this is why i look left and right after the stop light turns green. i had this happen to me around 8 years ago at an intersection. can't count on other drivers to follow the rules. traffic lights have made us complacent and unaware. look at the intersections in India. there are no traffic lights and it looks to be complete chaos but they hardly ever have accidents. compare that to intersections in the us and more modern countries.
I lost my 83' RX-7 the same way almost, T-boned by a truck coming out of a sidestreet that I didn't see until the very last second. It still hurts every time I drive by that spot now because I loved that little POS. It was bone stock, slower than dogshit and looked like an absolute turd, but it fired right up every time I turned the key, got me from point A to point B and kept a smile on my face the entire time while driving it. I'll never forget that car and i'm now driving a 1980 SA22c which is absolutely badass in every way and better than my old rx-7 in almost every way, but I love(d) them both equaly because they are/were badass in their own ways
Sorry to see this and hope you recover fully. I guess you hit your knee because even with short legs like me they are very close to the underside of the dash. Hope the insurance coughs up quickly for you
For being so small, the ND is such a solid and safe car that as shown will keep you safe. Glad youre ok!
I was about to comment then saw my comment from 3 years ago. This quarantine is really getting to me.

I also had an 83 which I sold and was totaled months after. 53k original miles when it was totaled. Such a shame, but glad you have a new fb.
It's actually an SA, but close enough lol
Glad you're alive and that the car kept you safe.
