What was the problem with the first motor ? I have a fully rebuilt motor on my blaster and I have no air leaks, great spark, 140psi compression and it just back fires when I try to start it.. I have play with the carburetor I’m running stock jets but still I can’t get it to run😭
140 compression might be low. I would look to see what it is supposed to be at stock. My cr250 is supposed to be 190 psi for a stock motor and my modded motor is 230psi
Good information, building a 92 250. Waiting for cases to come back from Vapor blasting. Moly grease noted
Awesome! It’s probably a good idea to do this test right after the motor is assembled. We do vapor blasting as well! Thanks.
Thank you very much this video is very interesting it has helped me quite a lot !
That’s awesome I am very glad
To hear that! That’s what I posted for!!

Sounds like your timing might be off.
Do you have a link of this kit?
I don’t have a link, but just search leak down test kit on eBay with your model and a kit that is specific to your bike will pop right up.
