Everyone is talking about that sculpture on case #3 being creepy but i think the video clip shown on #2 is way creepier...the silence broken by duct tape and a bag...you KNOW what's happening off screen....ugh.
I KNOWWWW. Maybe it's because I'm used to crappy reconstructions, but the sculpture just made me roll my eyes and wonder if they could get in Carl Koppleman or someone else who actually knows how to do forensic reconstructions. The video clip, OTOH... my eyes grew wide and my jaw dropped because, as you said, "you KNOW what's happening off screen".
I just wasn't ready for that picture though, I looked down to my bowl of cereal and when I looked back up it scared the crap out of me. The video clip is pretty horrifying though.
Different times honey. Back then, a 5 yo disappeared, sometimes the police decided they walked away on purpose. 14 yo is able to get married. For the good and bad of it, the government has been taking over our lives for decades.
I know it seems irresponsible, but in more innocent days, no one thought anything of it. I walked to school until I was 10, and I only stopped because we moved to a different town. In fact, in those days you often didn't use a school bus unless you lived more than a mile away from the school or had to cross a dangerous road. Nowadays we wouldn't allow it, but you can't blame people who lived in safer times or areas for believing their children were safe.
@@lizhjelmeseth5485 I agree 100%. Nance was already active in Montana before that little girl was killed. People there knew that there was a monster among them; just the fact that these crimes were happening in the area (regardless of who committed them) should have been reason for caution.
Anybody involved in investigations that get “tunnel vision” and lie or exaggerate to try to prosecute/frame an innocent person deserves serious punishment. But we all know there’s no justice in the justice system. 🤷🏼♀️
@Log Splitta obviously you don’t understand I was talking about the specific cases of unjust and not every single goddamn case in the entire justice system to have ever existed. Wow.
@Log Splitta you’re pathetic for going out of your way to be an ass to someone who not once asked for your opinion and surely didn’t ask for your degradation because you fail to pick up on social cues.
Nah every case I’ve heard about lab technicians getting tunnel vision and producing wrong results, have always gotten fired. Even the cases of them accidentally testing the wrong samples have gotten them fired
Damn every single person on this list is bad ass. Mad respect for Doug. I saw a documentary and it featured this lady who was a freelance escort and a client came to her house and she was outside gardening so she had like a hoe or a rake or something in her hand so when the guy pointed a gun at her she swung around and hit him in the head with the garden tool and then grabbed his gun and shot him in the head without a second thought. Bad fucking ass. Turned out the guy was actually a serial killer who went around killing prostitutes and the police didn't even know he existed but when they tested his DNA to several unsolved cases he was a match.
Viva all of those survivors! Just goes to prove that going quietly is almost never the best option. Raise hell, you might die, but you might make it too. If you cooperate you will go down 99% of the time.
Phil Duncan I think it was the killing season! It's not like a movie length documentary but more of like an investigative tv show. There's some REALLY crazy stuff they find out. Like this other thing that I'm pretty sure was also the killing season (it might've been the killing fields though? I watched them both around the same time) where they talk to a convicted serial killer and the guy was just talking about this serial killer club he was in and was just. Talking about the other members like "oh yeah old Jim was in it too. He was a trucker and he had a tattoo of the roadrunner" it was wild.
The case of The Lisk sisters is so heartbreaking. The poor parents. And I imagine Evonitz used the sisters love for each other to control them. Thanks to Kara, who escaped, that particular repulsive monster was stopped. She's a true heroine.
That young girl, grew up to be a cop, taking her life back, refusing to be a victim, has amazed us... She's a strong person, and earned respect... She saved dozens of other victims lives...I will pray for her...
the reason why they make them like that is because near relative will know the known marks in their face. I am not so good in english, but can try to explain. Sometimes they can't know all like did they have big lips or not or what haircolor the person had and stuff like that, so they have to instead accentuate facial features that near relatives or friends will recognize.
OMG wow, the Wayne Nance story reminded me of something from my earlier days of being online! You see, I used to associate with people interested in the Doe Network website, and one of them was this young teenaged girl (or girl in her early twenties?) who had these physical disabilities and spent her free time either reporting images of child pornography she spotted online or tried to figure out the identities of unidentified decedents. One of them was this teenager Nance lived with and she spent a lot of time trying to figure out who the girl was before she (the girl who was an acquaintance of mine) died around 2005. Then in 2006, when the teenager was finally identified, the Doe Network put up a special dedication to this former acquaintance for spending as much time as she did trying to figure out her ID, and people were saying they hoped she could be satisfied about that identification in the afterlife. I'll still remember spending a long time staring at that photo of the unidentified girl and wondering if she would ever be identified, just like I wondered if they'd ever find Jaycee Dugard, and now both have happened.
Would love if you added the death of Dimebag Darrell Abbott in one of your videos. He was the guitar player for Pantera that was shot on stage, while performing, by an obsessed fan. Would love to see what you come up with. Thanks.
christine paris The only video is from backstage, facing out towards the crowd. It's show Nathan Gale cross in front of the camera, gun up. After a while, the officer can be seen come in front of the camera after shooting Gale with a shotgun. There isn't much video, but, if there was more it would be disturbing. The whole story is tragic. Especially to his diehard fans.
Trendkiller THAT'S what I saw! I don't want to see the murder, I just remembered seeing something about it a long time ago...i just couldn't remember exactly what it was. Keith Richards wrote in his bio, that they had to get people to watch out for the safety of Mick Jagger really early on, since several people had sworn to kill him. They also had a doctor travel with them, in case he was shot. Altamont cemented the danger in performing for musicians (and audiences).
Criminally Listed has the paranoia flowing freely. Just don't hitchhike across the country or ermm sit outside in your garden and you should be fine :/

