Many to choose from, but ultimately W11 for being the outright fastest F1 car ever on most circuits. I'd also be okay with other cars from the last five seasons or even a present one, as well as some later V10-era cars, RB6/7, etc.

Idk if anyone else noticed this but at 4:35 as he enters the last corner he throws his head into it like muscle memory. Fascinating to see those little instincts
About Singapore and Nico, In 2008 when the "crashgate" scandal was in play, Nico worked his way up into P2 only to finish behind the Renault of Alonso which was helped to victory by one Flavio Briatore. Could have been a first win 4 years before the actual 1st win
That is assuming all the variables would have played out the same IF that scumbag Bliatore didn't call for Fittipaldi to hit the wall. That Lifetime ban should have stuck.
Nico I seriously think you should start a sim racing stream. Watching you drive virtually here is simply beautiful and watching you compete in iRacing would be EPIC!
I could say the Mercedes W11 because it’s the greatest piece of machinery ever, but I’d never be able to reach its full potential due to an inherent lack of skill
I think it's safe to say that Alonso's title-winning Renault R25 is on everyone's list of cars we have all dreamt of driving. The sound of the v10 alone still gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it. It is the definition of iconic.
Ferrari F2004, it’s a car of the history and though I’m not a Ferrari fan I have many reasons to choose this car, W11 is great but we’ve witnessed it and we know how it would feel and sound. What’s amazing about the f2004 it’s super fast and driving it with slicks would be crazy and the screaming sound of the v10 would make everything so much better. It would be amazing to experience something I haven’t already.
The williams fw11 from the British Grand Prix 1987. No frills just pure horsepower. Fantastic era for formula 1. I’m sure with the technology of today f1 could produce the same performance using man made fuels. Love the videos nico keep them coming….. 👍🏻👍🏻
I'd love to drive the F2004 - definitely the fastest-ever car if it had slicks, even more so than the W11! On an unrelated note, I got to see this year's cars up close and in real-life at my home gp for the first time, so i'm really happy!
one always makes the argument that if the f2004 had this or that it would be quicker but what if the w11 had the same weight regulations as the f2004? the w11 is undisputedly the quickest car ever to grace a grand prix and the v6 hybrids are also the most powerful engines (MUCH more torque)
@@no1washerezz also bc it's older so people would like it more, same as how people like Seb or Schumacher more than Hamilton. Maybe 15 years down the line, people will look at Hamilton the same way, with rose tinted glasses.
This was a very hard decision to make but I would pick the 2010 Red Bull RB6. It was the start of the era when Sebastian Vettel and his car really become one and absolutely blew away the competition. He would go on to win the championship in that very car and win three more in the consecutive years after, including his still-unbeaten record of 9 wins in a row as you mentioned earlier, making it all the more special.
I think the MP4/6 Marlboro Senna car from McLaren was probably the most iconic car for me. That looked like fun to rip around in. Also gotta love a V12!
If I could race any f1 race car ever, it would be Juan Pablo Montoya's 2001 Williams BMW FW23 without a doubt and I have many reasons. Growing up in Colombia around that time, his races were broadcasted on national tv and everyone including me and my dad would tune in for the race. The commentators would do such a great job at describing every battle passionately and my 8 year-old-self fell deeply in love with it all. To many he was a national hero although a controversial one at times. I vividly remember seeing the onboard footage cutting in and out as he battled the Ferraris and McLarens and I couldn't control my vocal chords mimicking those screaming engines. it was a new idea to think that he was fighting at a world-class level and doing it so competitively. That car is the reason I watch F1 today, the reason I'm watching your channel and probably even the reason why I'm a mechanic today. It is mesmerizing to imagine that this sport exists still and I'm thankful for it even if some rule changes have taken some of its magic away. All being said I love your channel and thank you for all the effort you put into bringing us these videos!
I think it would be the Ferrari f2004, I would imagine it being so surreal hearing a 900 horsepower V10 engine screaming right at the back of you. The handling also being very nimble and sensitive on the grooved tyres would make it kind of a challenge too, and it being a technical revolution too with the help of Michael Schumacher, Jean Todt, James Allison and Ross Brawn being all legends of the sport. What an experience it would be!
THE COOLEST F1 car of ALL TIME has to be the Mclaren-Honda MP4/4! That V6 engine in the hands of legends like Senna and Prost was absolute magic! I'd definitely drive that if I could!
