Who else goes to the cleaning videos a few hours before u need to start cleaning ,just to get a kick start. I love the cleaning videos especially the 10 min speed clean videos
Every time I watch them , I think I did this crap 20 yrs ago and little kids ! You clean to make them look good ! What would their friends say if home was dirty !
Besides "never leave a room with an empty hand" - a new mantra of mine is: "don't put it down, put it away!" Helps so much! Whenever I take a mug or something else from around the house to the kitchen, I tend to just put it on the counter.. instead I remind myself to put it away and so it goes inside the dishwasher, the sink or whereever it belongs to.. :)
My Mum always said to only touch an item once. SO if you pick it up don't just put it in the right room put it where it belongs etc I do this whenever possible but sometimes I forget and then get annoyed with myself x
Wow…these are really clever cleaning hacks…especially removing dust from a padded headboard with an adhesive roller. Your idea of cleaning tennis shoe rubber soles with a magic eraser was a serious game changer. No other cleaning/ scrubbing has ever worked for me. Thx again - brilliant tips!
I love that you're promoting the speed clean. We "upgraded" this method of cleaning some 20+ years ago in my household where one of us got the task of selecting 3-5 songs that would be put on high BLAST while we clean and once the songs have played (15 to 20 minutes) clean time is over. This method keeps us so motivated and usually we're done with most of the chores around song #4.
I started to watch your channel when I was pregnant... My little one is now nearly 4 years old and I still love your videos 😍 I have never been so consistently interested in a channel 😂 you are such a nice and loveable person and watching your videos just calms me down every time 😊
I honestly love speed cleaning because it gets me up and makes me want to get my place clean and smelling nice for company, after it’s all done it makes me feel really good and reminds me for awhile that cleaning actually makes me feel good :)
I've started watching cleaning videos again to give me that kick up the butt to do my home. Mental health has been so bad my house isn't good but then you get into such a bad place where you just give up. I'm determined to get my home back to looking and smelling better which I know makes me feel better ❤️
For the tip - #12 "Don't drain cooking fat" - I save pickle jars, jelly jars, etc. under my sink and when I need to discard the cooking fat I place it in that jar and put the lid back on. Once it is filled to the top, I toss it. It's a win-win because you are reusing the old jars and it has a lid to seal it up. :)
I've used the grease hack for years. The dryer sheets I put in my dresser drawers. I love your accent and the way you say some of your words. These videos are great. I've used the time hacks you've given before and they really work well. Thanks for sharing and God bless.💜
The best cleaning hack I've ever discovered is to live in a small property and own as little as possible. This cuts down the amount of cleaning required tremendously and it means you have lower council tax and utility bills, too.
Great video, thank you! 😊 Whenever I use a Colour Catcher, I always wipe the washing machine seal/door with it once the wash has finished before chucking it in the bin.
I really liked what you shared. I have gone to other sites and quickly left. But I stayed for all of yours and will try some of your suggestions!! Thank you! ❤️
I use an empty tin can for my used grease. I keep it under the sink and put it in the bin when it's full. I use the ones with the ring-pull lid so there are not sharp edges.
@@user-xr8co4oi8h My Mam did that too.Mam was born during the war, nothing was wasted & everything reused & had different uses for what stage they were at.Recycling comes from that era.I sometimes shudder at all the cleaning solutions youtubers have & I think they are too clean for their own immune systems.I never understood the washing up then in the dishwasher when it could just wash up but I still enjoy cleaning videos 🙂
I use the cardboard milk cartons that long life milk comes in to dispose of used grease / oil. Label it “old oil” with masking tape, or you will do what I did once and poured it back into my tea thinking it was milk.
Really enjoyed this! I've been doing the wet shirt steam toss to iron my kids school uniforms every Monday morning for soo many years. I thought I was so disorganized because I didn't iron them like my mom. Turns out, I was working smarter. Lolol Edit: Thanks for sharing!
Hey Emily, hope you’re all well. I’m good, happy and well thank you good evening love this 20 cleaning ideas video. I have really enjoyed these 20 lovely cleaning ideas because it made me feel happy and grateful to see some new cleaning ideas to try from you. My favourite cleaning ideas was the blend to clean, lint roll for dusting, steam clothes in the tumble dryer, use dishwasher for everything, tumble dryer sheets to clean everything, fabric freshener, delegate the clean to someone else in the family, make clean time yourself, time speed clean + power clean the home and don’t leave the rooms empty handed ideas were really incredible and good ways to clean the home and tumble dry cloths to clean any fake flowers. If I have any stains in anything like cups or anything else what I like to do is put some washing up liquid into the stain cups put some warm clothes leave it for a few seconds on the side and then rinse it off and it’s amazing and also I also use some pink stuff paste in my kitchen sink to give my sink a good fresh clean it is genius. Those pistachio green white flowers looks so beautiful in the vase in your kitchen. All of the new cleaning ideas are so useful. I also have a same headband as you but my hand band is pistachio green white orange pink and purple design too. I make my own freshener spray by using fabric conditioner and scent boosters in a spray bottle with some warm water. (I make it up in an old method bottle- don’t use really hot water mind)! And then spray on fabrics like the beds, sofa, rugs, curtains and honestly game changer xx
Haven‘t even watched all the way through yet but already love it!! Thank you for putting up such great content and brightening my evening! ❤️ I would love to see a video about how you managed to cope with your separation anxiety, and what exact things you struggled with the most etc..
Love all of your videos! And I really appreciate your motivational cleaning videos! They are always very positive and encouraging for the task ahead xoxo
Crease release on sheets not my favorite, as I'd rather not sleep w/the chemicals... Knew about most other hacks here, though the hats on top shelf of dishwasher was a new one. I rather like it . . . Wish I'd known about it when my son was living at home, lol... Thanks for the info...enjoyed the video💕🤗
Here's what worked for me instead of ironing: water+hair conditioner 3:1 into a clean spray bottle - spray on the creases lightly and watch wrinkles dissappear before your eyes.
This is so smart. These techniques are equally helpful for people who doesn’t want to clean for hours and for working mums like me with a toddler on toes! Thanks Emily, you are great..lots of love!
Awesome tips! And the title is perfect! We can all be “lazy” in our own way when it comes to cleaning it shouldn’t be offensive to say so. Question, when you wash items in your dishwasher like hats/toys do you use a dishtab? I know anything besides dish soap or bleach will cause suds. I thought that was a wonderful cleaning hack!
Im not sure if anyone’s said this or if you’ve seen it but instead of putting the dryer sheets behind the cushions I always unzip them and put them inside, we do this for sofa cushions too. Also we put dryer sheets on the pole in the wardrobe and leaves the clothes smelling fresh too
Hi Emily, I'm a new follower from Germany. I like your channel very much. By the way "never leave empty handed" is a sentence, my mother told me 20 years ago. It sounded "niemals leer laufen" As a teenager I hated these words... but obviously I internalized them :D good work, mum! Could you please make a video, in which you show how to store your cleaning utensils? I have many of them and my cleaning-wardrobe is bursting at the seams and gets messily. Perhaps you have an organization tip or I can get some inspiration. That would be great. I'm looking forward your next video. They are amazing!