I was stationed up in Quantico at the time. Used to hang out all the time at my buddy’s house in Spotsy. He had 3 young girls at the time, crazy to think about that.
Hearing about the girls taken from their front yards is chilling. Tina Fey the comedian from SNL was at her grandmother's house playing in the front yard when a man with a box cutter, cut her face I'm not certain if he was trying to abduct her. But that is a story I saw somewhere recently.
Rita Massey Krielaart damn thats messed up. I can't understand how someone could do things like that to children. What could possibly be going on in someone's head to be able do these things?
My best friend Ronnie(Ronelle) Eichstedt was kidnapped and murdered when we were little in 1992, we were 10 . She was taken from her street in front of her house out in the middle of nowhere farming area no neighbors on a dead end street in Ripon Wisconsin (pop like 2K maybe less at the time) while riding her bike, when her sister my other friend Reggie went inside to take a nap... She was taken. Reggie blamed(s) herself to this day for it cause she was watching her. Ripon is a place that NEVER saw anything like this happen. 5 weeks later she was found like 100 miles away, raped and asphyxiated. David Spanbauer was her boogy man. He died in prison I think. He deserved worse. I think this happening to me made me become obsessed with true crime stuff, movies shows Criminally Listed! RIP Ronnie. You'd be 36 this year, I think about you all the time. Everytime a child goes missing I hear about. It brings me back to 1992 where Ronnie is forever frozen in.
Mollie Rose some features are exaggerated so there is a chance someone might recognize them. There was one instance that a picture had super chubby cheeks and a family member instantly saw her runaway daughter.

Thank you for covering the bone collector in Albuquerque. I’m born and raised in Albuquerque and I went to school with the 15 year old victim Jamie Barelas. She disappeared in 9th grade and she was such a bubbly happy go lucky girl. I didn’t fit in very well in our middle school days and Jaime was always very nice to me. RIP. I do think the killer was Lorenzo because if Jaime and her cousin were hanging out in the park.. the only way for him to be able to lure two girls with him is if he was a young guy.. maybe offering to go hang and party at his place. That’s what we did back then.. we went and hung with guys to smoke weed and party. There is no way a creepy old guy would be able to grab both girls and put them in his car.. these girls were tough chola type girls!
could u post more stories with a theme similar to this one? 🙏🏻 i think im not the only person who really loves seeing the ones where the victims are able to survive and kick some ass 💓

I hate it when I notice a new video late at night after everyone else in my family has gone to bed. I gotta watch it, of course, but I get spooked out.
The Leah Peebles’ case (#2 ABQ) and her amazing father (RIP) has always stuck with me. I’m just forever haunted by it, and don’t want her case to go cold now that her father isn’t actively searching for her, as he was. Please pray for this case. It just has a special place in my heart for some reason. I hope all these ladies are found and identified soon with technology and genealogy.

I have a suggestion (I’m doing it here because this a video suggestion and not a case) What if you did a video about John and Jane doe’s that were given the wrong name.

A couple of other names that could've qualified for this list: -The so-called "Weepy Voiced Killer" was caught after he called an ambulance because an intended victim slashed him in the face with a bottle. -Nathan Elgin, who is suspected (but NOT known) to have been the Servant Girl Annihilator, was shot dead by police as a woman fended off an attack by him.

