    This is a very wonderful video, you mixed the 3 major tribes of the north together, Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri, but they are very close to one another especially the Hausa's and Fulani's because of there inter marriage

      Again Nigeria is not even 60years old , Fulani have being residing in hausaland since fourteen 14centry, 400years before the birth of Nigeria. You are from ghana no your places , Fulani own this country Nigeria if you dont know. Im A Hausa just incase.

      I'm afraid I disagree in that the Hausa peoples vary in physical appearance.
      You have your Maguz Hausa- who are generally stout and short and of darker skin and your Hausa- Fulani- who tend to be lighter skinned and tall and lean.

    • @ane1315
      @ane1315 6 років тому +3

      Percival Pan Maguz Hausa , guy you are funny, Maguza means one who runs from... The muslim hausa called non muslim hausa Maguzawa (meaning those who reject/runs from islam. The word maguza has nothing to do with apprearance and hausa are not stount , shout on average most hausa a 6 to 5 feet. Im Hausa mixed Fulani and i have never in my life see a Bamaguje(singler form of maguzawa, None Muslim Hausa) only 1% of them exist and i doubt if you ever met one.

    • @percivalpan2086
      @percivalpan2086 6 років тому +1

      Ahmad Qasim Baura
      Maguzawa is the plural for one bamaguje... That is assuming I was using the Hausa language- which I am not. I used the term in English.
      The Europeanisation of the word linguistically transcribes as Maguz.
      One adds the ’awa’ suffix if one is describing a people in their collective form.
      Eg Yarabawa for Yoruba
      Larabawa for Arabs
      Canisawa for Chinese
      And Maguzawa for the Maguz.
      Babu wani dogon bayyani a ciki.

      Further the Hausa you meet today in modern Nigeria specifically are greatly mixed with the Fulani, Nupe, Gundurawa, Yoruba etc.
      The original Hausa people were the Habe speaking peoples of the Hausa kingdoms as well as the animalist Maguzawa, Maguza, Maguz.
      They are in fact short, stout and dark skinned.
      If you have any questions I shall refer you to the research department of the Gidan Dan Hausa in Farm Centre in Kano city otherwise known as the Kano state office of tourism and culture.
      Thank you.

      Well, whatever one may say about Ethiopians being Jews or Asians there's tremendous similarity between Hausa language and Some East African languages especially the Oromo, the Somali etc. There are some Hausa sounds that are totally absent among west African languages but found in Ethiopian and Somalian languges.
