this is easily one of my favorite mammoth club videos of all time! john williams is just so amazing and honestly no matter what the score, his music will always be life changing and meaningful! thank you for highlighting him!!
This is such a fun way to pay tribute to a man who is responsible for the sound of so many iconic films. So many of us have heard John Williams music before we even knew his name.
I was born in 1964. The impact of movies like Star Wars, ET, Indiana Jones and Superman!! There are no words! I can be ANYWHERE and hear the music and the feeling of nostalgia is overwhelming. I’m not into composers and scores but now I truly have an immense respect for John Williams. Thank you for this wonderful video!!
I loved today’s video. I feel like John Williams has written the soundtrack of my life. From Superman to Star Wars, E.T. to Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park to Harry Potter, all these films and more have shaped my love of movies. John Williams is a national treasure and we are so lucky to have had him making such iconic music for so long.
As a French Horn player, John Williams is my all-time favorite composer ever! The French Horn parts in his songs are just so poignant and powerful! He captures so many emotions in his themes and I just gush every time
It’s amazing how many times I cried watching this video 🥹 Just hearing a short clip of his music moves me to tears. He is so very talented. Thank you so so SO much for this amazing video!
All of my favorite movies were composed by John Williams. Jurassic Park, Home Alone, all of the Indiana Jones, all of the Harry Potter movies, etc. This is an amazing video idea! Thank you! 💛🎶
As a music fan and band nerd, thank you!! John Williams has always been a hero, not only because he's amazing.. but because I'm a horn player, and the man has written so many epic horn parts. I just recently reclaimed part of who I used to be (after years of making my stressful job my only priority) by joining a concert band and getting the horn back out. After kicking off a little rust I jumped back in and haven't looked back.. it's been one of the best things I've ever done. Because making and listening to music has healing powers, and shoos away some of the stress. So thank you again for shining some light on one of the greatest composers of all time.. it's like a hug for the band kids 😊
Jurassic Park is definitely a 10. It's one of the most iconic, immediately recognizable themes in the world, right up there with Star Wars and the Walt Disney Pictures theme.
Excellent vid! John Williams is a worldwide treasure! Can’t be many people who haven’t heard his music at some point in their life. His music brings about so much emotion! #allthefeels
The best. As a gen x band teacher, John Williams' music was quite literally tue soundtrack to much of my life. Thise are the movies we watched and that is the music we loved to play, and that inspired us to continue playing. Im also proud of you two for recognizing his genius and speaking intelligently about his music and career. Music is life.
Definitely a GOAT episode. Maestro Williams’ music is known by more people than any other musician ever. His contributions to art are second to none. Also: Superman chefs kiss. Nothing better to ride a motorcycle to.
I am a retired elementary music teacher. I put John Williams up with the greats. The Bach and Beethoven of our time. He’s genius. Very nice job Alan and Molly!
This is one of the best Mammoth Club videos. This past summer, we couldn't help notice that all the best rides at Disney, Universal and Legoland have a Chris Pratt pre-show. I think a Chris Pratt video would be top notch. And if Andy Dwyer got some love during it too, we wouldn't be mad.
Brilliant!! This is the type of video is what sets y’all apart from the rest. Keep up the originality and keep trusting those amazing instincts of yours!!
FANTASTIC video. Thank you. Can you even imagine what movies would be like without the composers who write these movie scores?? John Williams and his scores are iconic. 🎵🎶
The fact that I have the same birthday as this legend and this is how I discover it!!! (I’m gonna brag about this all the time) This video is amazing, I love how you guys do very educational and detailed videos like this they all always the best ☺️
I'm trying to find videos on different cruise lines, and you know what... no content creators compare to Mammoth Club. You guys are the best! Please do a series on cruises other than Disney (with a special request for Regal Princess).
While I love me my STAR WARS, the SINGLE BEST John Williams score is E.T. The fact that Spielberg edited the end of the film around the score is testament to its EPIC status. It deserves an 11!!!!!!!
Yet again, you all come up with a brilliant video to honor the amazing work behind the rides and lands in the parks! What a great video and fun tribute!
One of my husband and I's favorite episodes ya'll have done! A great way to pay tribute to such an amazing man. We got goosebumps hearing his music throughout the episode! We love Mammoth Club and always look forward to new episodes every week!
Such a well done video - loved how you included clips of the music and the quotes from John Williams ... you know, if he keeps at it, I think he might be able to make a career out of this music thing!
