It depends on the time of day and occasion. I tend to prefer Essenza for day and casual wear and Profumo for night, evening out and more formal occasions. They are both great fragrances. I'm not as fond of the original, but it is still very good, in my opinion.

I tested Essenza today. Hot at 36C. Humid. Sprayed on my neck, chest and shirt. Turned into skin scent after 2 hours but smelled really clean and refreshing. The scent on the shirt lasted for about 6 hours. This is so far the best cologne I've ever had.

Can u please do a video of the fragrances that project and last well in our conditions (Indian humid weather) during the daytime. I took my Sauvage to India which is a performance beast in my opinion when I am here in Melbourne Australia. In India I just could not smell it at all even after doubling the no of sprays I usually do when I am in Australia.

Hi Joy, great comparison review, you hit the nail on its head! I have and love all three, but use the original only in extrem heat/humidity as a cologne, Essenza as normal day time perfume and on colder days or night I go with Profumo. Looking forward to you in depth review of Essenza. BR, Dan.
Great video and informative advice. I live in a cold country - Sweden! Or winters go down to -20C and summers are rarely over 25C. Sounds like I should go with the Profumo?
PE red is always gonna be in my collection.i treat it as an original fragrance because to my nose they are different in many ways and it lasts and projects better
Nice video! The original reminds me of the nineties when I was in elementary school and pretty much all the male teachers were wearing it :-) ADGP is also my favorite (and I'm not even 30 yet!).
I will use Profumouhh, summer scent and Spring especially. It's a good signature scent just like the other ADGs are. Its just incense slightly more mature feeling/cooler weather. Not so tropical heat. It's a bit cooler overall, all the time. Here in Finland

So, I have been using some other fragrances in summer until I came across Essenza. Now, I spray Platinum Egoist, Gorse, Essenza, Allure Homme Edition Blanche, etc in summer. I tried Profumo and I din't like it. Too dark and spicy. Just not my type. Also, my friend uses it through out the four seasons and I didn't like what he was projecting.
I sniffed Essenza for the first time and almost choked the smell was just too overpowering.. however, the Profumo is the baddest, lovely, sexy and magical.. I just got the Profumo Special Blend and I tested both and you can tell there is a little bit difference overall they are both amazing..wondering if you have sniffed the Special Blend..thanks
For Asian or middle easterns or Indo/Pak. Try Perfumo on your skin and leave it and smell back. For most people it won’t work. Dry down on skin for that region is nasty. Perhaps due to our diet or etc. For Europeans it works different on their skin
the first one last diferently from day to day becouse of what you eat. what you eat influences the composition of your sweat and some chemicals can make smel fade away faster or worse,it can change the smell to something that you may not like. you should test it with one day eat spiced food,other day eat salty food,other day some fat food/sweeter. you will notice a diference in duration,projection and with the salty food ,even diferent smell.

I think the original is still getting worse in longevity. I bought another bottle recently as my last ran out. Doesn't seem to last as long at all. I have profumo, love it but I think I'm over it. Essenza I got over. It became very sour smelling for some reason the more I wore it everyday.

i have both the profumo and the originator should i get the Essenza? normal weather where i live is 5-20 Degree C.
The Essenza is better for warmer days for its crisp freshness. Profumo is better for colder days for its smoky/earthy base.

For me - Essenza is not the same as adg original.. Its fresher profumo
