Finally got it, Ketsuipachi world record! Run was done on the Steam version. Turn on captions for extra comments.
Stage strategies tend toward safety rather than score, since 80% of score comes from milking the true last boss. The Hivac milk was wonderful, I've never had such a good attempt even in practice mode.
I discovered a trick for the Golden Disaster fight where it's possible to get a 10chip cancel while in hyper. The boss floats around in a small circle at the top of the screen, and if you destroy it when it's at the lowest point, you'll get 10chips instead of 5chips. I'm not sure that it's worth using a hyper there, score increase from the hyper is negligible.

First of all, i feel so bad not knowing there is a NEW WR for Ketsuipachi, and its the one that nearly broke 9 Trillion.
Secondly, that last Hyper.. i can hear you SCREAMING, hoping it die just before the pattern kills you. Pucker Factor 9000 there.
--And yes, Hi-VA-C. Imagine basically fighting Hibachi with DOOM body xD--
Edit: Kind of a missed opportunity to make Ketsuipachi another proper Black Label custom mode (the bullet pattern on full RED gauge is still easier than proper Black Label) You basically have a very strong B-Strong ship so why hold back on giving HELL? 😏

AFAIK the HIVAC requirements involve, getting all 45 Bee Medals (Ura Route Stage 1 Required), 1 Credit, and one either of Don't die more than once/Kill 3 bosses with High RED Guage or Bomb 2 times maximum. Finally do not continue on the Golden Disaster fight.

@@yuiindiegamingchannel9424 As far as I am aware yes. As long as you can make it to Golden Disaster, the only extra conditions for HIVAC are getting all 45 Bee Medals and not continuing on him. Everything else listed is just to make Golden Disaster itself appear.

I'm not... and never familiar with later CAVE game systems, but I wonder why stars from Hivac worth so much points? Even when combo counter is not very high.

Asked months ago but fwiw: Star value is increased by the chain value which goes up when you kill enemies (and gets multiplied by high hit count). In the case of hivac its base point value is so high that even with a low hit count the stars are worth an absurd amount. the score starts shooting up as soon as the first phase is killed
