Every once in a while all the stars align and we get something truly great. If they cast literally anybody else in his position, this story would not have worked out to become the heartwarming tale that it became. Ronald is a one of a kind human being. Thank you man, you made this story special and touched a lot of people just by being the good dude you are.
Honestly hearing him say he never has felt upset about the experience and he is grateful for it has made me an even bigger fan of this show, for a while I worried about the ethical nature of the show, and how it could have affected his life negatively, so I’m really glad hearing that he was so happy to be apart of the experience and life is going well for him. What an incredible human being he is, God bless him! ❤
I have to commend the interviewer here! I've been binging a lot of Ronald's interviews since finishing the show last week, and I've been so upset that in a lot of them, the hosts don't give him nearly enough time to answer. Emily here has great energy and has established a good rapport with Ronald. She asked him to expound on interesting things and pulled back when it seemed like he wasn't feeling it. It sounded like a genuine, interesting conversation between the two! Oh, and of course, Ronald is a gem!
Ronald is proving in this post-release press what an awesome guy he is. I feel like a lot of people would just milk the new-found fame and be really desperate, but it seems like he’s taking all the right steps and being very mature and measured about navigating things
It's nice to see the show celebrating someone who is of good character and just a truly nice guy rather than trying to get viewers by focusing on shallowness, drama, conflict and the worst side of human behaviour.
Ronald is a class act, a true gem of a man. The show would not have worked without him, really, what a catch for the production team to find someone so endearing and handsome and who ended up being such a great sport about the whole thing! Great interview too
Gotta love Ronald. I think what's SO refreshing and attractive about him to everyone is the fact that he's not a product of Hollywood. He is untainted and honest with himself and the whole process. 👍
This guy deserves all the positive things that have come & hopefully continue to come. I truly hope the fame isn't too much for him 💜 I love that the cast & crew are keeping in touch & supporting him emotionally during all of this.
I'm sure he was chosen because he's such a lovely guy and also because he's attractive (sorry but movie star good looks make for good TV and I'll bet that was a big factor for them). But the part where he's a lovely guy is the part they really nailed.
After binge watching I walked away feeling like I was in a mirage. I talked on the phone and it felt like it was fake. Ronald explained that experience and I can only imagine how intensified that was for him. I'm a fan of 'Jury Duty' and everyone involved. Bravo! Excellent interview also!
I laughed the whole show, but at the end of it, I did feel kind of bad for him and was considering how ethical the whole thing was. They’re lucky that he’s a chill guy. Wish him the best.
We just binged it the other night! We loved it. I want to re-watch it now that we know how they did it! Great feat in pulling it off. He was the perfect person for the "role" of juror #6. Plus my husband and I just served on the jury too! 🎉🎉🎉
Great interviewer with great questions for an awesome man. Ronald is a sweet combination of looks, goodness and personality. I'm one who will definitely be following his career.
Just binged the whole thing and it was fantastic. He seems like such a decent and awesome human being. Actually I could totally see him being a Director down the line.
@@blondycorrena he seems to do well under pressure and is fairly analytical. Not that that’s all one needs to be a Director of course. Just an opinion though.
Such a pleasant reality show to watch amidst Scandoval! Scandoval on Vanderpump Rules makes you lose faith in humanity, while The Jury restores your faith in humanity. Highly recommended! There are actual good people out there!!! ❤❤❤
I think so often we, outside of Hollywood, can feel almost lied to or potentially lied to about who these people we watch are. There’s always another scandal coming out, another person saying this famous actor isn’t who he pretends to be for the media-it feels like we’re always finding out they’re more like the fake James Marsden from the show, and if we’re not finding that out we’re wondering and secretly don’t know what to believe. But this show took a guy and showed him as a hero, and the best part is that it’s completely genuine and you know that’s really how he is with other people and in even such a stressful situation. What an amazing guy!
I’m glad I stumbled on this interview, and plan to re-watch Jury Duty. Unique premise, so well executed, such a talented group of actors, over-the-top Marsden, and Ronald was a great hero. Great interviewer, so thanks!
Predicting it now: the dude is gonna have a long career. Then a story is gonna come out about how he also got the crew more jobs because they’re all friends. He just seems like the type.
I can see Ron Gladden as a brand ambassador for a company/product. He’s such a breath of fresh air, so articulate not to mention great looking. Kind of like a Jared for St Farm insurance. Can’t wait to see where he shows up next!
Ronald is a cool dude! Most people probably would've went through with a lawsuit after the ordeal of Jury Duty (I mean honestly, let's be real here), but instead he sees it as an opportunity, and what an opportunity! He is a lucky man!
Thwy found the most normal healthy well adjusted regular human being to put thru this and thats exactly what they needed for it work. If it was a bit more of a self indulgent or not as chill and down to earth easy going guy it wouldve went south fast and been unpleasant, and these types of people are THE EXACT opposite of the types that are usually into the entertainment industry or end up being any type of famous so, its a very unique and unusual set of circumstances for sure.
What an incredible journey. He should run for President of the United States... no joke... We need someone in the WH who is just an all-around good dude.
Honestly this was the first thing I said to my husband after we finished the last episode. We really need leaders with stellar moral compasses like him. He also has the right demeanor and charisma as well.
I feel like the show took on a major legal risk with this. Not sure exactly what the suit would be, but you could definitely find one. I think that’s part of the reason they keep him close. Or maybe that’s just the trust issues I got from watching it.
It was an abandoned courthouse. In fact, during the commentary, producers mentioned how nervous they were after he went home and still had access to technology since the courthouse would be listed as closed on Google maps
Am I the only one who is still afraid to believe he actually didn’t know it was a prank/fake trial documentary? I was way the first couple of episodes and was thinking he was an amazing actor because it was so realistic that he didn’t know… I still feel afraid to believe it because I don’t want to be gullible…but it really is a funny show.
I feel the same. He always speaks so well in the show and never stumbles or misspeaks. He also looked too comfortable schmoozing with a movie star right off the bat. It looked too smooth. And everyone knows you get called to jury duty. You can’t answer an ad to serve on a jury so you can be in a documentary about it. How could he have believed that was real? Also, wasn’t he living in San Diego while the trial was in LA? That’s not how jury duty works. I don’t know; it all feels too perfect, including his good looks.
Yeah that’s the whole point of the show, everything was fake except for this man right here. Look it up bro. Your account name being “What is Real Videos”, this show was definitely more real than your content.
His answer to which celebrity who has contacted him that excited him the most is so wholesome
Truthfully pretty much everything about him is wholesome and endearing...just a great guy. Rare!
I CAME HERE TO SAY THIS how cute is it that he´s the most excited about A DOG???
He is REALLY a hero for that

