Sinclair Ferguson's story reminds me of the British actor Stephen Fry. Fry claims to be an atheist and argues against the existence of God because of suffering on earth.
However, when he does this he often gets quite angry. He gives the appearance not of believing that God doesn't exist but of hating the God that deep down he does believe exists.

This is why I can't accept Calvinism. I love much of the teaching from many calvinists. But cannot believe that God created anyone with intent to send them to Hell.

4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
We had a choice in Adam to choose life or death. We chose death and it’s consequences. The are 2 types of people. One receives God’s mercy. The other does not. Both are under judgement to start. Mercy is not some thing you deserve but is granted freely despite being sinners.
That advertisement is wrong. Genesis is not poertrym its historical narrative. Hebrew poetry is the Psalms (songs actually), Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon. Christ took Genesis literally. He would of course since He was there.
Try providing evidence that your invisible sky fairy even exists before demanding that I worship him.