For me, the F2004 is the car I would choose. Having up grown up with the V10s, there's nothing I would want more than to experience what driving that feels like around a track.
If I could I would definitely choose the 2009 Brawn GP, it was an absolute brakthrough and a start if a new era. By the way the first Gp that I watched was the 2016 Singapore gp that you won.
I would say definitely the Renault R25 from the 2005 season. The sound is just incredible , especially on the upshifts , sounds like something straight out of a science fiction movie. Got to have the Michelin tyres to match aswell so I can use Fernando’s weird steering technique.
I’d take the McLaren MP4/4, one of the most dominant Vehicles the sport has ever seen both in the hands of Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, it also had Gordon Murray’s hands in designing and I am fascinated by that man and his work. While I have no doubt I would be no better than a lemming in the drivers seat the idea of such a brutally aggressive drive that you have to push to the very limit to extract all you can, driving one handed as you dance on the pedals and work your way through the gears is just music to my ears and that’s not even mentioning that glorious 1.5 Ltr V6 turbo nestled behind you! Absolute insanity engineered.
The ferrari from kimi in 2007, I think it's a beatiful car and the V8 ofcourse is the best engine sound ever. Also the year was amazing as kimi won his championship which was very well deserved.
either the lotus 79 because of the ground effects along with the h pattern or the williams fw15 with the cvt simply because of all the innovations that car has brought
Nico, this one's for you. The F1 car I would choose to drive is your championship Mercedes AMG F1 W07 Hybrid. The 2016 season had a total of 21 races. Of these races, the W07 had 19 wins and a pole position start for nearly every race. What the W07 will really be remembered for, however, is the show between Mercedes teammates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. The fighting was intense, but Rosberg ended up on top by Dubai, then abruptly retired after becoming the 2016 Formula One World Champion.
If i could choose to drive one F1 car it would be the 2020 Mercedes W11😀🏎. The sheer amount of grip in that thing was insane. The thing was a rocketship on rails.🏎🏎
I think it would be your father's car the Williams FW08. It was the most iconic car for me during the mid 80's. Gotta love the V8 roaring behind you. Very underrated car and I think it deserves more popularity.
easily the W11 around silverstone or canada. silverstone because of the sheer grip of the car and the fast corner nature of the track, And canada because it is my home race!. TheW11 is a masterpiece of a car, theres a reason we call it the fastest car ever designed
I've recently delved into the world of F1 and got the F1-23 to enhance my understanding of the sport. It's truly heartwarming to see how Nico generously shares his knowledge - such wholesomeness is admirable. Big thumbs up, Nico! You've earned yourself a new subscriber!!! Hi Nico, im from Singapore! personally I would choose the McLaren MP4-20, the livery and colour is simple yet elegant. The car was fast but sadly unreliable which cost them the 2005 world championship! but Alonso was unreal that season.
I'd love to drive MP4/4 cause I would love to experience what feelings the great legend Senna felt and to have the honor of having something in common with such a big legend Senna
Thanks Nico you just helped me to master for me personally the hardest track in the world. If I could drive any F1 car it had to be the Lotus 79, why…well for I think its the best looking, driving and the biggest game changer of F1 cars
RB7, blown diffuser paired with the v8 is my favorite sounding car plus it has an interesting style of driving due to the blown diffuser adding more downforce the more you throttle.
The F2004 no question. I may sound biased but I have a lot of fond memories with the car. The sounds and the dominance of that car was just memorable for me. I would drive it but I'd just crash it
It has to be the McLaren MP4/4. I know it’s a simple answer, but it’s just so iconic, and to sit in the same car as the likes of Senna and Prost would just be legendary.
I would love to drive the old lotus cars from the 70s just because they are one of the most successful teams in f1 and they don’t exist now a days! And they invested modern ground effect that is such a big part of formula one now a days.
