The judge belongs in prison. In a channel called Emily D. Baker (a lawyer) people were chatting and saying that the entire judicial department is under a criminal investigation. Like, every judge in every court there . The stream had almost 35,000 people in it so chat was flying. But yeh people were saying the judges in Massachusetts are all under criminal investigation. I guess we'll see.
When Allan Jackson stepped to the podium to begin his closing I could see his complete belief that his client is innocent. The weight he was carrying was written all over his face.
I've sat as a juror, and this form she tried to say was appropriate, appeared to me, to be a form designed to confuse the jury. Awful, absolutely awful!
The worst part of Bev jumping on Karen in open court is two fold in my opinion. 1. She has ZERO idea why she was smiling! She could have heard something being said by onlookers, Atty Little may have whispered something to her, etc… Secondly, Mrs O’keefe was laughing when Proctor called her a c word, and when he was talking about the affects of Crohn’s disease. I saw Mrs. O’Keefe make many gestures about Karen, laughing, etc. Once the defense objected and she called him up to sidebar, once Karen walked by she raised your arms and flopped him in her lap, like she was exasperated that they were objecting to anything! All this was done right in front of the jury and she was never told to stop doing that! That is so bad! This adds to the defense asking her to recuse herself last summer. She refused to because she wasn’t biased. She’s shown the world she is biased.
Agree and I noticed all of that too. I said something similar on a video yesterday. Yes Mrs O has had tragedy losing 2 kids but doesn't detract from her not being a nice person. I don't like her vibe at all.

Kerry Roberts is a witness for the prosecution who the defense attorneys felt she did nor hurt their case. They did not cross examine her because she only said that she heard Karen say, did I hit him? 3 x. The prosecution didn't ask her if she told police John said that Karen was just a babysitter with benefits. Jen said Kerry said it. Jen could have lied with that too. John saying babysitter with benefits if he ever did, has little to do with this case.

Karen was the one person she could dominate in that moment. It was an ugly thing to watch. People have been saying the judge is biased. Today I really did see it. In Massachusetts I had three interactions with State Troopers. They were all minor things. I was in my 20 s but each time the troopers came across angry , aggressive and demeaning. They all made negative comments towards me and swore at me. I was not assaulted by them but I was young and looking back on it they were all unprofessional people behind that badge.

The Glarer had footage this morning prior to court when KR had a long hug with her friend/sister(?) she looked like she was wiping her eyes. It was from quite a distance away and the visual wasn't good but I thought she was wiping tears. I would be a blubbering mess so I don't fault her at all for having a moment. She has been so strong! 💪
I didn’t see it, but I cannot imagine how hard it is to sit there for weeks before she even cracked a smile, or any sign of emotion, as your most personal life is started to thousands… while fighting for your life. I hope she truly has a strong support system.

So Chris Albert ran over someone 30 years ago and got 6 months and was represented by Judge Bev’s Brother and now all these years later she’s presiding over Karen’s case involving a hit and run but was framed to protect Chris’s Albert’s Brother Brian Albert, Tim Albert hit a car and drove off, officers Goode and Lank only charged him with a misdemeanour, yet Karen if found guilty will get life, when you think this case couldn’t get more corrupt and ridiculous, it does, it’s one rule for this family and another for everyone else, Jackson’s closing makes even more sense now

Did they ask during choosing of the jury, if anyone was friends with the MCCabes or the Alberts? What bothers me about the judge, is the fact that the McAlberts call her "Auntie Bev." I also didn't like how she treated the Prosecution with such kid gloves compared to how she treated the Defense team. Her bias was so obvious.
One of the UA-cam people covering this case talked to a lady who was summoned for jury duty but ultimately dismissed. She did say they asked if they knew the McAlberts. She found it odd bc they asked about the McAlberts but didn’t ask if they knew Karen.

It was very different in the Vallow/ Daybell case. The jurors had to see graphic autopsy photos of JJ, a 7 year old autistic boy who had been wrapped in duct tape from foot to head, suffocated and buried and the photos of Tylee, a 16 year old girl who had been killed, dismembered and burned. I can see why jurors (some of whom were quite young) needed a mental health professional.
The video of Ms Reads vehicle leaving John’s house early Sat morning you can see ,CLEARLY, the taillight was essentially intact and not damaged to the extent of the Commonwealth proposition.

Yup! Everyone is forgetting that these people have had ZERO opportunity before deliberations to even talk about anything for 10 weeks! We have all been able to review confusing testimony & go back and have our questions answered in real time. These jurors have been silenced until now & prohibited from reviewing things outside of court. It would take time just to talk about the frustrations about unanswered questions they must have.
Legally that's not a conflict of interest. Honestly there's no way that tiny connection has made this judge act this way. Whatever connection this judge has that makes her so incredibly biased is so far unknown.

It should be the judge’s role to manage and make sure all parties, especially the jury understands the instructions. Did not help her being cocky about it. Glad that AJ stood up and said his piece. I don’t think Jackson will come back from California for another trial. I think he said it when he said “I’ve got to get out of here” after his ordeal with biased Bev. He has a small child. My ex found a new supply pretty quickly so that was nice. Though, when I found someone new the parental alienation and verbal, emotional, mental, court abuse picked up from ex. We shouldn't panic, if we look at deliberations realistically, they deliberated a little over two hours on day one, on day two they deliberated about five and a half hours. We have to remember they are still getting an hour lunch. Total deliberation time is only about eight hours. 😊

Kerry Roberts is a witness for the prosecution who the defense attorneys felt she did nor hurt their case. They did not cross examine her because she only said that she heard Karen say, did I hit him? 3 x. The prosecution didn't ask her if she told police John said that Karen was just a babysitter with benefits. Jen said Kerry said it. Jen could have lied with that too. John saying babysitter with benefits if he ever did, has little to do with this case.

