    Hi Rich! Thanx for doing all the hard work for an old disabled fisherman that can't get out on the water too much anymore. I sure don't miss payin' 10 bucks for that lure I just threw up in that low hanging tree, but I love the POV! It's like I'm there doing it myself! Good luck on your future fission missions!

    As always, thanks for a great presentation! This one hits closest to home as half of my life had been in Sebastian. We tend to think that our area is the greatest, likely due to the time and effort yielding results but now you're doing the legwork and spending the time learning and I enjoy your rewards. Thank you Rich, you are appreciated!

    Nice day fishing and scouting. That's what we gotta do, find where the fish hang out and try to be there when they feed. I like using whatever live bait is available and a good selection of lures. Finding free plugs in snags is a favorite.

    How long is your kayak? My brother and I are gonna get the Old Town 136 autopilots but man you make the pedal one look easy breezy. Watching your keys video of the 7 mile bridge sold me. I love the keys and this will allow for faster more convenient trips down to enjoy that clean water. Also the stability test on the old town was sick. I can lobster out of it as well, you just climb right over the side no problem. Keep up the videos man, they're awesome. One of these calm summer days I'd like to see you offshore trolling maybe 1 mile out off of Hollywood or ft Lauderdale. The drop off is pretty close in.

      hey genius when a fish doesnt quite commit to hitting a topwater the thing to do is throw a sub surface lure right back at it. which worked to catch fish for him the rest of the day.

    • @SupaluvaC
      @SupaluvaC 2 роки тому +1

      To be honest, I live in Florida and and when I get a miss on topwater I DO NOT switch to a sub-surface. I continue with the topwater...NOW, that's not saying either way is right or wrong, but not sure either of you needed to throw a bit of sarcasm or attitude in there. To each their own, I guess.
      I fish solely from a yak and do tournaments on both the East and West coasts. I'm not an expert by no means, but I wouldn't have necessarily switched lures. It's fishing though...you can try whatever to see what works. He's probably been successful switching so that's what he did, completely understandable.

    • @NEfishingtales

      @@SupaluvaC I'm going to agree with you there. Dude was just joking, no need to jump at his throat.

    • @SupaluvaC
      @SupaluvaC 2 роки тому +1

      @@NEfishingtales Yea. I mean, it's fishing, haha. There was no harm no foul...I get both responses, but we should all stay a bit level headed about this. Fishing is about testing the waters and trying new techniques...and most of all relaxing and having fun.
      I actually stopped tournament fishing because people started to get waaaayyyy too serious and it wasn't like they were doing it for a living.

  • @dalegrible5556

    FISHING BUDDIES.....I COULD USE SOME ADVICE. I LIVE IN THE PHILIPPINES AND ALWAYS FISH IN SALTWATER (84 DEGREE WATER). WE DON'T HAVE A LAKE ON OUR ISLAND SO FRESH WATER FISHING IS NOT AN OPTION. MY ISLAND HAS ROCK STRUCTURES ON THE OCEAN FLOOR FOR ABOUT 1/4 MILE FROM SHORE THEN IT TURNS TO MOSTLY SAND AND SOME GRASS OR KELP. THE ONLY THING I CATCH IN WATER LESS THAN 180 FEET DEEP ARE VERY SMALL SPECIES.
    YOU HAVE TO GO OUT TO ABOUT 193 FEET OR DEEPER. ALSO, I CATCH FISH ALWAYS ON THE BOTTOM, NEVER ON THE SURFACE.
    I THINK POSSIBLY ONE RESAON FOR THIS IS THE LOCALS HAVE FISHED THIS PLACE FOR GENERATIONS I'M THINKING AND WHATEVER THEY CATCH, THEY KEEP IT. THERE ARE NO SIZE REGULATIONS HERE, SO I'M WONDERING IF SAY 1/2 MILE OFF SHORE ALL THE WAY AROUND THE ISLAND HAS BEEN OVER FISHED FOR SO LONG. MAYBE THAT EXPLAINS WHY I HAVE TO GO TO DEEPER WATER?
    ANY IDEAS?
    THANKS
    DALE GRIBLE

    The Sebastion area pretty much sux. Head on down south and you will do much much better. Sebastion Sux! I dont know why but as soon as you get south of Sebastion the fishing picks up tremendously. Its like a cursed area. Go South young man go South! Nothing but trash in that area. Either go a lot farther North or a little South and you will be fine but that area sux!😎
