Wow. This was so great to watch. I fondly remember me and my friends fully backing Flip and Appleyard after sorry came out... we even started letting our hair get all moppy and shit like Mark's. Junior High.... time flies.
Peak skateboarding. Just as it was hitting fever pitch around the world, a real golden time to be part of it all. I was 16,17, skating every day after all school, all weekend with my friends. Skating was all there was, your biggest worry whether you could match what everyone else could do or go one better. Great times, stoked I got to live em.
Right? I like hates element. With a passion. Element was the brand that all the poser kids had. They had everything from ccs their parents bought them and carried a board around without even trying to skate. Ironically I see that all the time now too, people don’t skate they just wear thrasher shit and supreme. Hype beasts are the worst. I’m proud of lil Wayne for getting out there and grinding it out. Shutout to everybody skating when this video was out, skating when it wasn’t cool to skate.
now I think a lotta of people should be watching this set of cliips...you'll notice the amazing Apples scrapes a manny...tough to see but heel touches....what does this professular skateboarder do? he films it again because he did NOT land the trick....true class
best team back then... They were the best. Arto, Mark, Geoff, Bastien, Penny... One of the best area of skateboarding and maybe the best video of the decade. Such a good energy. Damn, I feel really nostalgic
This was sick to watch. Brought back my memories of 8th grade summer after Sorry came out on VHS haha I probably watched Sorry over 100 times that Summer. Arto and Mark have always been my favorite skaters
I’ve watched every piece of new footage up to the current date and probably everything dated back to alienworkshops photosynthesis and this is still by far the cleanest skating I’ve ever seen. They just don’t make em like this anymore.
Can't wait to see Ali Boulala's section in this. It's awesome. This was one of my favorite videos when I was like 15. Mark is still my favorite ever. And the style I have kind is from him. Too bad I can't do his tricks lol
u gotta respect his originality &the personality he brought to his skating. i used to dress like muska for sure...his style inspired many a young skater. it just seems terrible when u look back at it now, but that was the shit. muskas shoes have always been ahead of their time. his skytops inspires an entire trend in the fashion world w/super high, vulcanized sneakers. he rocked skinny jeans& hi-tops before anyone. his skating-he did big rails before anyone else if u really think about it
This video, éS Menikmati, and transworld Modus Operandi were watched to death by my friends and I back in middle school. Literally the VHS cassettes stopped working after 100s of viewings. That era of my life feels so long ago now. I miss those days. And my buddies Eddie and Lee. Hope youre doing okay guys.
I bought a flip deck after watching sorry and that thing broke the first week. After that it was nothing but habitat or workshops for me. Always loved sorry though
Thrasher..I see Andrew Gordon beside Appleyard at 5:32, please share the footage from that time when he was supposed to have a part in sorry, it would be much appreciated.

Sorry is one of the best skatevideos of all time!
as so sad when he left flip and went to element, that flip team from 2002-2004 was stacked!
2000-2004 was the best time of Flip
You've got Primitive as the modern-day equivalent
Facts brother👍
@@CanadaGradeEh No one gives a shit about Primitive. They are no comparison to Flip 2000 era. Flip ruled everything.

I deeply wish I could go back to these times.

The unit tool in the beginning. That tool was life.
This was sick to watch. Brought back my memories of 8th grade summer after Sorry came out on VHS haha I probably watched Sorry over 100 times that Summer. Arto and Mark have always been my favorite skaters
Everett James Cool!!!! Guess you been happy with all the other archives that came out!!! My pleasure to share all of this with you guys!
That huge gap to back lip with more speed than Charlie Sheen on payday has been burnt into my brain since Sorry came out. pure focken gold
That kickflip over the rail into the bank has always stayed with me as so beautiful.
I’ve watched every piece of new footage up to the current date and probably everything dated back to alienworkshops photosynthesis and this is still by far the cleanest skating I’ve ever seen. They just don’t make em like this anymore.
Lmao that boulala reference "my Hass is out"
Sorry was so ahead of it's time. Best skate vid ever
One of the best things about Mark is his ability to go trick to trick ok thanks I enjoyed watching the footage
Appleyard was so freakin' smooth, it was almost unbelievable. Way ahead of his time as well.
This VID takes me back 10 years ago when my favorite Board Trick was Nollie Flip K grind all over SAN JOSE!

