Little beauty treatment for our Porsche 924:
We installed a new exhaust from 'ROAR by Don Silencioso' with a 70x100mm oval tail pipe which definitely improves both look and sound of the car.
Obviously, the Porsche 924 has never been known for it’s powerful sound, but this exhaust gives it a nice deep roar and fits the overall appearance of this classic Porsche perfectly. The rear axle of the 924 is narrower than the front axle (1372 / 1418mm). The 25mm wheel spacers on each side not only eliminate this weird-looking difference but make it look more stable and results in slightly less roll angle when cornering. Together with the car being lowered by around 30mm the 924 gets a sporty look and a better handling as well.
Our 944 also gets some suspension upgrades and is almost ready to hit the road again, too

Hi mates! Good looking Porsche 924. I own one, and i´d like to know about the bilstein and suspension springs it has.
Yes, the Bilstein dampers are B6. Springs in the front are progressive ones which we bought at autotechnics. They are probably made by Eibach though. Rear torsion bars are still the originals. Lowered the car around 30mm. Drives nicely ;)
Where did you get the exhaust system from? It sounds amazing! Is it Becker?
Sounds very nice, lovely car! As I mentioned on Instagram, I still insist on replacing the drums with discs. Alright, the fronts do most of the stopping but the drums cause the brake fluid to heat up faster. 😉 Cheers!
I keep that idea in mind for the cold winter days! 😉

Thanks! Good choice! :) I would start to renew the important technical things, such as the timing belt, oil filter, fuel filter and so on ... you never know how old it is. Watch out for leaky fuel lines and brake lines.
A really nice video. I am in the process of restoring my Porsche 924 also in the Köln area! How did you lower yours? I can't seem to find reliable information for Germany. Additionally, did you lower it and put spacers on it? did you put spacers on only the rear?
Sorry for so many questions but I honestly love to see these cars taken care of and modified and would love to get an answer.

I lowered mine with 30mm shorter springs at the front and adjusted the rear with the Eccentric screw. For better handling I got Bilstein B6 dampers. 25mm spacers are only on the rear axle. I hope that helps! 🙂 For more info write an email or get in touch on Instagram 😉
Moin. Ich hätte mal eine Frage. Gibt es diesen Auspuff auch für den 924s und würdet ihr sagen, dass es sich lohnt ihn dran zu bauen? Bin 20 und will aus meinem n bisschen mehr Sound raus holen. Würde mich über eine Auskunft freuen. PS. Geile Videos
@soulfulmachines Auspuff steht bei mir demnächst auch an. Wird der donsilencio mit Kat geliefert? Darauf wollte ich eigentlich verzichten 😂🙈

Where did you get the wheel spacers from?
We have ordered the spacers on spurverbreiterung.de We decided to use the 'System 4 black anodized' because it fits perfectly to the black rims. Even if the stock is on red, the spacers will be custom made in 4-5 weeks after ordering.

Wo gibt es denn diese Distanzscheiben?
Vielen Dank! Die Originalfelgen wurden komplett aufbereitet. Die Distanzscheiben haben wir auf spurverbreiterung.de bestellt. Wir haben uns für das 'System 4 Schwarz eloxiert' entschieden da es optisch zu den schwarzen Felgen perfekt passte. Auch wenn der Lagerbestand auf rot steht werden die Distanzscheiben nach der Bestellung in 4-5 Wochen eigens angefertigt.
@@soulfulmachines Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Ich bin jetzt auch endlich mal zu den Distanzscheiben gekommen. Was habt Ihr denn noch für Dämpfer verbaut rundum?
@@platinmetallic3797 Wir haben im 924 und 944 die Bilstein B6 verbaut. Die sind sportlicher als die Serie aber immer noch recht komfortabel.
