If you've been watching me for a while, you've probably seen some of my heat-free hairstyling techniques. My favorite has to be sock curls. I've been wanting to show you my updated version of it for a while now, so here it is....
Spend 3 minutes putting 3 socks in your hair & wake up with bouncy, dolly curls!
*The curls will look super crazy when you first take out the socks in the morning. I suggest removing them and breaking up the curls as soon as you wake up. Allow the curls to fall a little as you go through your morning routine. Then you can decide if it's tamed enough for you to go out with.
*Hairspray if you prefer to keep your hair really curly, or just let them turn into pretty loose waves as your day go by (which I prefer :D).
*They shouldn't go completely flat on you even without hairspray. However, everyone has different hair, so please let me know how it works out for you =]
*This does work better for long hair. I remember doing this ten years ago...didn't turn out so well either lol. For anyone with shorter hair, I would recommend rolling & tying the socks more loosely. The result would be loose waves instead of tight curls, which may end up looking like a fro on short hair O_o
*If you really can't stand having sock by your face lol, a bun on the top of your head without any socks is probably your best bet for comfortable overnight curls.

Still the BEST hair curling method I've used, and by now, I've used plenty! This just makes the curls so beautiful each time, it's idiot proof, even for me :D

I like that you don't talk to much and is straight to the point on doing your hair. Very good. I refer to this video all the time to my family and friends.

This honestly works i do it all the time it has saved me from so much damage that i has been done to my hair by curlers and flat irons. my hair looks even better now curled this way! to me the curls seem more defined. And its all because of you so thank you so much Your amazing :)

kitTTTAAYYYYYYYY!! I'm doing this with about 5 or 6 socks in my shorter hair at night after I shampoo and I wake up with great curls/waves - so easy to do!
This is the best overnight-curls! It works amazingly well
I've watched a lot if these sock curled videos but never seen anyone use only 3 socks.. I'm going to try it :)

Awesome! Of all the sock buns on here I like yours the best.... No rambling. I can't wait to try this on my oldest daughters hair. It's very similar to yours and she cannot get it to curl.
I did this and it worked sooo good! I have thick, coarse hair, and it's already naturally curly\wavy. this trick helped even out my curls and cut down the friz a lot.

i love this technique!the first time i did it i had short hair and when i took the socks out i had awesome curls.the 2nd time i did it my hair was shoulder length and it looked great!and now im doing it for a third time.and my hair is alot longer.cant wait to take these socks out to see what they look like!!
I just wanted to say that this technique actually works!! My boyfriend made fun of me for the socks:), but the next day it was worth it. It curls WAY better than hot rollers (curls fall out) or the headband technique (too many spirals-kinks). This way your hair dries into the curl and it stays! DEFINITELY doing it again.
Probably one of the best techniques I've seen :)

Tried this and it worked wonders! The curls lasted for up to 12 hours - a first for me. Usually I can't get my curls to stay for more than an hour. And I didn't even use any hair products to hold it. Oh, and I got compliments from everyone that day. =D Love it.

Omg this is exactly like those foams things you can use to curl your hair, the ones were you wrap the hair around & then twist the foam thing to secure, i was actually gonna go out & buy those but not anymore thank youuu soo muchh you jst saved me some moneyy!! :DD

i tried this out and it works i even did part of my hair in ghd curls and used hair spray on just the ghd curls, then went to the fun fair can went on a couple of rides...the dolly curls lasted and the ghd curls went flat...thanks for an amazing video
