The first story is the most sickening story I've ever heard. The fact that so many men are willing to go along with this is absolutely terrifying. No one can hear this story and say there isn't something deeply wrong with 'masculinity' and male culture
What happened to women in Israel on Oct 7 was the most sickening thing I heard. Feminists and the left said nothing, many of them literally could not care less. Well, almost. Much of the left was out on the streets almost the day after. Not to highlight violence against women, but to to campaign against Israel in case they did something about it.
I don't think so. Example: some time ago, a British nurse was found to have killed 7 babies. Should we conclude something about human nature from that "fait divers"? It would suck that all men would have to pay for the actions of this despicable man.
French viewer here. This sentencing is the very least that could be done. I'm still disgusted and furious. I'm still having trouble sleeping when I think about the absolute horror this woman lived through and even more so when I think about the fact this insanity is just one of a great many.
I’m 59 and I can assure you that what you are saying about the privatisation of the water industry being a transfer of wealth from the public to a tiny few in the Private Sector was said at the time
Yes, I remember this being called out by many at the time, not just the Labour Party. They knew exactly what they were doing because if they didn’t want this to happen they could have put in place many stops and balances to ensure it didn’t.
Quality, intelligent and empathetic reporting from NM once again. Giselle's strength is phenomenal and inspiring. Thank you for the way in which you report on this and for contextualising it with such sensitivity.
I’m 59 and I can assure you that what you are saying about the privatisation of the water industry being a transfer of wealth from the public to a tiny few in the Private Sector was said at the time the Conservative party gave the water industry to their friends and themselves so they could profit
As someone from Shetland which has pretty nice water (even by Scottish standards) I literally cannot drink the London water it’s disgusting. When I visit is the only time I’ll buy bottled water. They really need to take it out of private ownership.
Changing ownership of the water company in charge of London’s water supply won’t change the taste of the water. The reason why it tastes offensive to you is because it has to have so many chemicals added to it to make it safe enough to drink. As long as London remains a highly populated area in such a condensed space the water will have to go through this same process, unless they can come up with a better way of doing it. I think ALL water companies should be nationalised by the way. No monopolies should be privatised.
I agree totally with your remarks about London tap water. I live on the north-west outskirts of London, and I only drink the tap water if I'm making tea or coffee. It's disgusting, even after filtering. You just wonder how many people have drunk the same glass of water before you.
Well, sitting here in Scotland, where Scottish Water is 100% publicly owned, I can feel a bit smug about rising water rates in England. If only, oh, if only we had a Labour government in power, rather than Starmer's Tory one!

I will do that if you get all the alternative media like you to do a collective fundraising for Gaza . ( You could do for Medical Aid for Palestine , or a similar one )........🙏. There are hardly any doctors left ✊🇵🇸
The British public may despise the privatised water companies but I have to say the majority will do nothing to change the situation and just suck up the rate rises. I went on the recent clean water march in London and considering there are approximately 70 million people in this country a few tens of thousands (high end count) could be bothered to turn up and protest.
Re. The water company rises. They told us every time in the past that they did the same that the money was for investment. They stole that cash and now Starmer wants us to give his mates more money.
She’s so good, absolutely brilliant :) I think she’s been the primary host of two Novara Live shows this year, and I definitely hope to see her hosting more!
From Googling it, it's probably referring to an investigation by UN Women UK that found that 97% of women aged 18-24 report having been sexually harassed in some form.
Dalia, I am a big fan of yours, but seriously, next time you seek to address fans and followers of Andrew Tate, perhaps consider using language a little more basic than 'hiarachising the value of life.'
One of them here. I obviously shift through whatever he says as clickbait and outrage porn and focus only on the parts I find valuable. I never heard him advocate abusing or raping women, not even harassing them. Only that powerful and successful men throughout history has had multiple women as the norm and as long as both parties are okay with that, no harm done. But I'm sure Novara has consulted with their lawyers what they can get away saying without legal consequences
Come on Dahlia, Johnson got far more push from the media than Starmer is getting. The MSM were obsessed by him and mostly supported him. Kuenssberg and Peston sometimes even appeared to be in thrall, even in love, with him.
She knew there was something wrong. Her health was deteriorating, but he would go to the doctor with her and tell them she was just exhausted from looking after their grandchildren.

Agree. But not all men are like that. To this man. Yes means maybe, maybe means no, no means definitely NO
There is. Something deeply, deeply rotten and wrong. Something inhuman.
I don't think so.

What a brave woman to go ahead with this trial in the eye of the public.
Yes. 💜💜💜

Pls. Come back again the two of you together…..excellent, mature, confident, genuine, analysis / presentation ……thank you
It just shows how sick upskirting is and how it can be an indication of much worse things.
how is that a thing even
Can we, en masse, just refuse to pay until water goes into public ownership. So disgusted with this.

Disgusting, that poor lady.
We live in a scary world.
Not as scary as in the past. Read up on social history.
Or just talk to your grandparents.
Dalia is so brilliant.
A very moving and articulate commentary from Helena regarding the first story
We do not carry the shame ,✊
Powerful statement
Love these two together!

To me it is incomprehensible that being raped could ever shameful
Gisele is amazing.

A huge part of our problem is that we have no responsible media, except for organisations such as Novara Media.

Dalia is the best host, the topics are always covered so intelligently and sensibly when she's running the show
Dalia on fire here. 👍🏾👍🏾
Helena too obviously.

Wow. That's pretty dark.
Helena "collective action" in this country? Yes, if only!
They will be judged not by the people. My only comfort is when one has passed, they saved 😢😢
Helena deserves to host her own show.Peoples favourite, presenter of the year on Novara.
She’s so good, absolutely brilliant :)

Typo in the script most likely

Could a clinical psychologist or a psychiatrist be invited to give an insight into the husband’s sick mind?

I dont think Andrew Tate boys are tuning in to Novara Media every evening

@59:23
The man has many faults but I don't see how his voice is relevant.
Please stay focused on the issues that matter. Thank you.
U watched the whole show and that was your take away? Bizarre.
@@lumpylumpylumpy This is the sort of thing that detracts from their otherwise stellar coverage.
@@MPatrickN but his voice is annoying. It was 2 seconds of the show. Get over it.
@@lumpylumpylumpy Simply dropped a comment. Nothing to get over, really.
Happy Holidays.

They don’t support him anymore.
9 years, over 50 men. And she had no idea? WTF?
She knew there was something wrong. Her health was deteriorating, but he would go to the doctor with her and tell them she was just exhausted from looking after their grandchildren.
Did STARMER get a kick back from Thames Water is the question? Please investigate Novara!
A massive chunk of Starmer's MPs are corporate lobbyists, at least one of them for the private water industry.
Helena for PM!! ❤
Helena's voice reminds me of a deeper version of Caitlyn Kiramman's voice from Arcane
I had to stop listening to the Pellicot story. Never happened to me before that I can't listen to a newspiece told in neutral language. Unfathomable.
I wonder how having a piece of legislation with your name in affects your Erdös number..
Has misogyny increased or do we hear about it more?
what did i just hear
Single life!!!!
ofc its a story from france
the flip side... Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard. Are allegations enough?
The people of England voted Tory now they winge about the cost of water..... Antoinette's solution can't they drink beer.....
This is the propaganda unit whose 'comrade' (Rivka Brown) tweeted with joy on 07-Oct. Still in the fold.