@Log Splitta fuck off
So true.
@Log Splitta no you fuck off you fucking vile piece of shit!
@Log Splitta inside you libs is a fake bleeding heart. In your type is no heart at all. Because you don’t really care about any life. Fetus, full born, or any human being outside your party. Hence all the censoring.
That first girl was magnificent, not to mention strikingly beautiful.
One tough young woman.
I remember this girl she was very courageous and pulled herself together to do this the guy was weak and very stupid and deserve what he got she was very smart cunning and very brave she deserves a lot of Praise this guy could have done it over and over and over again he got caught they did not have his DNA until this
Apparently Cara doesn't watch the movies where the girl escapes only to get caught again. I woulda found something sharp and permanently disabled him. She was lucky
Walking home at 5yrs old?!? What?!? Never.
A five year old walking home alone? 😭
Agree, five years old should never walk alone.
Different times honey. Back then, a 5 yo disappeared, sometimes the police decided they walked away on purpose. 14 yo is able to get married. For the good and bad of it, the government has been taking over our lives for decades.
Yeah... It's stupid and irresponsible. Too many pedos out to be letting your kindergarten age child roam free.
The sound of the duct tape and plastic is terrifying when you think about what's probably going on! 😨
The bitch is back ! I thought this also. Blood ran cold.
I love it n it kinda chubbed me up a little...
Ross Vegas that's Neal Falls, look him up
Viva all of those survivors! Just goes to prove that going quietly is almost never the best option. Raise hell, you might die, but you might make it too. If you cooperate you will go down 99% of the time.
Ross Vegas wow I haven't heard of that story! So crazy..
Do you know the name of the documentary?
Phil Duncan I think it was the killing season! It's not like a movie length documentary but more of like an investigative tv show. There's some REALLY crazy stuff they find out. Like this other thing that I'm pretty sure was also the killing season (it might've been the killing fields though? I watched them both around the same time) where they talk to a convicted serial killer and the guy was just talking about this serial killer club he was in and was just. Talking about the other members like "oh yeah old Jim was in it too. He was a trucker and he had a tattoo of the roadrunner" it was wild.
Ross Vegas damn that's crazy. Thanks for the info!
The 2nd best thing about that first story was that the dog bit that sleaze a few times. The 1st is Kira surviving and being a toughass lady.
Hope the dog didn't get sick.
@@MrUbiquitousTech LMAO I wouldn't bite that dude either
The case of The Lisk sisters is so heartbreaking. The poor parents. And I imagine Evonitz used the sisters love for each other to control them. Thanks to Kara, who escaped, that particular repulsive monster was stopped. She's a true heroine.
That young girl, grew up to be a cop, taking her life back, refusing to be a victim, has amazed us... She's a strong person, and earned respect... She saved dozens of other victims lives...I will pray for her...
is no one going to mention the horrifying image at 32:28 because i am NOT okay with it
Sierra Rios what the fuck ur right what even is that
Sierra Rios facial reconstruction of what the woman may have looked like
My first thought was : "You haven't identified her because NO PERSON LOOKS LIKE THAT!" - They really need to re-do that one.
Sunshine Moretti If they were going for the Grudge girl look they did a great job
the reason why they make them like that is because near relative will know the known marks in their face. I am not so good in english, but can try to explain. Sometimes they can't know all like did they have big lips or not or what haircolor the person had and stuff like that, so they have to instead accentuate facial features that near relatives or friends will recognize.
Literally been benge watching old videos just waiting for the new one today bless up criminally listed you're the best rip to all the victims
I loved that in #1 you didn't reveal that the strange 18 year old was Nance until the end.
BEST "why I became a cop origin story" to date. As he called her deputy my heart fluttered and I was just so happy, what a great survivor story!

I saw that film of him getting shot! I think...wasnt it filmed?
christine paris The only video is from backstage, facing out towards the crowd. It's show Nathan Gale cross in front of the camera, gun up. After a while, the officer can be seen come in front of the camera after shooting Gale with a shotgun. There isn't much video, but, if there was more it would be disturbing. The whole story is tragic. Especially to his diehard fans.
Damn, never heard of that. But would love to see him cover it

THAT'S what I saw!
Greetings from Scotland! Hope you're all well.

It's the slow dopey voice, I want to hear stories not fall asleep.
I live in Va and remember when the 3 girls went missing. It was so awful and frightening.
I was stationed up in Quantico at the time. Used to hang out all the time at my buddy’s house in Spotsy. He had 3 young girls at the time, crazy to think about that.
32:35 what the hell am I looking at??? None of the crime will give me nightmares, but this image is burned in my mind and it’s not cool. Wtf.
B Kal I think it is a recreated sculpture to try to help identify the victim.
I had this video on in the background and made the critical mistake of looking up right then 😖
Yeah, that image is very creepy to say the least!
Scared the shit out of me! Dear God what a terrible recreation. It's burned in my mind too....
Exactly!! Me too. lol
Hearing about the girls taken from their front yards is chilling. Tina Fey the comedian from SNL was at her grandmother's house playing in the front yard when a man with a box cutter, cut her face I'm not certain if he was trying to abduct her. But that is a story I saw somewhere recently.
Rita Massey Krielaart
WHHHAAATTTT?!!

