Hey guys, was thinking about production quality while watching these last two in light of recent events and it reaffirmed my belief that you guys can really tell a story and make it fun while looking great. I tried to think of what equipment really mattered and what was maybe not so much. The section you did with the phone wishing us Merry Christmas was as well defined on delivery as the Lumix camera stuff, and the audio came through fine, so I have to conclude you can make decent first-person-view wide angle close scenes with the phone. That leaves more distant scenes from a first-person perspective, and of course the aerial perspective from the drone. You're getting some super great aerial scenes, it really helps tell the story, and it's kinda become your trademark so I'd say that's a critical component. Not to mention fighting the police for it. 😋 For distance shots and zooming, check this out: amazon.com/gp/product/B01A60SXSO/ref=as_li_tl There's a UA-camr who gets good stuff with it, you can check him out at JC Travel Stories. There's really no need to haul those big cameras around, calling attention like they do, when stealth is beneficial. The small benefit in very low light situations doesn't seem worth the risk of ostentatiousness. Those big mics with fat windscreens are unnecessary from a technical perspective; their main purpose is to lend an air of professionalism and seriousness to the holder - a form of calling attention hardly suitable to stealth operations. There are external mics which provide the pattern of choice (omni, cardioid, shotgun) in a much smaller and more discreet package. Till then, the internal mics do a reasonably fair job. You can learn to apply level adjustments, equalization, and compression to your audio clips as part of the editing process to continually improve your final product without the need to display all the attention grabbing expensive looking filming gear. I hope that helps. Be glad to talk more if you like. Be willing to fly down and carry gear to you if you cover the cost of transportation and the gear, and put me up while there. Feliz año nuevo - cheers! 🍻

Those huge smooth perfect stone blocks were made a very ancient civilization that predated the Inca. If you look above them you will the Inca work that was added.

Hi Artika! Unfortunately we think many people are involved including the police and the hostel owner! So we will never get our gears back! We just want to get out of Peru ASAP! 😣😣😣
@@artikadhawan4752 How? They take coin for looking the other way. Some even alert the purpetrators to a potential target. Then if the victims seek their help, they convincingly assure the victims that they're on their side. They've got it down to an art. Not all, of course, but that's how.

gabriel arturo tucto castañeda Thank you very much ❤️🙏🏻🤗👍🏻😉👋🏻
Too bad they eat those beautiful creatures. I was hoping they used for their fur only. Guinea pigs yes I was aware they ate those.
Didn't they say they wait for them to die on their own first? I thought that's what they said.
No way jose could I eat either one of those.
They eat guinea pigs like we eat chicken! It’s not so common to eat alpacas now because they are more profitable alive! Yes, for the fur they don’t kill the animals.

Oh ok. I knew they didn't kill for fur, but I thought you meant for meat too, to which didn't make sense to me.
@@leaw yeah I dont eat chicken either though. Glad they dont eat alpaca as much anymore.
@@zippitydodaday6037 maybe. I didn't hear that.
Did you find out any clue of them who stole your gares.....
Hi Artika! Unfortunately we think many people are involved including the police and the hostel owner! So we will never get our gears back! We just want to get out of Peru ASAP! 😣😣😣

We suspected that from the beginning. We know the culture... Tough lesson, well learned though. Luckily you will emerge better than ever!
How can police involve in this thay are here for our safity not to stole other things😡😡😡

How? They take coin for looking the other way. Some even alert the purpetrators to a potential target. Then if the victims seek their help, they convincingly assure the victims that they're on their side. They've got it down to an art. Not all, of course, but that's how.
Stop picking on Trent!
😁😁👍🏻