Thank you for this video. I think this is my favorite video you have ever done. I’m 44 years old and John Williams has always been apart of my life. I often say he wrote the soundtrack to my childhood. Throne Room from A New Hope, Raider’s March from Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Superman main theme are my absolute favorites. I listen to at least something of his almost on a daily basis still. He is an absolute treasure and I am so happy he became a Disney Legend. Once again, thanks for making this video and I hope it inspires even more people to listen to his music that might not.
Guys!!! What a beautiful ode to such an incredible, talented, life changing human being! Loved this video and how much you seem to have enjoyed making it! 🫶🏻
What a fabulous idea for a challenge, thank you so much for highlighting the excellent Disney+ documentary and for taking us with you on this tribute. I'm a classic movie buff so discovering that JW was part of one of my absolute favourite films (Billy Wilder's 1960 movie The Apartment) was jaw dropping. Personally, my own subjective IP biases place The Raiders March as my fave film score of-all-time. It thrills the blood and makes me grin like an eejit! I understand what Alan meant by the slower movements, but that's Marion's theme and I love me some Marion Ravenwood. There's also a wee key change just towards the end, when the score starts to build up again and it kills me. Love your choices and score scores too, like you say - there are no wrong answers!
This may not have been one of your normal videos, but I enjoyed it immensely. I agree that the music of John Williams made those movies great and memorable. You hear just a few notes, and you know the movie, and he created those. Thank you for doing this, and I will be watching the documentary on Disney+.
This is absolutely fantastic! The documentary is superb; I was ridiculously emotional while watching it! Thanks for creating such a fun video (per usual)!!!
I absolutely loved this❤️Can’t wait to see which one you guys do next❤️It’s crazy to think about the impact this man has had and set the tone for so many amazing movies…throughout our lifetime. Loved it❤️
I never knew John Williams did so many iconic scores. This video was awesome. As a band kid we played a lot of John Williams. And my band teacher also had us learn the Star Wars theme, and Indiana jones theme too! Also when Alan was telling Molly about all of the Star Wars lore is me and my wife when I try to tell her about my books 😂
This was so cool. I'd love to see more like this, and more of the Snacks and Facts series! It would be neat to maybe see something doing a deep dive into some of the imagineers like Mary Blair or Rolly Crump at some point!
This one shot right to the top as my favorite video you folks have ever done! Allen, Binary Sunset is one of my favorite Star Wars moments too. I was 6, and even though I hadn't a clue what a "crush" was, I got my first one for Luke Skywalker right then. I would love to see more content along this same line in future.
This was an amazing video, I connect so deeply with music for movies and there just is no one who does it as well as John Williams. Thanks for such amazing content
This was such a video!!!! We’re now talking about going through the parks this way thanks to you guys. Pick a theme and find those rides/attractions, etc. seriously so so fun. Loving the new formats. Also I’m pretty sure we were at the same cinesational show, also trying not to freeze 😂
John Williams is so amazingly talented, such iconic soundtracks that are all each different but you can hear his style in the music. Love it! Love this tribute video!! Thanks for making it! 🎉
John Williams is easily my favorite composer. The fact that he has worked on so many amazing franchises is a testament to this. This was a great tribute to him and his work!!
I LOVED this!! The way one person can change your emotions by bringing a tear to your eye one second and then instant terror the next is a true gift. Music inspires us all everyday whether you recognize it or not. John Williams is one of the best there ever is/was to take us on such amazing musical adventures!! Amazing job Molly and Allen!! This is one of my favorite videos you have done ❤️😃❤️😃
I LOVE that you all made a video appreciating the mastery of John Williams. My absolute favorite the Revenge of the Sith score. Padme’s Destiny is chilling and makes me cry every time. The force motif Williams included along with her death…. Tears.
We watched Cinesational 3 times on our recent visit - hearing the music of John Williams (and others) so loud, with effects, is just incredible! (Never saw the drones though - maybe because it was cold?) Tears and chills every time!
I am a huge movie score lover and John Williams is one of my favorite composers. Someone else said it, but he has been there my whole life and such an important part of it. It will be a truly sad day when he is gone, but his music will always live on. Thank you for this! ❤
Absolutely an icon in our lifetime. So many of these I grew up with and still enjoy today. And agree with Alan! Revan and KOTOR was an epic character and game! Now I want to go back and play it again…..
This is one of my favorite videos that you two have done!! John Williams is my favorite, and his music always makes me emotional. It’s so nostalgic and magical! Also, I agree with Alan about all the Star Wars music. haha Duel of Fates is EPIC and Binary Sunset is one of my favorite pieces of music ever!