Can't wait to see Ali Boulala's section in this. It's awesome. This was one of my favorite videos when I was like 15. Mark is still my favorite ever. And the style I have kind is from him. Too bad I can't do his tricks lol
Appleyard is so clutch! One of the gods of skating. Loved the boulala reference too haha my hass is out!
This is the best series out right now
Mark, Ali, Geoff..... My idols as a young skater.....
2:26 how do you even commit to that?
ooh that shit is so scary. I guess he just knows his capabilities.
***** well that's what I meant
Shit made the cover of thrasher
this is one of the best things thrasher has posted so far, i love this (and appleyard obviously)
That bail @ 2:27 is one of the gnarliest things I've ever seen. That spot is a quarter mile long. Gerwer kicky'd it.
appleyard ... canadian legend
Really Sorry is one of the best skate videos of all time
This was awesome, love this segment
I've been searching for a signed appleyard deck for years... one day!
Message him on IG.. a while back he would sell his old decks and sign em
This footage is gold! more please!
Appleyard has great style. He lands like he expected to
You don't learn style you're born with it
2:26 gnarliest avoiding a really bad slam ever
My favourite video part as a kid
Mark has such an effortless style. Makes me feel like even i could go out and do it haha
That tre flip 5-0 was dope!!!
u gotta respect his originality &the personality he brought to his skating. i used to dress like muska for sure...his style inspired many a young skater. it just seems terrible when u look back at it now, but that was the shit. muskas shoes have always been ahead of their time. his skytops inspires an entire trend in the fashion world w/super high, vulcanized sneakers. he rocked skinny jeans& hi-tops before anyone. his skating-he did big rails before anyone else if u really think about it

Every trick he gets is perfect. Appleyard rules.
I read your comment before watching the vid and had to sing that song the entire time in my head haha
Wow appleyard was amazing from the get go very diciplined clean style
I'm loving this footage we don't actually get to see in the Full Video Release...

I bought a flip deck after watching sorry and that thing broke the first week. After that it was nothing but habitat or workshops for me. Always loved sorry though
COLT CANNON showing love. Best dude ever
I love these videos. Keep them coming.
i fell because of freds gay outfit! Johnny Rotten: Mark Appleyard theres something iffy going on around here, i can see this one rocking in kansas.
Doesn't quite know what to do with his hands
Wich ones bigger 💪🏻
Sorry is the best skate video of all time. I don't care what anyone thinks.
He EASILY has the best trick selection in skate history
that gap to back lip was pretty ahead of its time
Mark makes mongo look so good
nothing is better than raw footage.
Is it me or does the entire sorry video and menikmaniti are still relevant/fresh until this day? Man I remember my skate years
still my fav skater.
Mark also released a full part not to long ago which was pretty sick. It was called the lone ranger check it out!
old skate videos are so good
Sick apples looking forward to the legendary boulala
evan hernandez & mark appleyard.....the reason why i like to do front boards
Apples effortless style just makes u wanna go out n skate
3:27 I tought that so funny.
PS: When Arto shaved his head? Because I didn't tought it was N' Sorry Era, and yes N' Mindfield
Is it sad that I know which tricks he lands before he does them?
No it just means u spend a lot of time watching this video.
yes. yes it is. get a life loser. 😃
I like the introductions by johnny rotten. "I can see this one rockin in kansas. He really don't know what to do with his hands here."
smooth style mark is the best
I think there is no footage of that. That's why they put that animation instead in Sorry.
can't believe sorry was the first skate video i ever watched. why did i set the bar so high
man that took me back...
that gap to back lip is insane
Best video uploaded... EVER
7:13 did he (or did anyone for that matter) get that?
Jeez why didn't they include that tre to 5.0 on the picnic table in the final vid??
Thrasher..I see Andrew Gordon beside Appleyard at 5:32, please share the footage from that time when he was supposed to have a part in sorry, it would be much appreciated.
Mark appleyard was a fuckin sniper with his tricks. So fucking stylish and accurate
When's Arto's coming out? I wanna see that infamous slam of his that put him in hospital
I like how he doesn't get all mad and smash his board when he doesn't land a trick first try
Thanks Fred. You da man!
EEE Boulala next week can't wait!!!
amazing!
FIRST LEGIT NOLLIE HEEL CROOKS ON A RAIL THAT I REMEMBER SEEING... APPLEYARTZ FOREVER!!
Love the last clip XD
I used to watch his part everyday
so sick, this is the shit that made me want to start skating
I really couldn't tell you who was gnarlier between Mark, Geoff, and Arto. Ali was gnar too but in a different way.
Flip possibly had the raddest team in skateboarding ever in this era
Steve Arrington - Way Out (Extended Version) (1982)