I think it would be very interesting to drive in a Lotus 25 from 1963 to see how different the car feels and how much they have changed in the past 60 years
Could you guys get Nico to use a more recent version of the cars they use today? Formula Alpha or VRC? Would be much more helpful regarding the track analysis
Mercedes W11 would be my pick. The fastest F1 car of all time, with the most grip. Being able to drive it around corners at full throttle would truly be something. And also totally dominant that season
I’d have to say my pick of all time #F1 car I’d like to drive would be #Schumachers 1993 Benetton. Absolutely loved that car, that era when we had real F1 cars with real engines and that hair raising engine sounds, plus I totally adore Michael Schumacher and no doubt we all miss seeing him so, so much! Cheers Nico, cool vid yet again. 👍🏻
If I could choose, I would pick the McLaren from 1989. It was so fast, and created hectic battles with Senna and Alain, especially in Japan. The Marlboro livery was iconic, and made superb historical races. I would also like Alain as my teammate. Cheers, Nico!
I'd want to drive the 1993 Williams fw15 CVT prototype. Really interesting prototype that never got raced, and according to David Coulthard, it shifted smoother than he could. It was a technical masterpiece and sounds awesome.
nothing but the 2003 Williams of Montoya/Ralf. i love JPM and as far as i can remember, that car brought hell to both Ferrari and McLaren. also love the livery, simple and to the point.
Most definitely "The Phoenix from the ashes" The Brawn GP 001, at testing being a full second quicker than Felippe's Ferrari, to only having one upgrade the whole season, a new front wing. Even Seb and the RB9 with all of Red Bulls upgrades couldn't best that drive. A magical car and a deserved champion in JB. Just goes to show with clever engineering and pure determination, it's not always about the money in F1.
As much as I love RBR they really do need a new Livery change. even last year when they went with white for what was supposed to be Japan looked awesome.
I would love to drive the late 80s turbo cars, especially ones which hasnt got any boost restriction. The Williams-Honda FW11 or the 1986 Benetton BMW in qualy trim would be such a fun thing to try
Hi Nico! I would choose the 1962 BRM P57, driven by Graham Hill to win the championship that year. The BRM cars were built in my small home town of Bourne, Lincolnshire. The factory in which they are built is now an Auction house and there are still small reminders around the town of the history of the teams success. It may not be the first choice for many or considered an iconic car but to me it is a symbol that anything is possible, that if someone can build a championship winning F1 team in my small home town and beat the likes of Ferrari then the sky is the limit for my own hopes and dreams!
That is really smart to ease off a bit earlier, and gain much more later, I think it applies to many other things too. Although is easier said than done, is hard enough to take things to the limit, but knowing the limit, then shave off a touch is the next level. Nico is a world champion not just on talent and hard work alone, but also a lot of self control and intelligence.
I would love to drive the Mclaren Mp4/4 from Ayrton Senna. It is such a special car and just the amazing horsepowers and the amazing races Ayrton did with this car makes it i think special to drive.
The 1993 Williams of course!!! The FW15C (along with its racing predecessor FW14B) was, in 2005, considered to be the most technologically sophisticated Formula One cars of all time
If I could, I´d drive the 2011 RedBull, V8 screaming behind you, driving the car designed by one of the best, if not the best one and obviously to hear the blown diffuser again would be simply amazing
McLaren MP4-4 from Senna and Prost. It was a massive dominator im 1998! Greatest car of all times. I love this car, Senna was THE star in my childhood and together with the MP4-4 car a legendary combo ✌️
The Red Bull RB9 from 2013. I have never seen a driver so in tune with his car like Vettel with the RB9. Incredible car. You do have the bragging rights over it for 1-2 races though Nico😅
I love the F2004 but I would drive the renault r25 coz the engineering in that piece of machinery that led fernando alonso to win 2 titles back to back amazes me. Plus the sound of the car is ❤❤❤❤
well, would like to drive any f1 car, but i had a choise, there is list of my top cars and tracks where i'd to drive them at: - Ferrari 641 + Imola: v12 is just oh my lord, incriedeble sound despite not so strong aero package. Also Imola is one of my most favourite circuits, so this combo is>>>; - Williams FW26: again incriedeble sound of v10 engine now, better aero and + slicks would be just a beast. Also extreme power of that BMW would make it the drive of the dream on track like Spa. Long straights and fast speed corners on v10 f1 car with slicks, what can be better?; - Red Bull RB 9 around Singapore: Just adore the configuration of this Marina Bay track and drive in title winnig car accompanied by v8 sound would make it the best day of my life); - Mercedes v11 around any track: That beast would be enjoyed simply everywhere (even in Monaco or Miami). Incredible level of aero, grip, power and just everything in this car is perfect, so driving it would be pleasure x2))
I would definitely drive the MP4/4 from the 1988 season, and the reason couldn't be simpler, the most dominant f1 season ever, a legend driven by Senna and Prost, and as a Brazilian it would be unforgetable
McLaren MP4/4, Williams FW14b, Redbull RB9, Ferrari F2002 and F2004... So many legendary f1 cars, but let's be honest Mercedes W11 was something else, even if i am not a big fan of Mercedes, i would always drive and choose W11 🥂
I would honestly choose the RB9 from Red Bull in 2013, just because it was a really dominant car that year, managing to snatch 9 wins in a row by Sebastian Vettel. It was also Red Bull's last V8 Car, which also won 13 out of the 19 races in that year.
