    Thank you. Seems to me that TT should explain this sort of thing. I went to their website, and it seemed like an advertisement with very little real information.
    Lots of people seem to have trouble understanding TT.

    Hi Folks! Loving your park walk-through vids! You guys do a great job of showing details a lot of other folks don't cover in similar videos, especially specific camp site details and recommendations! Very much appreciated!
    Sooooo, I grew up staying half a year in TT parks as a kid. My folks got thier membership in 1980, the year after they opened lol and I spent the next 18+ years going all over the country because they were retired and it was just an awesome life! I'm a 43 year old single mom with one kiddo and I want to give them a taste of that experience now that I'm able to financially.
    I'm going to have a home base park in Oregon and am looking at Pacific City as my main destination. Now, I have some delimas to work around and would appreciate advice because it's been 20 years since I've been to a TT park! I have seizures and cannot drive. But that's been the case my whole life so I'm used to living without the ability to just hop in a truck and go wherever whenever. But it means I do things a little different like supplementing going to the grocery store often with getting meal delivery services and calling on my church family to pick us up for outings. My church is everywhere so I know there will be congregations close by wherever I go. And I'm going to homeschool because the public schools nowadays freaking terrify me quite honestly.... which is also how I was raised up until high-school myself. But I will be on foot a lot. I also work remotely from my laptop with no set schedule and I have heard there is a major issue with service at the park, but do you think the family center would have strong enough wifi for me to get a few hours of work uploaded? I do graphic design which only needs the internet to upload the finished work and I trade stocks and crypto as well. If I was stationed in a spot in G loop, how long is the walk to the beach do you think and is there ANY store within an hour walk from that campground? It looks like you guys did a fair amount of hiking and exploring in the area a year ago so I'm hoping you have some good info for me lol. I have such awesome memories of that beach as a kid! I want to see my son running wild and free through the sand just like I did, and exploring the beautiful nature there! We can stay up to a maximum of 210 days a year at that park but there are so many close parks to bounce between that it would still be mostly that one with a few more as temporary getaways to fill in the other 3rd of the year. What do you guys think about Whalers Rest compared to Pacific City? Any recommendations for the best California park for a small child for one month out of the year? I'm going to go south from December through March and my favorite favorite park from California isn't there anymore!!! Big sad tears. The original Palm Springs park in California was just an amazing place to be growing up. I still remember every square foot of that park. I learned to ride my first bike there... but they sold it some years ago and opened a new one that just isn't the same. Le sigh.
    Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts, advice and expertise.

      Whalers Rest RV Resort is our top pick along the Oregon Coast. Thank you for all this contextual information. That old membership may not include all the parks. Be sure to call Bob. Bob can give you a quote on upgrading your existing Thousand Trails Membership. Lou

    I am getting ready to purchase a TT membership and upgrade. I would like to go with the Adventure Upgrade so I can get the higher level Trails Package but I have seen so many reviews that say that it is virtually impossible to get reservations at most encore sites because of their limiting of spaces available to TT members.

    • @LivingOurDreamNow
      @LivingOurDreamNow  10 місяців тому

      Watch some of our videos. I have a whole playlist on nothing but Trails Collection affiliated campgrounds and RV resorts. There are people out there that have unrealistic expectations. If it was so hard to get reservations, could Melody and I have stayed at each one of these resorts/campgrounds? Many people purchase their upgrade from Bob because they have trust in us. You can't fake what we show in our videos. Lou

    Hi. Thanks for explaining the membership levels. I just want to make sure I understand.
    [1] If you decided to do the Adventure package, the campgrounds available are based on all zones or just the zones you're interested in?
    [2] If you select Adventure for initial membership, you're paying Zone Pass (amount based on how many zones you want) + Adventure membership? Then the second year you pay Zone Pass (es) + Adventure annual dues?
    I'm trying to make sure I understand how this goes. Still a little confused about this part. Thanks!

    • @LivingOurDreamNow

      All upgraded memberships with the exception of the new Escape Membership provide access to all Thousand Trails Preserves without respect to zones. Zones are only applicable to the Camping Pass and the new Escape Membership . All upgraded memberships have annual dues which currently cost the same as the annual Camping Pass. Call Bob - there is no sales pitch and he may answer all your questions. Lou

      @@LivingOurDreamNow ok thanks for the reply I'm a backpacker who just got a tiny teardrop camper this winter. Trying to make sense of the new options. I'm most comfortable in the Adirondacks or similar rustic State Park settings. I'm glad there is organizations like this preserving natural spaces and improving campgrounds. Just a bit of sticker shock I guess. The "Adventure" level costs more than my whole set up, small SUV included lol. But I can see it's less than rent for a year in most cases and if you wanted to live in campgrounds while traveling I can see why some would like this.

    • @LivingOurDreamNow
      @LivingOurDreamNow  Рік тому

      All membership upgrades have annual dues and this is covered within the video I point the audience to titled Thousand Trails Membership Levels Explained 2023. Dues are frozen at age 62. It is not automatic. The Thousand Trails Member must notify Thousand Trails Customer Service that they are age 62 and request that their membership dues be frozen. Once approved, the member's existing Thousand Trails membership account will be annotated accordingly. In order to request that dues be frozen, you must first possess an upgraded membership as Camping Pass holders do not pay dues. Hope this helps. Lou

    Do the Escape, Elite, Elite Connections and/or Adventure memberships come with all of the zones???

    • @LivingOurDreamNow

      An Escape membership consists of zones. The other membership upgrades do not involve zones.

    • @hollynauss6359
      @hollynauss6359 3 місяці тому

      Ah, so technically then the Elite,both basic and Connections and adventure memberships include all of the "zones"? Now I understand why it costs so much more! But the optional Trails campgrounds do have to be added to any membership from camping pass through Adventure? The only difference is with the Adventure membership there is the further option to add Trails collection with the longer reservation window and going park to park. Correct?
