Whilst he is clearly incredibly talented, we shouldn't forget the thousands of hours of dedicated practice and playing, writing and singing/rapping that he has accumulated to get this good... all whilst suffering unimaginable pain and mental anguish... No wonder he is revered by so many loyal fans..

Unfortunately if he ate that helping of fish & chips, he'd be bed-ridden for a couple of days - his auto-immune issues from the untreated Lyme disease are very real. He's on a strict paleo diet to try to keep his body functional. If you want to know the lad & what he's all about, he recently did an excellent longform interview with Justin Hawkins. For someone whose 20s were a living nightmare, he is for sure working hard at sharing his gift with us now. God bless him. Hopefully the surgeries & stem cell treatments are going well for him up in Calgary.
FYI, Ren can't eat it, because he on a highly restrictive diet because of his health. His stomach can't handle alot of foods since he got sick, even his favorites when he was a kid. He's hoping the treatments he's getting in Canada will help him get past that along with many other problem (the worst being the brain damage). The Lyme Disease went untreated for so long that it began eating away at his Cerebral Cortex (the membrane lining surrounding his brain). 🙏🙏for him.

But I think why he throws it down in anger is because with his auto- immunity he can only eat a few foods. So he can't eat things people would consider "normal food".
I’ve had a chronic digestive challenge since I was 4 years old & it took 33 years as well as multiple incredibly invasive procedures to find out I couldn’t digest fats or proteins well. I spent countless hours asleep on the bathroom floor & also on and bending over the porcelain thrown. Don’t dismiss someone because they can’t digest things both physically and psychologically.
He did not go back to eat the food, it was closed when they went back. But I would agree that the food would make him very ill. A great piece of music. .
