  • I really like the design of this flashlight! If you've seen several of my reviews, you should know by now that I like the abnormal shaped flashlights. Anything but the cliche' tubular design is already cool. But, what do you think about this flashlight? Is it something that you can see yourself using?

    This is basically a really long version of the Tini 2 keychain light by nitecore. The screens and menu is identical

      That is a good comparison. 😅👍🏻

    Like the design, like the features, price isn’t bad. Almost jumped on it a couple times. But I just can’t for a flashlight with a non replaceable battery. Once that battery goes bad, you’ve got a 90 dollar paper weight. Unless I guess it’s covered under warranty.

      Yeah, I actually spoke to Nitecore about the battery. They claim that the soldered batteries are more reliable than the removable ones. I can kind of see how that would be, but at the same time I'm no expert on that topic.

    Mine says lvl 1 when i charge it. How many lvl's are there?

      The level that it shows is the previous brightness setting you had it on. Should be 4 levels of brightness.

    I have this light, love the way it looks but it is too complicated compared to the Arkfeld. I end up with the Arkfeld in my pocket everyday

      Do you find the lock out method too complicated? That was the one thing that (even as seen in the video) was a bit of a pain to deactivate.

    • @Nordraw
      @Nordraw 4 місяці тому +2

      @@FittoSurvive the lockout , and just using the light in general. I wanted to like it and may give it another chance but the Arkfeld is such a good light.

      @@FittoSurvive I did talk to customer service and they said it was one full push then one push and hold to unlock, not a half push then a push and hold. Seems to work. Their own directions say short push then push and hold to unlock. Mistake on their part. It’s full push then full push and hold. That works

    $ 90+ for something a $ 20 Petzl can do.
    Too complicated, no chance to replace mono-cells.
    Failure!

      Hmmm... I did a quick search on Amazon, any Petzel I saw over 1,000 lumens was $80 to $300... The $30 petzels I found had only 350 lumens.
      I understand that a $90 flashlight could be considered luxury but in today's market, I wouldn't consider it overpriced.
      Oddly, the Nitecore EDC33 is cheaper than the EDC27.
      Either way, thanks for sharing your thoughts about the flashlight! 👍🏻