Bev the control freak judge attacked Karen like a bully would , like Karen was less than. The judge was feeling pressure and took it out on Karen because she could. Karen was the one person she could dominate in that moment. It was an ugly thing to watch. People have been saying the judge is biased. Today I really did see it. In Massachusetts I had three interactions with State Troopers. They were all minor things. I was in my 20 s but each time the troopers came across angry , aggressive and demeaning. They all made negative comments towards me and swore at me. I was not assaulted by them but I was young and looking back on it they were all unprofessional people behind that badge.

It's absolute trash. I've never in my life been so infuriated at the justice system. I have never been so upset about a case, a judge and prosecutor that I've literally cried in frustration and anger. This woman's rights have been railroaded in so many levels.
These people have no business being in the justice system or legal system. They are clearly trying to stop the jury from hearing the truth or having any opportunity to defend her innocence. They have placed so many hoops infront of the defense and Karen It's sickening.

If I were on that jury I wouldn’t bend. John O’Keefe was not struck with Karen Read’s vehicle. Period. Therefore not guilty on all counts.
Everything seems like a chore for this judge. She huffs and puffs her way around the courtroom and can be so obnoxious akin to a stroppy teenager when dealing with counsel.
If they were to retry her and the Feds are still investigating, by the retrial time, Proctor could be fired or charged and that would be hard to explain.

Did they ask during choosing of the jury, if anyone was friends with the MCCabes or the Alberts? What bothers me about the judge, is the fact that the McAlberts call her "Auntie Bev." I also didn't like how she treated the Prosecution with such kid gloves compared to how she treated the Defense team. Her bias was so obvious.
One of the UA-cam people covering this case talked to a lady who was summoned for jury duty but ultimately dismissed. She did say they asked if they knew the McAlberts. She found it odd bc they asked about the McAlberts but didn’t ask if they knew Karen.
I mean before the jury was selected, she was one of the hundreds of people that didn’t make it on the jury at all

It was very different in the Vallow/ Daybell case. The jurors had to see graphic autopsy photos of JJ, a 7 year old autistic boy who had been wrapped in duct tape from foot to head, suffocated and buried and the photos of Tylee, a 16 year old girl who had been killed, dismembered and burned. I can see why jurors (some of whom were quite young) needed a mental health professional.
The video of Ms Reads vehicle leaving John’s house early Sat morning you can see ,CLEARLY, the taillight was essentially intact and not damaged to the extent of the Commonwealth proposition.
Also the cop on the Jury has got to be upset that this was the standard of investigation into a murdered fellow cop.

Yup! Everyone is forgetting that these people have had ZERO opportunity before deliberations to even talk about anything for 10 weeks! We have all been able to review confusing testimony & go back and have our questions answered in real time. These jurors have been silenced until now & prohibited from reviewing things outside of court. It would take time just to talk about the frustrations about unanswered questions they must have.

It should be the judge’s role to manage and make sure all parties, especially the jury understands the instructions. Did not help her being cocky about it. Glad that AJ stood up and said his piece. Karen could have been more conservative with her reaction but it was NOT overly done or mocking in anyway- more like disbelief. I don’t think Jackson will come back from California for another trial. I think he said it when he said “I’ve got to get out of here” after his ordeal with biased Bev. He has a small child. His wife is probably very supportive, and I imagine that he is too. He probably doesn’t want to be gone as long as far away again.

Totally, the judge only stuck herself out by chastising Karen for expressing mild amusement at Bev’s preposterous obstinance. That remark to Karen and her entire attitude towards Mr. Jackson then was par for the course for Bev, incessantly sighing and putting her exasperation and bias on full display throughout this entire trial. She’s repugnant.

I was in a long term abusive relationship myself,17 years. I had to escape with the help of my parents and a deputy sheriff,middle of the night,3 states away. He then stalked me for several years before finally giving up.

My ex found a new supply pretty quickly so that was nice.
Though, when I found someone new the parental alienation and verbal, emotional, mental, court abuse picked up from ex. Ugh kept going until my daughter was 21! Insane!!

Colin Alberts beat John and Brian Albert whose house it was, took the body outside with the prepared story a "snowplow hit him" but the snowplow driver's testimony really messed up their story.
The bill in those 2 bars did not reflect a lot of drinks for 2 people, one of them being a large man.

I never thought I would see a judge worse than Glanville who is over the Young Thug trial, but today she may have showed it. The only reason I think he might be worse is because he wouldn’t have changed it and made it right. He does what he wants when he wants.. he’s about to get his biggest case to date thrown out because of how biased he’s being towards the defense. All ppl are owed is a fair trial, and that’s what ppl deserve. Guilty or not.
Rule 703 does not allow written reports to be admissable for jury to read.
The investigators didn’t even write a report for their own records.
The way you will know that someone snuck a friend in the jury is a hung jury then they get questions about what they were talking about
So isn’t there a Code of Ethics/Conduct that Judges are held to and if they don’t abide by these, they aren’t disciplined/held accountable. This Judge should be disciplined for her actions & lack of professionalism.

We shouldn't panic, if we look at deliberations realistically, they deliberated a little over two hours on day one, on day two they deliberated about five and a half hours. We have to remember they are still getting an hour lunch. Total deliberation time is only about eight hours. 😊
