I was in a very depressed state for awhile. Although when I listened to this song today, and some more of Weezer everything changed. It's my like something in my subconscious slapped me out of it. Thanks Weezer you guys Rock!!!

Deep depression for a while...then I remembered the lyrics to The Sweater Song. Since been on a Weezer binge and it's better than therapy. Musical antidepressants lyrical healing through my ears. So far, the SZNZs Spring EP is like the antithesis to Pinkerton. The angst, depression, shame, and grief in Pinkerton are diametrically contrasted to the animation, happiness, pride, & joy in SZNZs Spring, and I think it is no surprise that this EP is getting mixed reviews, mostly because it was unexpected, just as Pinkerton was unexpected. I'm excited to see how SZNZ plays out with Summer, Fall, & Winter.
I think people miss the obvious - that Weezer produce Art - masquerading within pop/Rock. Rivers love of a "concept" release is more like an accessible instillation, wrapped in melody first, then often - but not always - cocooned in crunchy guitars. I know - not all of us are Harvard Scholars...but while many will compare Weezer to the Beach Boys, I think Spring reveals that it's more like - if a modern day Shakespeare started them 🌻🌼🌸🏵️🌺💮
I listen to this song on repeat while I work and sing along. When I’m driving and it comes on the radio I crank it and smile. Best song ever 🎶🎵♥️🎵🎶

I remember weezer when they first came out on windows 95 and how they were one of the first major music videos ever put on the internet world wide cause of microsoft putting them as the video within the OS. Weezer always makes songs you just like to listen to a jam out. Much love Weezer for all your songs of good music.

this one is my absolute favorite! A little bit of love truly goes the very long way!!! My 12-year-old son who loves skateboarding discovered Weezer, because he calls them skate music. I am proud to say that he considers this latest album to be his favorite! We have been listening to it repeatedly. The first time I heard the songs I thought oh that’s strange and a little goofy. But by the third time I felt like each song had won a very special place in my heart. mysteriously and magically it feels as though I have been hearing these songs for decades! it’s hard to describe it any other way. I feel a love for these songs that is as natural as breathing, as natural as listening to favorite old Beatles songs, and we always sing along of course! These songs make us happy happy happy!!! thank you so much Weezer for channeling this music to us from the great beyond. Your Muse is spectacular!!!
