I've been trying to get my first 1cc following some scoring routes for Maniac mode, and seeing other players like yourself push these games to their limit is really inspiring and motivating. The handcam is also really neat! Would love to see you someday accomplish a score of 1 billion on Ultra, though I can't fathom how much precision there is in this as it is!
Oh, now i understood why its called No Autofire. There is one, but its the normal "Hold the Button" The Autofire that he meant is the "Rapid" one, because apparently this game lets you SHOOT FASTER than the game's default Autofire, meaning more damage and score Man's not skipping Hand Day anytime soon xD
I hit a wall with these games, but even earlier than the bullet hell era. Even in Aero Fighters, where I spent many coins at the time and replayed many times in different emulation (i had it on my psp then on vita) there are shots from the bosses that ALWAYS find me. The way you know exactly where to place the ship at any moment is something absolutely out of my abilities, and I am fascinated
Just learn where your character should be and do it like that, it's a memory thing rather than dodging most of the time. And I don't think memory is out of your grasp.
Congrats!! Which arcade stick did you use? Sanwa JLF, Seimitsu LS-32 or other? Interestingly, you don't place the lever between your ring and middle fingers as I've seen some players do.
Have you considered taking up rhythm gaming? With your incredible speed, stamina, and pattern recognition, you could do some amazing things in that field as well!

I used a Seimitsu LS-32 for this run, but these days I'm using a 40th anniversary version LS-32 since it feels a little higher quality. Thanks!
