Great review! You cover the important parts like comfort while heavy, and accessible pockets while walking and other details.
Did you have to cut anything to remove the top cover?

Hi, so what are the updates for this pack? How do shoulder straps perform with heavier weights? Is it easy enough to remove and put back water bottles into side pockets on the go?

Which would you choose between the Exped Thunder 70 and the Osprey Aether Pro 70? You given them both stellar reviews. I would imagine that the Osprey is more comfortable, but the Exped has some more convenience with the mesh pockets and the front loader. I have the Exped lightning 60 but I always find the shoulder straps and waistband uncomfortable, actually I get some bruising from the waistband on long hikes. Cheers 👍

This is a very appealing pack given the adjustment and frame. Would you possibly be able to do a comparison video between this latest version and the older version?

I don't actually have the older one anymore. So I don't have access to it unfortunately. The biggest differences are weight and materials

@@Backpackinglightse Thank you for responding so quickly - I've just found your video on the older one so shall refer to both videos to see which version suits best. There don't look to be many videos out there on the new version.
