Sat Nam Mantra is perhaps one of the most prevalent mantra in the Kundalini Yoga tradition. Sat means The Truth and Nam means Name. So Sat Nam means the Name is Truth. When we greet someone with Sat Nam, we are acknowledging each others true essence, which is far beyond the physical bodies we embody.
When we chant it and meditate upon it , we go deeper to understand what truth really means. Truth is that we all are the creation of that one creator, "Ik Onkar", Truth is that we all are connected, we all are one.we all are part of that one infinite source of creativity.
As you will meditate upon it, you will slowly develop your own meaning and understanding of this beautiful mantra.

Lately I been practicing Kundalini and love it. I love what the meaning of Sat Nam with a passion and the song sounds beautiful but I hate that it sounds like he is saying "Satana" which means Satan. Smh.
This mantra has changed my mind and has brought peace to me and my home✌️

Me pregunto si se vale cuestionar, si con esta meditación invocan la Verdad de la Luz de Satanás. Es bella la melodía pero esa es su función, engañar. Yo por mi parte ya no participo en enviarle energía a los grupos mundiales cuando hacen Meditación para ganarle al Mal; eso ya no. Prefiero una Meditación personal y si, me está atrapando esta Belleza, pero me empieza a vibrar la cabeza.
Estamos descubriendo ya muchos engaños, espero que dos años después de tu comentario, sigas con Salud y Vida en esta Plandemia, donde Satanás triunfó momentáneamente; sin embargo, los estamos combatiendo con la Verdad y el Amor. No me parecería extraño saber de gente espiritual y meditadora, y correr a inyectarse la marca de la bestia, el Grafeno; hay muchas incoherencias en este mundo.
I cried a little after listening to his mantra
Simran means "remembrance" , when the Guru gives us the eternal blessing (gur parsaad) of naam they start the process of simran inside us (inside our surat/consciousness). Even though Sikhs are used to "satnaam waheguru" that phrase is not written anywhere by the Gurus. What Dhan Guru nanak ji actually wrote is "Ik onkar sat naam ..." - which is very deep, but can be simply said as "One God, "Truth" Name" meaning There is only One Formless Being who is the "Truth". Sat is the Naam. Waheguru comes in Gurbani in the section in praise of the fourth Guru, dhan dhan Guru Ram Das ji where the poets described their Sat Guru Ram Das Ji as ...sat sach sri nivaas aad purakh sada tuhi wahe guru wahe guru wahe guru wahe jeeo"- meaning "(O Guru Ram Das ji, inside you is the place of Truth, SAT (Truth ie the One God named Truth) , the primal being is eternally (manifested inside) You, that "Truth Being" inside you is the Wondrous Guru Wondorus Guru Wondrous Guru Wondrous Being. All this happens inside the surat, inside us and has nothing to do with external observances and in Gurbani there is nothing written by the Guru's saying any extenal are required to do simran.

It does refer to the name of God, Waheguru, NOT TO YOU. Is a sikh shabad, not mantra.

Estoy un poco desconfiado porque, últimamente he descubierto muchos engaños, en realidad, en todo. Todo lo que el Rey Mierdas tocó ha sido corrompido, ya sabes, la educación, la ciencia, el Arte, la astronomía, la Psiquiatría, la Religión, la Medicina que hoy vivimos, la Música llena de satanismo... y ahora me pregunto si nos quisieron engañar con el significado de Sat Nam. Me da mucha tristeza no creerme ya de nada.
satnaam means true name. It symbolise one god and he is not hindu,muslim and Christian. He is beyond that.

It's so powerful! When I chant this mantra I feel a strong energy in my back that stops under the shoulder blades and continues to spin there for some days. Sat Nam means Sad Znam (in croatian) means Now I know. Croats origins were in Saraswati region. So many our words have the same meanining as in sanskrt language. Old people were saying that we speak Veiski or Vedski (Veda-knowledge) se veda in slovenian means it is known. So the same meaning as in sanskrt. So slavs and especialy croats (Hrvati or Harahvati, Harahvaiti, that must be read as Sarasvati has the name conected even to Hara the Soul). I remember many previous lives and in the spiral of life I came to live here among the Croats where I experienced iluminations on diferent coans. Be blesed...
