In today’s video I’m going to take you thrifting into Goodwill. I will show you some fun and interesting things I saw while thrifting as well as a small haul at the end of the video. I hope this video gives you some "Thrifting Inspiration”! :)

There are beautiful, unique and inexpensive second hand treasures just waiting for you. These items can be found at your local goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores in your area. Thrifting can be a challenge but very rewarding and worth the hunt! Some of my favorite things to thrift for are home décor items, name brand clothing, vintage items and anything unique or handmade!

Thanks so much Maureen..he recently passed this October. It choked me up seeing the sign. He used to be in the Navy and he was stationed in Australia for a while. He said he never took the time to go look at the kangaroos and enjoy the scenery. 🦘 🌞

Hannah what a great job describing the cake platter, dip holder , or punch bowl. That's totally awesome. Jessica , I love that you noticed the kangaroo sign and realized it might be a sign from your grandfather. I lost a daughter who was 21 in 2007 , her name was Jessica but she liked being called Jessi , since she passed away I see all sorts of hearts any where's from on items or on the ground in bright yellow paint outside of my car door at a walmart , but I see them alot. My first one was at a garage sale in Ny it was a angel in the blue that was her very favorite color holding a heart. I wish I could post a picture of her too you showing you what I received my first mother's day after she passed which also happened to be her birthday, it was a extremely hard day for me ,I was taking a picture from my phone of a her school picture someone took of the last time I remembered her the happiest as she had as so much happen with illneses over the years , well I ended up with a heart moving down my picture which people say was her orb ( not sure of the spelling ) but it is truly the bright heart ever , it glows. I just wanted to share that with you.

I bought exactly the same cakestand a couple of years ago at Aldi in Germany...nothing expensive, but I love it.

Precious memory. Loved the cake stand. Almost everything you picked up to look at was something i liked. The chickens, that yellow, blue, and cream colored bowl. That jewelry box, absolutely loved the honey pot. I have my eyes open for one. The cast iron pieces. I have a snowman one but i would still have gotten both.. Wow just had an idea pop into my head. Im thinking of doing some apple cinnamon ornaments for next year i wounder if you could use those as a mold.

My mother passed away right before Christmas 1987. The blue bowls were under her tree for me. I love them.
The cake holder is beautiful. My great nieces and granddaughters would’ve loved the ceramic elephant and the glass unicorn. The kangaroo sign goes great in your garage with your late grandfather’s belongings. I also have been praying for Australia, that God would send rain to them. I have some relatives that live there that had to be evacuated to army barracks. They’ve lost so much land and wildlife. So awful. Thank you for sharing your finds. I love thrift store shopping.

I always guessed the sharpie was to keep people from changing price tags on items. That same reason I don't price my yard sale items. I'm not going to argue with wemon over what I no I priced something at. Coach wallet purse keychain all match still in it's bag it came in I had all original price tags from store. A lady changed it from 50 to 5. It took me and 2 customers to get my purse back. She threw a 5 at me and took off with a bag full of coach items. Shew yard sales use to be fun. Now i need a bouncer like bars have. Lol
