The guitar is gorgeous, Aaron. As always, the amount of effort you put into these videos is appreciated and always informational while being enjoyable. Nice soundtrack too...)
Awesome! I always liked black LPs, not bursts (I have one Classic). In this case I would prefer it with gold pickup rings and open coil black pickups, to make more contrast, and gold speed knobs. Now, I'm waiting for the TONES!
Ya know I have not done my own kit yet. I love a black guitar or car. Problem is the micro scratches you get and have to fix. I love the matte finish that eliminates that issue. Gibson would throw the name on the headstock and charge 4 to 5k for that.
AMBER speed knobs might also look good on this guitar! (I'm glad Warmoth went with the name "Black Gold" rather than "Texas Tea." All due respect to the Beverly Hillbillies)
i tried to get this binding on a strat neck to go with the blocks i got they told me it wouldnt be worth the cost to get the binding starting to regret the neck lowkey i knew it wouldve been so good with that binding....
Did you seat the neck by backing off each neck screw a bit at a time until the neck makes a horrific noise? Leo Fender put that in the G&L manual, and it has served me well (only with Fender-style neck pockets, just to be safe).
Came directly to ask... Has Warmoth ever made 35 scale basses? Someone is offering a so called "35" scale Warmoth bass in a forum but as far as i know there is no such thing, am i right?
NEVER present hardware and electronic parts above your beautiful finished guitar...one drop of a part and bang: a dent in the finish will be the result.
Bravo Aaron, majestic! Really like to hear the sound.
Gold Grovers and top hat knobs really would’ve completed the look for me, but it does look cool
Or gold speed knobs...

Thanks!
I woulda gone with gold dome knobs because they'd be the same color as the bridge
The binding and inlays look fabulous
Man, I am actually jealous you own that masterpiece!!! That thing looks absolutely stunning.
Oh....I don't own it. The minute the assembly and final video was done it was shipped back to the mothership. I was very sad to see it go....
That is completely SICK bro
It is a beauty! Can't wait to hear it!

That’s one beautiful guitar
Beautiful guitar.
Wil this guitar allso become available as a set neck version?
Nope, never.
Ready for the demo
Beautiful build!
Black and gold, my favorite colors like a Les Paul Custom black beauty! Let's hear it?
I wonder how versatile this guitar is going to sound in the next video.
Awesome build. Looking forward to the sound demo 🤘🏻
man, great work Aaron! It's not easy to build the whole guitar beginning to end while filming. You made it look easy!
I feel so SEEN right now. LOL. Thank-you for acknowledging how difficult it is to film and assemble a guitar all by yourself.
Enjoyed these videos cheers
One more video left.....prepare to experience the TONEZ!

That came out great! I think you guys are really on to something by creating sets...such a great idea!
Congrats Mr Aron, she's lovely....
Aaron, making us wait til the next vid to hear that beauty is just….”uncivilized” 🤣
AMBER speed knobs might also look good on this guitar!

You sure know how to tempt me!
Can't wait for the next video to see how "versatile" the guitar sounds. (If you know, you know LOL)
How much would the set cost?
Cool axe,as always its Aaron what is he cooking up now, never boring, and he has great tips
Thanks 👍

When is the kid going to launch? I'm local-ish and have been wanting to build a Warmoth and this thing amazing.
Slated for May 15.
🤘
Needs some Optima Gold strings. 😊
Dude thanks
lost the battle for texas tea but not the war for a great axe
Remember the Alamo.
@@warmothwhy not split the difference and call it the Jed or Jethro?
or if you're feeling crazy, Granny?
no gold warmth logo?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
No foil shielding tape? I am shock...
10/10 😍
I always thought it's easier to do the wiring before installing it. Easier to solder and such.
I've done that before as well. Pro and cons both ways, so it usually comes down to what I'm in the mood for. LOL.
Did you seat the neck by backing off each neck screw a bit at a time until the neck makes a horrific noise? Leo Fender put that in the G&L manual, and it has served me well (only with Fender-style neck pockets, just to be safe).
But of course! Anything less would be uncivilized.
@@warmoth 🥂
The only way to improve that axe is to use Maxima Gold Strings.
Looks good! What is the weight?
I didn't weight it before I shipped it back, but I would guess after playing it a bunch that it clocked in at about high 8 or maybe 9lbs.
Don't suppose you'd ever sell prebuilt models of these? These are my perfect guitar!
Nope. Guitar *parts* is what Warmoth does best, and we have no plans to change that.
@@warmoth full respect for sticking to what you do. Guitar building is fun. I shouldn't be lazy 😂
Nice guitar. It would have been beautiful in black gloss finish. The matte finish with gold components doesn't make any sense to me...
3 will be available in gloss back, and the other 3 will be available in satin.
Yep.

Not that I am aware of, but I suppose it's always possible if it's from the very early days. Ken made some really crazy stuff back then.
Sounds like you lost the battle to call it "Texas Tea"

My name is Fearless.
Damn that's badass, what's gonna be the price for this kit?
