Thank you for opening up and sharing your story. The strength of you and your husband is a testament to how well your family is thriving, even through heartbreak and adversity. May you continue to be blessed! 🫶🏼
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED YOUR Q&A. THANK YOU SO MUCH! You all make such a cute couple. I hope you get to where you want to be. You sure deserve it. May you family stay blessed!
Great Q&A! You two are so cute! We have a lot more in common than I knew. My husband and I are both 2 nd marriage keepers step child, he ( Brian) drives over the road for FedEx 31 years. I had a great career in sales with Frito-Lay had two babies, I got really sick with Lupus and a ton of other stuff. I had to give up my great paying job to stay at home get better and enjoy my kids and craft for just for me. We made it! The kiddos are all grown up and my middle daughter became a nurse because of me. Life is good!TFS!!!♥️
Wow! Life is so crazy! We sure do have a lot in common. I'm sorry you were sick, but I hope you and your family are doing well! Thank you so much for commenting and sharing your story.
I appreciate your comment. Life is beautiful, but it does not come without suffering. I share in hopes to shine light for others. Thank you for your support!
Hearing part of your life story makes me respect you and how far you've come even more than before. More power to people like you and your husband. I hope you will reach your goals, i'm for sure here for the journey and rooting for you.
Thank you so much for the comment and the support. It has been a crazy roller coaster ride that's for sure! I'm always excited to see what the future holds.
Love this q&a, I feel like we’re friends now! ☺️ I also trained as a nurse as I was inspired by nurses who looked after me when I was sick with an auto immune disease (not Chrons, but Lupus), I love that your daughter is going into nursing 🥰
We are def friends here. Nurses are a special breed. I loved the nurses she had when she was sick. We spent a lot of time together in the hospital and I stayed right by her side.

Thank you so much for commenting and supporting me. I'm so sorry we share having a daughter with Crohn's. I hope your daughter is doing well. It was a very hard getting my daughter well. It is nice knowing other moms out there understand what that journey is like and that we are not alone. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Life is def a journey. My husband is the hardest working man I know that is for sure! Thank you so much! I do appreciate your comment and your support. Much love!
At the beginning your husband was like awkward. lol but he became a pro. 😊😂 love hearing all your answers, and I’m sorry about ur daughter. Love hearing the first meet ups and first dates. ❤
Yay!! Loved this! I can't wait to meet you in person when you come to the spring retreat! We will make that happen!! If nothing else we will make a weekend in French lick or something happen!! 😂 Like always I related to so much of this! 😂
I would love to come to a spring retreat, but if that doesn't happen then we must find a way to meet soon. I'm finishing orders today and tonight I'll have my hook in a special hippo!
Awe! Thank you! He is so sweet and my rock. Being a dad isn't an easy job either if you're a good one like he is. He does so much for me and all of our kids and I love him for it!!
Thanks for sharing. We have a lot in common, in spite of my being probably 10 years older than you and that I am an introvert. I don't know if I will ever have the confidence to sell my stuff... maybe one day. My 25 year old daughter also enjoys crocheting and she is an extrovert. She thinks she might want to do some craft shows in the future, if she does she will take some of my things to see how they sell. We'll see... but for now I just keep filling up bins with new projects. I still have not found patterns that I really love making. My plushies that my kids think are really cute.. are the ones that were a pain in the butt to make. LOL. I need to find more patterns that work up quick and are more fun to make.. I tend to get impatient with some projects and lose interest. Oh, not crochet related... I was thinking of you the other night. I was watching my favorite baseball team (The SF Giants) play the Cincinnati Reds. I was so impressed with the Cincinnati fans when they all stood up and cheered for our pitcher Blake Snell when he pitched a no hitter, even though the Reds lost 3-0. I thought that was so cool, sports fans aren't always nice, so it was really refreshing to see that at the major league level. You are the only person I "know" from Ohio so I thought of you when I saw it. :) We keep saying we want to think about moving out of CA after our daughter graduates... but we have no idea where we will go... Ohio just made the list, haha!
I have lived in and around the Cinti area since I was 10 years old. It is definitely home to me. I can't imagine living in CA! LOL. I would imagine that Ohio would be much more affordable than CA. Thank you so much for your comment and your support. I wish you the best to sell your plushies so you can buy more yarn, haha.
Great video ❤ I’m so happy your daughter is in remission My husband used to work for US Foods as a produce buyer … that was a long time ago I am getting my craft business slowly in motion. It revolves around sewn pillows I have a question about Etsy …how to you get the shipping right on Etsy? Thanks for answering
Hello thank you for your sweet comment. As far as Etsy shipping. Get yourself a scale and weigh each product you list. Then decide what size package you need to ship it in. Etsy does everything else. They make it really easy.
Wow, it was so, so nice to get to know a bit more about you and your situation. I loved how it started for you with your son´s hat and that everybody wanted one. So cool.... You've definitely had som heavy things in your life, but it looks like the sun shines on you now 🥰
Thank you so much Linda. I guess maybe you can understand why I was so touched by the gift from you to my daughter. It's hard to understand the road we are on sometimes and the path it takes, but I always try to search for the joy each and every day! Thank you so much for always supporting me friend.
lol, I loved the tax credit for each kid.Thank you so much for sharing about your personal life and your husband is too funny. I am so glad everything turn out for the best. GOD is good!
I can see why you keep mentioning your husband all the time. He's a wonderful man, husband and father! I wanted to comment on other things mentioned in this video, but he had blown me away!
I did Etsy back in 2016 and I lost more money with each listing than I made. In my opinion, Etsy is overflowing with crafters and it's hard to be seen there in my experience. Things improved when I went *local* - That's the majority of my customers.
I feel like you have such a big heart and I genuinely enjoy watching your long videos! Thank you for opening up and sharing your life. As a new crocheter I have a question regarding making “characters” that are licensed for example such as Mickey Mouse or Elsa stuff? Is there a chance you could get in trouble for making licensed products without their permission? Or can you buy the rights to make certain characters or something? I wasn’t sure how this would work with crochet because we are taking some creative licensing here and I’m sure the line is very blurred…but I have some requests to make Bluey plushies for people after I made one for my kids and I’m a bit worried about selling them especially online. Would appreciate any input you have on this since you’ve been in this business for 12 years!!
Hello and thank you so much or your comment. This is a very controversial topic, especially as of late. When I sell things on Etsy, I do NOT use the names of the characters. You cannot use Disney's name, etc. I have had listings shut down when I use the character names. There are so many shops that sell items and use the name, but my recommendation to you is to not use the names. For example, for Bluey, use Blue Heeler or for Elsa I use Ice Princess. It is harder for items to be found in the search, but this is the only way to protect your listing. I hope this helps.
As long as you have a child in college and on your health insurance can still file them as dependents until they are 25 years old, unless they are working and claiming their self.
