This looks like an interesting career to go into. Do I need to go to school for this? What's the job outlook like? Also, how long have you been doing this?
Tom for three years, yes to trade school but on the job training could work too. In NewYork state you must pass certification test to continue. The market is wide open especially for traveling techs !

Instruction for use on the manufacturer’s manual but there are some general rules to like stainless steel handheld instruments usually can be sonic and Ortho usually has to be Sonic among others!
You say that until you are the one doing the cleaning and get told that some of those items came in contact with a person who was HIV positive. Or who has monkeypox. Or Hepatitis. Better is when you say it's overkill, clean an infected part and slice yourself open with the part!

Different hospitals local and country wide and some have even travel the world, surgeries are everywhere thus sterile processing is too
