Hi Allen! I also hear that they now do pepperoni pizza at the Italian restaurant and when the Asian restaurant is open for lunch, there will be smashburgers. I kinda think it was good that it wasn’t open when I was there lol! You may not be so lucky!!
Regardless of the negative people and their comments, I'm looking forward to visiting Vivid in December. I've been to a handful of resorts in Mexico and while not all were perfect for one reason or another, I can honestly say that I have never had a bad time at an AI resort in Mexico. It's what you make of it.
Hi Christine! Good for you! And I know that you know what to expect with new resorts so I think you’ll have a great time. Can’t wait to hear what you think of it!
This all looks amazing. I'm especially excited about the ceviche and taco trucks. Reminds me of the jerk chicken shack at the Hyatt Rose Hall and I loved that place. Hyatt sure loves pushing that Clase Azul tequila though don't they? I noticed they had a cart near the front entrance of every restaurant in DR and I'm seeing it in your videos too. I guess I can't blame them for trying but man... that's such a bad tequila.
Hi DeeDee! I didn't get a chance to try the Ceviche truck but the taco truck was fabulous. Especially the pork & pineapple taco, which was part of the Gringa one. Agreed - loved the jerk chicken shack at Rose hall but also the fact that they servers would bring you jamaican patties - so yummy! Is that Azul tequila the one in the big ceramic bottle? Funny - I don't recall seeing it on the shelves anywhere but maybe I just don't even see them anymore - I just assume it's part of the decor & forget that it's a specific type of tequila. I did have a glass of the Don Julio Reposado one night - it was very smooth but I'm just not a big fan of any hard liquor (although I don't mind some liqueurs like Frangelico or even Kahlua or Sambucca on ice!).
@ChristineTurner yeah, Clase Azul is the one in the blue and white bottle that looks like the base of a lamp. It's insanely expensive (that bottle is like $150 retail) and it's got a bunch of added sugar and junk like the cheap stuff. Crazy how something like that can end up so popular just because the bottle is pretty.
@@deedeethedog05 WHOA that's crazy! That said - I have met people on vacation who buy it just for the bottle! I mean, I'm sure you could find something similar on Temu or Amazon for a LOT less lol.
Hi SKGR! No the Grab & Go restaurant for similar-style to buffet dining is going to be in the corridor between Dreams & Vivid, so it's not open yet BUT this will be open for casual lunch and dinner. It's coming - just not open yet...
@@s.d.7597 hi SD! Yes there is for breakfast. They will also eventually have a ‘grab & go’ style place for lunch and dinner which will have individual portions of casual fare but this is located between Vivid and Dreams so it’s not open yet. My guess is it won’t open until the Dreams side opens - so a few more months to go on that.
I watched 3 of your videos on this resort, and they were all very helpful. Thank you! We're going in September. 🤞🏼🤞🏼😎😎👍🏼👍🏼🌊🌊🌺🌺
Hi Madame! I'm so glad you found them useful! Thanks for watching - I hope you love the resort as much as I do!
@@ChristineTurner Did I say 3, I meant 4. It looks great. Can't wait. 🌺🌺👍🏼👍🏼😎😎🏖🏖💖💖
Oh wow that's great! I can't wait to go back at the beginning of October and see how it's improved!
Wow, I better start the diet now! They all look amazing but the French and Italian spots made my mouth water! Thanks, Christine.

Thank you for the video! I just wonder there is no food after 11pm except coco cafe?
Yeah that’s correct. Lots of people seem unhappy about this though, so maybe this will change. 🤷♀️

I’m going last week of October for my 30th birthday I’m sooo excited ☺️☺️☺️
Nice!! I hope you have a great time and a fabulous birthday!
How much were the clase azul bottles?? :o
Hi Hayme! I’m not really sure but I think the special bottles started at $100 & went up from there.
Did the buffet serve dinner?
