Problem- drought , low groundwater levels. 1)watershed development by village volunteers, inspiration and motivation by NABARd team to enable community ownership for sustainable livelihoods. 2) digging of trenches, pits along the slope of the hills to reduce speed of flowing water and make it go deep in earth. 3) this increased groundwater levels for not just that particular village but also nearby villages. Hence, cultivation and prosperity.