Maybe william fw14b because this car is crazy we got other cars like w11 f2004 this cars ar also cool but boring/active suspension is something that make this car so special even todays car cannot do what this car does
If I could get the chance to drive any F1 car…it’d have to be the Red Bull RB6. The V8s were my favorite engines in Formula 1, mostly because I began watching during that time. I loved the 09-13 regs as well, the cars were nimble, perfectly sized, and I have so many good memories as a kid, growing up and watching F1 early in the morning every Sunday it was on. As I was growing up an idol of mine was Adrian Newey. So to test one of his cars would be incredible, PLUS I’m a fan of Sebastian, quite a big one, so to drive the car that took him to victory of Abu Dhabi AND the championship would be genuinely be a dream come true! Hope you’re doing well Nico, you should do F1 commentating coverage more often!
Definetly the Ferrari F2004. It is a very special car. Micheal Schumacher won his 7th world title with that car. The Ferrari F2004 is just pure history
i would love the 2004 ferrari...i mean ferrari and Michael were my first idols in f1 as a kid, that car specifically for me is one of the best of all time
I'd choose the 2009 Brawn GP car. It's such an outlier and a legendary precursor to what Mercedes have built up on. Also Button was a very setup-reliant driver and from his amazing performance and championship win in 2009, I assume it'd be one of the best cars to learn how different setups would affect the handling of the car.
Will have to be a Ferrari with a V10. The F2004 probably driven by Schumacher. The speed of the car was insane, the car looked sick and the sound of the car was just ❤️.
I really like the cars just before the halo was introduced so Mercedes 2015/2016 maybe 😅 but my favourite f1 car is the W12 so I’d live to drive that as well
My favorite car to drive has to be Michael Schumacher's 2004 Ferrari. I think it is almost unnecessary to explain why. That car was so fast, the engineers had to check their clocks to make sure there was not a problem with the times recorded. But it was not just about speed but mostly handling. Trying this car would bring me as close as possible to perfection as I could ever be.
It would Definitely be the Ferrari F2004. All that horsepower and only 650 Kilos, but the awesome sound Tops it off! With slicks, it would probably be just as quick as the modern F1 cars!
Hmmm, that’s a tough one. Here are a few that I’d like to drive: -Mclaren’s 1988 MP4/4 or 1990 MP4/6 -Red Bull’s 2013 RB9 or 2021 RB16b -Ferrari’s 2004 F2004 or 2019 SF90 -Brawn GP’s 2009 BGP-01 -Williams’ 1992 FW14B or 1993 FW15C Because those cars were so dominant in their respective eras

Many to choose from, but ultimately W11 for being the outright fastest F1 car ever on most circuits.

RB9 around the Singapore track would be an experience.
I would choose the Red Bull RB7. I loved your championship car also, but the RB7 was a Beast!
I would choose to drive the 1990's mclaren mp4 /5b. It looks so amazing and the sound of v12 was incredible and was driven by legendary Ayrton Senna 🙏
For me it would definitely be the Mercedes W07. This is Nico's car, and it is the most dominant F1 car in history. Definitely a beauty.
I would love to drive the old lotus cars from the 70s just because they are one of the most successful teams in f1 and they don’t exist now a days! And they invested modern ground effect that is such a big part of formula one now a days.
i got very distracted looking at the little pigeons walking around behind nico during the lap analysis 😂
I think it would be very interesting to drive in a Lotus 25 from 1963 to see how different the car feels and how much they have changed in the past 60 years
love this one
Could you guys get Nico to use a more recent version of the cars they use today? Formula Alpha or VRC? Would be much more helpful regarding the track analysis
Gotta be the Williams fw14b because it’s so iconic. As well as having active suspension that is more advanced than even the modern cars
I would choose any of the McLaren Marbolo cars as they are so iconic and so many legends drove them.
