Richard Hill going off from a dirty high and late elbow from Nathan Gray was the turning point in this series. Up until then, you didn't;t even notice George Smith was playing. After that, Smith grew into prominence.
I also shared your hope and optimism. Unfortunately 3 years in charge and a 38% win rate was not the kind of era we hoped for. I wish him all the best.

How did Gordon Bray keep his job? Even Blind Freddy would have seen Nathan Grey deliberately elbow Hill in the face. Indeed, you can see Grey looking at Hill immediately afterwards, knowing what he'd done. Grey proudly joins the likes of Lavanini, Jamie Joseph and others. They DID manage to immediately see Johnson's high shot on Larkham. One-eyed? Much? Shameful.