Are you sure?
Ronald is a Gem!!! Protect him at all cost.
*Ronald and Emily Curl are so cute together! They would have a beautiful baby, no?*
The show only truly works because of Ronald, its so great that by pure accident they got a guy as good hearted as he is.
Honestly. I think this is one of the better interviews with him. It moves at a good pace and the interviewer is excellent.
Agreed!
agreed! She was sensitive about his answers and asked further if he felt upset
wow, thank you so much! xx

Emily was absolutely amazing! So warm and engaging!! ❤
Absolutely agree - was just thinking the exact same thing!
For him saying he doesn't like public speaking. He is such a good communicator on and off the show on these talk shows
Ronald is proving in this post-release press what an awesome guy he is. I feel like a lot of people would just milk the new-found fame and be really desperate, but it seems like he’s taking all the right steps and being very mature and measured about navigating things
Jury Duty is a great show -- but this interviewer was excellent. Really engaged and superb questions!
wow, thank you so much!
i was thinking the same thing!

The show chose him because he's wildly kind and charming
Gotta love Ronald. I think what's SO refreshing and attractive about him to everyone is the fact that he's not a product of Hollywood. He is untainted and honest with himself and the whole process. 👍

James - career move for the ages. The loudest, subtle, self promotion - done brilliantly. His agent deserves a raise.

thank you so much! xx
I was even feeling paranoid after watching this show. I can’t imagine how Ronald felt. He’s such an awesome guy.
Great interviewer with great questions for an awesome man. Ronald is a sweet combination of looks, goodness and personality. I'm one who will definitely be following his career.
i loved the old lady who was always crocheting, she was a gem... but tbh all the jurors were brilliant
This guy is really likable ngl and the interviewer is sooo good. Thank you.
I love that this sweet kid is from northeastern Oregon. We do have some nice people but he must be one of the nicest ones! :)
Just binged the whole thing and it was fantastic. He seems like such a decent and awesome human being. Actually I could totally see him being a Director down the line.
why? he wasnt acting in this. he wasnt directing. he was just being filmed. what skills shown that makes him seem like a director
@@blondycorrena he seems to do well under pressure and is fairly analytical. Not that that’s all one needs to be a Director of course. Just an opinion though.
what a great dude, i was so emotional in that last episode
I hope he got a cut of the production earnings and not just 100k. He has to change so much about his life now.
Truly a gem in this insane world.

Asking myself what Scandoval is... and then thinking I don't want to know!!
The biggest orchestrated punk'd episode ever 😅 he seems like a gem❤
I love that he brought up D-Train with Jack Black, UNDERRATED GEM!!!
Definitely one of the best interviews with Ronald!
I was recommended this show and totally love it. As for Ronald, what a superstar. A real gent

We all need to be more like Ronald.
Ronald should start a home improvement UA-cam channel 🙌🏻

Ronald should become a celebrity host - he is his real self

Way to represent Ronald!!
If watching Truman Show makes me question what is real vs fake after I watch it, I cannot IMAGINE how trippy the aftermath was for Ronald
Can't believe his answer about the celebrity was Maxine the Corgy! 😍
@EmCurl did a wonderful job with this interview!
Ronald is a cool dude! Most people probably would've went through with a lawsuit after the ordeal of Jury Duty (I mean honestly, let's be real here), but instead he sees it as an opportunity, and what an opportunity! He is a lucky man!
He is very handsome too
she's a very good interviewer

He’s amazing
He is well spoken! This was a fun interview

What is the meaning of the Logo on the blue shirt Ronald Gladden in Jury Duty wears sometimes?
5:40 He should've corrected it to "Liable/not liable"
He should be on the bachelor
why was this video sped up?
How did the production company manage to take over a courthouse?
It was an abandoned courthouse. In fact, during the commentary, producers mentioned how nervous they were after he went home and still had access to technology since the courthouse would be listed as closed on Google maps
I hope, for his own sake, he stays as far away from Hollywood as possible. It's a cancer.
Ronald Gladden for president, 2028
He wants to talk about everyone and give those actors and producers credit.. she just wants to talk about the big star, she's such a grub

I don’t know; it all feels too perfect, including his good looks.
Ha
But I doubt Ronald will let Marsden use his toilet again😂
it must be weird to have this much fame over a film you didn't consent to be filming (just consent to release it afterwards).
His casting was inspired. The show wouldn't have worked with a more selfish main character.
Dtrain is uhhh horrifying
