Omg I’ve recently started watching you to learn how to do vintage hairstyles and I’ve noticed that you had this video I WATCHED IT 8 YEARS AGO! I can’t believe I watched you 8 years ago and didn’t even realise till I saw this. I remember I never had any curling irons or anything like that and wanted to curl my hair and I’ve learnt how to curl hair with a sock from this video and 8 years later still use this technique sometimes.

Ugh dont get layers salons push them but it makes it impossible to do alot with your hair. Plus it takes for ev to get it back to 1 length
@@missbackwoods When you have hair like mine you have the choice between being a living triangle or having layers. If I didn't have layers (like until I was 13 - sad time) my hair would be almost flat on the head (because the lenght makes it heavy) and then very voluminous and curly on the bottom (like the width of my shoulders !)
So yeah, for some people it's useful and others not :)

This is totally something you could do all day too. Wear the cute bun during the day and let the curls set and your hair dry, then bust out your curls at night when you go out! I am so excited to try this! Thanks so much.

Did this the other night and just left my hair a mess, but tried it again last night, with completely dry hair and it worked amazingly my hair looks so nice and wavy at the bottom. Thank you so much hun :)

I tried this last night.. I absolutely works! My hair came out really curly. Only downside is that I have just below the shoulder length hair and it brought my hair up to my chin.
The bun was SUPER comfortable!! I also used wet, right from the shower hair and it came out frizzy, almost crimped. I'm letting my hair grow out so I can try this!!
I brushed it out & blew it out, I have amazing body now.. It's a trick i'm going to keep using! ;)

If you want a full head of curls starting on the crown of your head instead of lower down. Take the top third of your hair and put it in a tightish sock bun on the top of your head, the put on headband and do headband curls for all the rest of hair. It works great!!!! Full head of long soft curls ( best done on medium or long hair) GOOD LUCK 🌻

hi...i tried this method of curling and let me tell u its amazing.. i jst loved the curles i get through this method...bt d only problem wit me is i hv extremely long hair and the sock band jst cud nt hold them... so i used a hair band for making bun bt i think it dsnt make any diff...thanku thanku thanku soooo much 4 this lovely method :-)
