I am used to PEI mussels from the backyard and the best way to eat them is just a little wine and garlic or beer and onion..... anything more would ruin the flavour. But I've never had green mussels! I would happily convert if they taste better this way! Going to try these tomorrow.
I've only tried black mussels once and wasn't impressed. But absolutely love green lipped mussels! And I'm the only one in the house who does so I will be making this soon! ~Vaughn

Wasn't Expecting Gochujang. My Eyes got bigger. I paused right at 4:35 so I could write this. OK now with the video. I used Korean Gochugaru flakes, and Heaps of Gochujang and Garlic. Along side some rice drenched in the left over sauce. Exquisite! 👄👌
I just got a big box of frozen New Zealand green-lipped mussels. This looks good but I’m afraid it will be super spicy! Will my family eat this? Does the spicy heat overpower the mussels? I’ve only ever made black mussels in white wine and butter sauce. Thanks.
