Wow what a great production.Loved the pics and history.I was working the mine during the slide. They sure did eliminate the town of Lark . At least Bingham/copperton still a nice area.So many changes over the years.
Countless memories of Lark after we left Bingham (many memories there too) and my grandparents moved to Lark. For a time they owned the Driftin bar and not mentioned too is the cafe my grandmother opened from an old gas station at the S/E corner or Lark called The Circle of Friends cafe. Walking the hills exploring and hunting rabbits or playing in the Lark sand dunes, priceless memories. Later in 1979 I'd go to work at Kennecott and revisit a lot of old places in Lark, Copperton and Bingham.
Hi, I really enjoy your video of Lark. I would like to research Herriman, Utah. Do you know of any old maps or something that would show what the property was used for prior to the developers building. I'm not sure if it was farmland or just undeveloped land? Do you know of any resources for this?
Thanks for liking the Lark video. Look on Facebook Riverton Utah groups, Langford Lloyd has a lot of maps around this area. It was mostly farm lands for a long time.
