband has already been. If your answer is 'yes', my friend who has just been said (and I note what you have already mentioned, re the steps) she didn't think I would be able to move around Positano easily -- she is 10 years younger and a little bit fitter than what I am at time of typing..your thoughts would be appreciated :-). We will be in Italy in October to November, I'd be curious to know if you do any other videos for Rome, Florence, Lake Como, Venice & Milano 3n 4din most of the places thanks in advance ....Fran 🙂

    I am from London and have flights booked to Naples for 6 nights from Sun 2nd June until Saturday 8th June. I am going with my wife and we are young and love food, views and keen to see Pompei one day. I have a 2000 GBP budget for hotels. Where or what area would you recommend me stay at amalfi coast please? I don’t mind doing 1 or 2 nights elsewhere ravello or something to keep costs down as i know £2000 isn’t the biggest budget for hotel for 6 nights but its still fairly good

    We just got back and found it to be absolutely gorgeous! We stayed in beautiful Atrani. The only thing I would do differently is I would definitely rent a scooter. I feel like we did a lot of walking but didn't cover much ground. We did take buses to Positano and Ravello and other small villages. But every time a scooter whizzed by, I wished I had one!

    Hi Mahna! Loved this video! We are going in 2 more weeks to Amalfi and I just can’t wait! 🇮🇹❤ The only question I have is in regards to the umbrella and chair rental at the beaches. We are planning to go to Marina Grande (Amalfi town) and Spiaggia Grande (Positano), should we rent umbrella and chairs in advance? Or is not necessary? I heard you can do it in advance but I don’t find a website to do it.

      Hi hi! Welcome! That's so exciting. So I am someone who gets really bad motion sickness too, so I can definitely relate. I wear motion sickness sea bands (purchased off amazon) and found I was thankfully okay during these rides! I try to always pick a window seat and look at the horizon (not my phone) when on the rides. Also sitting closer to the front of the vehicle is the best bet. I hope it helps and you have an awesome trip!

      Ok good to know. Thank you for the advice. I’ve actually never tried the wristbands but I might give them a try before we leave just to make sure they work for me. Thanks again!

    Your travel tips always come in handy! Just a friendly suggestion, have you ever tried using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane? It's designed to keep you organized and efficient while traveling, and I think it aligns perfectly with your expertise in maximizing the travel experience.

    Hey thanks for the tips. I am wondering how did you travel between your airbnb and the sita bus stops? Your stay is up high and the buses are in the center so I am wondering how you reached the busses to travel around and how did you go back to your stay at night without a bike/ car?

      So glad this was helpful! Walked haha :) Major key to europe summer is packing light and being prepared to roll your suitcase around a whole lot - I only do carry on and backpack if possible! And the night I went out and stayed out late I was staying in the center of Positano so I was just able to walk the 10 minutes! :)

    Hi , I will like to go in May since you are saying that July August is busy .and what type of sneakers for walking you recommended

    • @MahnaGhafori
      @MahnaGhafori  Рік тому

      Hey! That is so exciting, definitely a great time to go. I would recommend checking out different sneakers on Zappos.com. There, you can pick out and try on different shoes based on the comfort and style you like, and return for free if it isnt a fit. I would walk and try it out a bit before your trip to make sure it is comfortable for plenty of walking. Happy travels!

      I bought my ticket when I got to the station! If you search "travel time" from the origin to destination you are heading to, a few different resources should pop up that will have your exact route outlined with different travel options. Thats what I do! happy travels!

    We are 73 years old. We are active but I'm worried about all the steps. What area of Amalfi to you recommend for seniors? I would love to do a boat tour and possibly stay in a senior friendly area. Is the place you stayed easy to get to?
