      I'm glad to see someone else that noticed this. Everyone keeps talking about how he wasn't given a lot of room to speak in this interview this but they seem to forget that he is just a normal guy. Like he said in the show he is probably way more comfortable sitting outside of the main light.

    The last 'reveal' episode, they left out clips of Ronald, a non actor, 'acting' to help James prepare for his upcoming role. Ronald was such a sport to do that. He is such a nice, adorable guy. So patient, accepting, loyal, kind, sporting, and respectful. On day 10, not wanting to hurt Noah's feelings, he held back from him that his girlfriend had in fact broken off their relationship. He deserved every dollar of the reward for being a 'hero.'

The “mark” is also an incredibly wholesome guy who ended up being such a sweetheart and all around good guy that they failed the show to give him a “hero” edit. A pre-SNL Kristin Wiig was one of the castmates. I have no idea if that appeals to you, but if you need to take it easy, it’s fun to watch.

    It's so funny that Ronald was a Ben Schwartz fan who was most well-known for his character Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Rec. But then he had no clue that the juror Pat McCurdy was really the actor Kirk Fox who also starred in Parks and Rec. Although nowhere near as important or as featured a character as Jean-Ralphio, I still believe Kirk's character Joe was quite memorable in the 8 episodes he appeared in. If somehow you are reading this comment and still haven't seen every episode of Jury Duty or Parks and Rec, what are you doing with your life? I can't wait for this show, I love fucking James Marsden, plus the mockumentary is amazing for comedy and it has been revolutionized by The Office (UK, US and the other international adaptions of the show) and since then, it's inspired other shows like Parks and Rec, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, British show This Country, which was co-produced by Hulu and BBC that ran for three seasons and 20 episodes, pretty short, HBO Max's Stan Lets Flats, the HBO sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm, Wellington Paranormal and its spinoff sister show What We Do in the Shadows, based on the 2014 New Zealand-American of the same name from Taika Waititi, the director of Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder as well historical war satire comedy Jojo Rabbit, the short lived DC sitcom workplace series Powerless that aired on NBC in 2017 and ran for one season of 12 episodes before getting cancelled, pretty shocking, but whatever, looked pretty good and I haven't actually seen it before, but that's sad because I would've loved a good DC superhero themed sitcom in primetime on TV right now, that's sweet, the British comedy series People Just Do Nothing, the recently cancelled Netflix sitcom Blockbuster, named after and yes, focused on the very same company they drove out of business a few years ago, and even new shows like Abbott Elementary, and the US remake of This Country on Fox called Welcome to Flatch, about a pair of siblings named Shrub and Kelly documenting their lives and the daily happenings of their town called the Flatch, and it's a pretty good show to be honest! The mockumentary genre is pretty hot right now and I like because it allows for some pretty unique storylines to flourish in this style! And it's awesome, and I can't was for James to bring his signature brand of comedy to the table with show, it's going to rule, at least for me, in my opinion! It'll be great to see what he does in this show! Because he's just so good, such a funny guy and I like all of his other work in live action, too! He's been in animation before with The Boss Baby, which is for kids mostly, but it's alright, but I really like his live action work, he does such a good job there in that department! He's incredible! It's just genius, man!

      @anchovy2764 Рік тому

      Curb came out year before UK office. The genre itself first appeared on TV in 1957, long before any of the series you’ve mentioned. What we do in the shadows was a film first before it’s American tv series spin off and NZ tv series wellington.

Not sure how Ronald really thought about James during the show, does he really think that James is this self-absorbed actor? lol.. Ronald seems really nice. I think they are trying to pick a guy is humble and that wouildn't mind bringing up and the audience will love. Love the show. its funny because the show is scripted but... can go anywhere because of Ronald.
