The K-Pop group chatted with Access Hollywood's Zuri Hall at the 2021 American Music Awards and revealed Lizzo confessed to them in-person that she has a crush on two members of the group. They also revealed what it is like to be back on the AMA stage for the first time in two years.

she's a great interviewer! all of the members seemed comfortable with her and she didn't ask any of the annoying questions that we see waaaay too often! the AMAs were great this year, not just because BTS won awards that they deserved, but because BTS were heard and appreciated in ways that they never have been until now. glad to see that equality is spreading :-)

Lizzo met up & took selfies with the boys the other night at a Harry Styles concert. Taehyung, JHope, Jimin, & Jungkook were there. They truly looked like they were having a great time after being cooped up so long with covid. Lizzo has in the past sang a bts cover & wore a crop top with vmin on itb❤

This was such a fun, cute interview - playful, but not treating them like they are a bit slow like lots of interviewers do in the west. Seven beautiful men being interviewed by a stunning woman, but there was nothing cringey at all - good stuff 💜💜
And they won, all three awards they were nominated for, plus their performances were outstanding - and their acceptance speeches were so sweet and spontaneous yet still professional - I am so proud of them.
this wasn't a really good interview. for one, she didn't know that Megan wasn't performing with them anymore and also the taylor swift part???? how was that relevant to them, it seemed like a waste of time where she could ask them another question that is actually bts related.

@@karlasconfessionals I agree that the Megan comment was a little “out of the loop”, but BTS wasn’t fazed by it - and I judge on their demeanor, they seemed very relaxed and happy, like they enjoyed the interview, all of them were engaged, when she called them savage (about the Taylor Swift scarf issue - which was just a joke, almost an ice-breaker, to show BTS as witty men possibly), Jungkook thought it was hilarious, Jimin and Tae were laughing at the Lizzo questions, Yoongi and Hobi were smiling and nodding and interested (Yoongi especially can disengaged when the interview irritates or disrespects them), and of course, Joon was happy to translate. She didn’t ask about what food they could not wait to eat (like Seoul doesn’t have some of the best restaurants in the world - and examples of most American fast food chains), nor who they wanted to collaborate with or who they were star-struck to meet. She was relaxed and fun and even a little flirty (not in an over the top or sleazy way) - which I think respects BTS as handsome men - I hate it when western interviewers behave like BTS are kids, or stupid usually because there is a language barrier, like they aren’t these beautiful, clever men just because they don’t speak English well. It looked to me like BTS appreciated being treated like intelligent, attractive adult men by a vivacious, friendly, and beautiful woman. And why wouldn’t they? They have met her before too.
Anyway, it doesn’t matter - we can each have our own opinions - it’s cool 🙏💜💜 Peace ✌️