I absolutely LOVED this video! Mammoth Club is really starting off 2025 with a BANG with these videos and i can't wait to see what other content you create this year.
I absolutely love John Williams' music. Thank you for this video. My favorite bit of his music is from "Star Wars Return of the Jedi" towards the end when Darth Vadar is taunting Luke during the fight on the death star. When Vadar learns of Leia and mentions turning her to the dark side, and Luke explodes from under the stairs and attacks Vadar; that music right there is one of my favorite pieces.
LOVED this!!! Dang it Molly…..I was doing my makeup and watching and then you read that and start crying and then it makes me cry. 😂🤷🏻♀️. I can’t let people cry alone! 😉
I'm glad I didn't have to pick a favorite for this video; I don't think I could! I kept trying as I was watching and then would think "oh but wait, he also did..." Such an amazing gift he's shared with us all.
This genuinely might be my favorite video. Y'all blew my mind with all the scores John Williams has ever written. I'm so flabbergasted I never put all this together. 😭
Thank you for this video. Growing up, my husband 😇 was obsessed with movie scores, especially those of Williams. We would often go to the Hollywood bowl to see him conduct and listen to the LA Philharmonic. This video brings back great memories of those times.
Okay...so..Molly...dressage in the ATL? Music is often the energy of the movie and John Williams is timeless. He will be the Mozart of our time. Loved this kind of video! You guys are awesome!
All of John Williams scores are phenomenal. Each one that you mentioned is definitely fan favorites. My particular favorite score of his is, “Far and Away.” Such a beautiful theme. Definitely worth listening to if you’re not familiar with it.
this is easily one of my favorite mammoth club videos of all time! john williams is just so amazing and honestly no matter what the score, his music will always be life changing and meaningful! thank you for highlighting him!!
This is such a fun way to pay tribute to a man who is responsible for the sound of so many iconic films. So many of us have heard John Williams music before we even knew his name.
As a former young person, mother, grandmother, and fan, there is nothing better than being educated and entertained, you guys have nailed it again
I was born in 1964. The impact of movies like Star Wars, ET, Indiana Jones and Superman!! There are no words! I can be ANYWHERE and hear the music and the feeling of nostalgia is overwhelming. I need Alan's Star Wars dissertation to be a bonus episode...love this concept, such an enjoyable and unique video!
Would also love this
“Music is there for everybody. It's a river we can all put our cups into and drink it and be sustained by it.” Amen, John! 🎶💙
As long as it’s not that East River. I think it might be polluted.
I just came here for Disney logistics to begin with, but this is my favorite video to date! Y’all are storytellers. More of this please!
As a French Horn player, John Williams is my all-time favorite composer ever! The French Horn parts in his songs are just so poignant and powerful! He captures so many emotions in his themes and I just gush every time
A salute to all film composers, but mostly John Williams. ☠️☠️😂😂
It’s amazing how many times I cried watching this video 🥹 Just hearing a short clip of his music moves me to tears. He is so very talented. Thank you so so SO much for this amazing video!
Absolutely mind blown that this man also did the Olympics and Sunday night football themes too. Thank you for this video!!
I'm such a music nerd! I teared up every time yall played a clip of his music. John Williams and Alan Menken are the absolute GOATs for me.
All of my favorite movies were composed by John Williams. Jurassic Park, Home Alone, all of the Indiana Jones, all of the Harry Potter movies, etc. This is an amazing video idea! Thank you! 💛🎶
Yes!! Home Alone!! Every song in there is perfect for the scene. “Somewhere in my memory” is tear inducing every time.
As a music fan and band nerd, thank you!! John Williams has always been a hero, not only because he's amazing.. but because I'm a horn player, and the man has written so many epic horn parts.

My wife walked down the aisle to a piano version of JP theme at our wedding
Brilliant idea!

What an awesome way to honor the maestro! John Williams is simply a genius.
Jurassic Park is definitely a 10. It's one of the most iconic, immediately recognizable themes in the world, right up there with Star Wars and the Walt Disney Pictures theme.
Yes, I would firmly, firmly, firmly put this above Harry Potter :)

Nice deep cut with Darth Revan
Love this!! Hanz Zimmer please...for the next one. The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean and so much more...
John Williams is the man! I could listen to his music for hours 🥹 no days… weeks… ten million billion
I had a tear for the Harry Potter section. The music alone brings so much magic to those films.

John Williams is amazing! My son is such a Williams need that his music history professor had him teach the John Williams unit!
Excellent idea for a video and a great way to learn a bit more about an icon with some of the whimsy we love about Disney and Universal theme parks
This is such a quality vlog. Bravo guys. Educational and so entertaining. Probably the best you've ever made. I score it a 10!

Omg, this is the challenge that my heart truly needed. ❤️ John Williams for the win. 🏆
