* Can see Stylist/Matchmaker/Influencer Anna Bey rolling her eyes at the thought of any elegant lady wearing a denim dress in public..... Maybe it's an East Coast thing.
If Anna Bey rolled her eyes at any woman she believed to be dressed badly, she would cease to be an elegant woman. Do you think that is fair to say? Because in my experience, an elegant woman first and foremost demonstrates her good character and does not seek to criticize or condemn others, even those wearing a denim dress.
Anna's (life-)style is about looking/acting expensive and luxurious, Rachel's style is about dressing classy for any occasion (even those occasions that Anna would not deem elegant enough to attend). Both are elegant and beautiful in their own way, but I have yet to see Anna wear something that wouldn't get ruined at a backyard barbecue. I personally prefer Rachel's approach where you're allowed to be laid back and have fun as long as you keep the S.O.F.A. method in mind.
@MarlenaJoy I've always been unsure about denim as I have always thought of it as a material for doing laborious tasks in. However, many elegant women have worn denim including denim dresses in public, for example, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wore a denim dress when meeting Sir David Attenborough. I suppose it is about wearing denim at the right occasion. Anna Bey often gets things wrong so I would take her advice with a pinch of salt as they say.
Rachel, you have such a beautiful mind and a beautiful soul. Your videos are full of wisdom. It's sad that you have stopped recording, but one can only hope that you will return one day.

I just found your Channel looking for a belt for my denim dress. I got almost the same dress . Golden goose brand with Peral buttons . The belt that comes with the dress is just denim and is making the dress look blah. I love ever outfit that you put together. I disagree about matching handbags with shoes and belts; I feel that too much matching of accessories looks dated, ageing and contrived.