It's so bizarre seeing a Singapore GP race in the day
nothing but the 2003 Williams of Montoya/Ralf. i love JPM and as far as i can remember, that car brought hell to both Ferrari and McLaren. also love the livery, simple and to the point.
For sure the 1992 Williams car with all the fancy suspension stuff, a car from the 90s would be an absolute blast
Just goes to show with clever engineering and pure determination, it's not always about the money in F1.
i would say the RB 9 it was Vettel's most dominant season and i like the look and the color scheme of the RB 9
As much as I love RBR they really do need a new Livery change. even last year when they went with white for what was supposed to be Japan looked awesome.
@@capo_di_capi They need to get the gloss and purple back
I would love to drive the late 80s turbo cars, especially ones which hasnt got any boost restriction. The Williams-Honda FW11 or the 1986 Benetton BMW in qualy trim would be such a fun thing to try
I would like to drive the W11. The beast.
Honestly the car(s) id want to drive would either be the McLaren MP4/4 or a Ferrari F2002! Iconic dominant cars that just look so good!!
If I could drive any f1 car I’d definitely choose the R25. It’s just a beautiful piece of machinery inside and out.
If I could, I would drive the RB5, mainly because in that year I got into F1 and fell in love with that car
7:40 these are some fresh pigeons out there 👍🐧
McLaren MP4-4 from Senna and Prost.
Plus the sound of the car is ❤❤❤❤
well, would like to drive any f1 car, but i had a choise, there is list of my top cars and tracks where i'd to drive them at:
- Ferrari 641 + Imola: v12 is just oh my lord, incriedeble sound despite not so strong aero package. Also Imola is one of my most favourite circuits, so this combo is>>>;
- Williams FW26: again incriedeble sound of v10 engine now, better aero and + slicks would be just a beast. Also extreme power of that BMW would make it the drive of the dream on track like Spa. Long straights and fast speed corners on v10 f1 car with slicks, what can be better?;
- Red Bull RB 9 around Singapore: Just adore the configuration of this Marina Bay track and drive in title winnig car accompanied by v8 sound would make it the best day of my life);
- Mercedes v11 around any track: That beast would be enjoyed simply everywhere (even in Monaco or Miami).
Nice to see you back in the seat, but appreciate what you're trying to promote too!
McLaren MP4/4, Williams FW14b, Redbull RB9, Ferrari F2002 and F2004... So many legendary f1 cars, but let's be honest Mercedes W11 was something else, even if i am not a big fan of Mercedes, i would always drive and choose W11 🥂
I would love to drive the F2004 but with Pirelli slicks
The mighty v10 with the grip slicks provide would be crazy
The jordan 191 just on its style and history of Schumachers first season
1951 BRM V16. 700hp from a 1.5L V16 with olmost 3 BAR of boost. In 1951. Insanity at its finest with the most glorious sound of any racing car.😎
i would love the 2004 ferrari...i mean ferrari and Michael were my first idols in f1 as a kid, that car specifically for me is one of the best of all time
I'd choose the 2009 Brawn GP car. It's such an outlier and a legendary precursor to what Mercedes have built up on. Also Button was a very setup-reliant driver and from his amazing performance and championship win in 2009, I assume it'd be one of the best cars to learn how different setups would affect the handling of the car.
The pigeons vibing in the background is all we needed
John Barnard's 1990 Ferrari 941/2. The purest F1 racing car ever, not to mention the most beautiful. Sleek, no frills, lots of grip, whaling engine 👌
I’d like to drive the F2004 Ferrari with current softest Pirelli tyres. Wearing 2004 Michael Schumacher race gear driving at Suzuka.
Hmmm, that’s a tough one. Here are a few that I’d like to drive:
-Mclaren’s 1988 MP4/4 or 1990 MP4/6
-Red Bull’s 2013 RB9 or 2021 RB16b
-Ferrari’s 2004 F2004 or 2019 SF90
-Brawn GP’s 2009 BGP-01
-Williams’ 1992 FW14B or 1993 FW15C
Because those cars were so dominant in their respective eras
