Years ago we were on a long weekend ride away from home, about 150 miles out. We get to a stop sign on the trail and a red bogie wheel rolls up to the fellow in front of me. I could see his head bobbing up and down with every cuss word in the universe. He reaches down, looks at it and reads Bombardier! There's only one in our pack. "Bruce, I believe this is yours". We were all on Polaris. Lol.

Awesome watching these fun mechanic vids of yours.👍I'll call Pete "Master Yoda"😁
My nephew borrowed my TundraLT I had stored... never brought it back till somehow water got into the fuel and he brought it back. Fixed it, then asked to borrow it again, oh well most of the time he hauls wood with it.😁

I have this same exact sled in color blue but a 500 and VES. I've well Maintained mine and it's in really nice shape. Everything works and it's a ripper and very fun. I installed 177 big boy torsion springs due to sagging and I'm a heavy guy.... rides much better and sits nice and high now. Rides much better now too. Also, I removed all shocks and had rear fox shocks and front shocks all rebuilt. Can't wait for part 2 of this video!! Nice video man!!

Those 700 big blocks are some bad ass motors. I have a 98 in my 2000 RMK and loads of power! Imo one of the best motors from polaris. As far as your shootout, I have my money on the polaris out of the hole, SRX will walk them past 100mph.

Check out my 01 xc 700. That one in your video will put a hurting on that zrt 600 and doo. The only sled that will beat that i your lineup for the race is a well tuned srx700. But those sleds ride like total garbage and that xc would leave it in the dust on everything except a straight line on a lake. The edge chassis are the best chassis polaris ever made for its low slung chassis with 12" of rear suspension along with a low center of gravity for the rider. Youd love that sled if you ride it

the airbox was designed that way for the 800 xcr triple but they lost 5mph on the top end when going to the edge chassis. So the triple stayed in the gen 2 platform.

Love your vids and a little late on this one, but when you sprayed the oil valves on the carbs those should not let any liquid through unless they have 3-5ft lbs of pressure. The valve where carb cleaner shot straight through is bad and could allow oil to slowly leak into the carb and motor.

Late to the party I know, but a little tip for you. Those 2000's vintage Polaris sleds only have 5 variations of key. I don't know the range of years, but if you look at the key there will be 1 to 5 dots on it above the Polaris name. You can buy all 5 keys online and just have them on a ring for when someone drops a sled of that vintage off for work.

Run ethonal free fuel in them for peak performance.& output reactions. Or you could go all out with Marvel mystery oil.& some gum out octane booster into your fuel mixtures with.,or with out 2 cycle oil permixed together.,or in separate containers to mounted on the those snowmobiles y'all have there. Good luck with them.

MXZ 700 2000, just rebuilt top end, clutch cleaned, new belt, new track it's like it was in 2000. Not a huge fan of all these " stand up " sleds. Not against great suspension just like the comfort and style of that era, my 1997 Mach Z is a beautiful thing, heavy not.
