I love both of the openings, even though we only heard LiSA opening in episode 4, I think it really suited it. For that episode anyway. Lia's one is so beautiful I actually had a tears running down my face :')
For those who never worked it out, he gave Angel his heart. The crazy stuff at the start was the surgery and 'post pump delirium '. It all really took place in a few hours.
That's why she had to leave the school. As did all the others, they were called back. But it was still a lovely story and I could watch it again tomorrow and Monday too!

It has been 13 years. I really miss those times.
i first watched Angel Beats like in 12 or something and it is my first contact with anime and i cry hard and it left a unremovable mark in my heart. I only watched it once and now i cant even remember exactly how is it but everytime i think of it or listen to this op it it will trigger my emotion from nowhere. It just plain emotion that make me cry everytime. I have made a wish to not watch it again even i will have the desire everytime i remember it. So i could watch it again on the day the end of my life and left it be the last things i experience.

Wow, the uptempoing that normally accompanies live performances really suits this song, I wasn't expecting it to hold up in a "rock remix" sorta situation, but I actually like it even a little more like this.