I do! 🙌🏻xx
Every time I watch them , I think I did this crap 20 yrs ago and little kids ! You clean to make them look good ! What would their friends say if home was dirty !
I do
Yep! Absolutely
I do! Or even when I didn't plan to clean I watch the video and think, okay, come on, I'm gonna do this or that.
Sometimes it's not a matter of laziness, just the concept of working smarter, not harder that appeals to those on a time crunch. Cool tips 👍
Exactly! I love finding any shortcut xx
I agree, I think the “lazy” part is kind of off

I love your tip from a previous video of having a stair storage box for items to go upstairs. Use mine all the time. Brilliant tips today.
Indeed... I always had a basket at each end of stair but I love, love, love the basket in the video... 💕
A stair basket?!? How cool! Thanks for all the tips!
I've used the grease hack for years. The dryer sheets I put in my dresser drawers. I love your accent and the way you say some of your words. These videos are great. I've used the time hacks you've given before and they really work well. Thanks for sharing and God bless.💜

Thanks for sharing dear
Great video, thank you! 😊 Whenever I use a Colour Catcher, I always wipe the washing machine seal/door with it once the wash has finished before chucking it in the bin.
Emily, that blue color in your sweater looks fantastic on you. So good! And I saw those matching colors in the banners at times. Nice touch, you!
I really liked what you shared. I have gone to other sites and quickly left. But I stayed for all of yours and will try some of your suggestions!! Thank you! ❤️
Tumble dryer sheets in shoes while you're storing them - really helps with shoes you wear without socks!
Been cleaning my blenders like this for years! Works very well!
Your home is my dream, clean, cozy, airy and light. I just love it! Wonderful hacks, thank you! Greetings from Ukraine)
I use an empty tin can for my used grease. I keep it under the sink and put it in the bin when it's full. I use the ones with the ring-pull lid so there are not sharp edges.
My mom used empty coffee cans. Some grease (bacon)was used as seasoning in other recipes.

Hi Emily! Thanks for this video! I loved it! I already use many of these hacks but it is always good to see some new ones 🥰 more of this, please!
Really enjoyed this! I've been doing the wet shirt steam toss to iron my kids school uniforms every Monday morning for soo many years. I thought I was so disorganized because I didn't iron them like my mom. Turns out, I was working smarter. Lolol Edit: Thanks for sharing!

Coming across your channel for the first time and absolutely love your videos! 💖
I thought I knew most cleaning hacks but learnt loads from this video so thanks! Xx
I just love you Emily . You make me forget my stress and anxiety .ALWAYS PLEASURE TO WATCH YOUR VIDEOS.
These are great tricks! I try to do that last one (not go up or downstairs empty handed) and it makes a huge difference!
Lazy and perfect for me! Thank you! Another way I get wrinkles out is to throw the item in the dryer with a few ice cubes. Works every time.

Swan handheld steamer is great for bedding and clothes
Perfect.
Thankyou for sharing all the fabulous hacks 💕
for the over liners, read the instructions! Mine says to place them on the lowest rack or tray, NOT directly on the floor of the oven.
Yea cause otherwise it blocks the heat from the bottom
So easy and simple tips for cleaning thanx ☺😊
Thank you Emily ❤🍀🤗
Brilliant ideas !!
Great tips Emily going to try them.❤️
Here's what worked for me instead of ironing: water+hair conditioner 3:1 into a clean spray bottle - spray on the creases lightly and watch wrinkles dissappear before your eyes.