christine paris yeah I remember seeing it that's why she has that Telltale scar that goes across her upper lip.
Rita Massey Krielaart damn thats messed up. I can't understand how someone could do things like that to children. What could possibly be going on in someone's head to be able do these things?
Rita Massey Krielaart I used to play in the guys yard in Spotsylvania...
Krystie Krystal creeks composite at 32:28 scared the shit out of me 😨 I was watching this in the dark and had to turn on a light after I saw it
You aren't alone. Scared the shit outta me too. Wtf is that doing there, I doubt that will help. Stuff nightmares are made out of.
.... why do all composites of Asian victims look like tiki masks??? ahahah.
Mollie Rose some features are exaggerated so there is a chance someone might recognize them. There was one instance that a picture had super chubby cheeks and a family member instantly saw her runaway daughter.
Criminally Listed should do an episode covering instances where a composite led to the discovery of an identity. Jane/John Does specifically.
so fucking scary... i don't feel right after watching it
the first girl was so amazing !! kudos to her 🙌🏽
Lol. “Don’t bring a knife to a gun fight” comes to mind.

mamragbe diaby He really is the kind of man that every family needs. What a guy. I hope they had a wonderful life following this and could put this behind them. They deserved the best, especially Doug.
Doug is secretly the Terminator
@@gator9339 I suspect he thought he was dead. I have read other cases where seriously wounded people do amazing things. Once you accept death you are hard to stop. Also I hope everyone watching this learns a valuable lesson. Don't let strangers in your house. He should have said "Yea wait here and I will go get the flashlight." I do hope the killer figured out just how badly he fucked up after putting 2 bullets in Doug didn't stop him. I want to believe he left this life terrified and in pain just like his victims.
Story number 1 that had to be the scariest run of Sara's life poor girl, so glad she got away. Those killers always get sloppy or older or more crazy to where logical decision making starts to get cloudy. How you take another human being away from everything, I will never understand. Good on her for becoming an officer, beautiful woman too
Sometimes these videos make me sick to my stomach but I just can't stop watching them!!
That's why I think it was a cop.
Holy jesus....32:30 wish there was a warning for that one
Wow, do you know what that's supposed to be ,

Mad props to Doug, what a hero!
What a shame that Nance couldn't be tried/convicted for the death of Pounds - it would've likely saved a whole bunch of other lives.
I have a suggestion (I’m doing it here because this a video suggestion and not a case) What if you did a video about John and Jane doe’s that were given the wrong name.
Theres a case where a young girls body was found in a town, she wasnt local, the local town adooted her and buried jer and gave her a name, years an years later they identified her and her real name was really close to the one the town had.given her. Good case
I lived in New Mexico until the year 1999. I had not heard about the poor women that were murdered in Albuquerque. I am sure it was the guy who got killed and women stopped disappearing
One of the best ones! Good to see finally these scum bags get what they deserve specially by the victims!!!!
Damn Doug’s a legend
This first and the last are truly amazing stories. Kira and Doug are remarkable individuals.
When women are missing the police should go to the media. Media coverage can help solve crimes
How things have changed. Warnock, Dem Senate candidate, has credible child abuse claims levied against him yesterday and not a single major media outlet talked about it. Almost impossible to find on google search.
@@mrjonesandme8848 maybe they are not credible abuse claims? That’s why you can’t find any evidence
@@jamesl9371 yes. There is an official recording of the complaint from about a year ago. There is also video proof, from the cop body cam, right after he tried to run over his wife. I didn't say it couldn't be found, I said MSM doesn't report it
I was on the edge of my seat when suddenly the photo of the mannequin used as a likeness for the victim "Crissy Crystal-Creek" (whose real name has unfortunately never been identified) suddenly popped up and nearly scared me to death!
A DNA testing company is going to try finding her based on forensic genealogy.
Janet Lee Lucas, formerly known as Christy Crystal Creek, was a 23-year-old woman from Spokane, Washington last seen in 1983 ... they identified her.
Always love a good midnight watch of CL
I love seeing the perverts getting caught. Hopefully more and more will get caught and these horrible crimes will become less common. I think anyone found guilty of attempted murder or rape or kidnapping should be in prison for life with no parole. Don’t give them a chance to do it again
It's scary that the forensic investigator in the first case could of destroyed an innocent mans life and let the real killer off the hook

A couple of other names that could've qualified for this list:
-The so-called "Weepy Voiced Killer" was caught after he called an ambulance because an intended victim slashed him in the face with a bottle.
-Nathan Elgin, who is suspected (but NOT known) to have been the Servant Girl Annihilator, was shot dead by police as a woman fended off an attack by him.
I live in Albuquerque and remember the West mesa case. I was only a kid around this time but i remember seeing this on tv and crying. I know the sister of one of the victims. Being reminded of cases like this makes me always cautious of who I associate with and where I go around town.
